Despite all the positive reviews, this doctor turned out to be the worst I’ve ever experienced. She presented as caring initially, but she’s ultimately quite demeaning and dismissive. We made an agreement to attempt a cervical dilation w/o a painkiller (because the shot for numbing the area is also very painful and the procedure itself is quick). We agreed if it turned out to be too painful for me, she would go ahead and numb the area. Instead she stopped abruptly, ended the procedure and walked out so fast I didn’t have a chance to speak. Then she follow up called to blame me for the poor outcome and billed my insurance for a full procedure that she ultimately did not complete. My partner has tried to communicate with her to advocate for a more helpful solution and has been met with more abrasive and demeaning responses. Dr. Swiderski may have been great in the past - but as of 2022, she is not. She knows she made a mistake and has instead decided to respond defensively at my expense.
