30 min wait but we’ll worth it. He is very personable and communicates in an easy to understand manner.

Dr. Deaton and his nurse Donna are caring and professional. The clerk at the front desk, however, is rigid and not personable at all. She needs training in customer service so she can reply with something besides "there is nothing I can do".

My two year old stuck a piece of styrofoam up her nose. I could barely see it and it looked really small and she had no issues breathing so I wasn’t too panicked. However I knew we had to get it out! Her pediatrician recommended a few places/doctors to call hoping one could get her in quickly. No one would see her except Dr Deeton worked with us to squeeze her in. He was so kind and played with her a little and gave her a rubber duck because she was a little unsure. She warmed up quickly and his team was able to get out the styrofoam. He also checked and made sure nothing else was up there. We were all shocked at how large it actually was so I am so thankful he worked us in so quickly, was so kind, and helped our daughter! Dr. Deaton and his nurse Donna are amazing! I would highly recommend this team for any ENT needs you might have. I have suffered from allergies and sinus migraines for years and upon reviewing my MRI, Dr. Deaton recommended surgery to correct many internal issues that would remedy my headaches and other sinus issues. He was extremely helpful in the months leading up to surgery by giving me all of the information I might need to make the right decision and answered all of my questions. He helped me schedule the surgery at the right time for my health and my business, and even had me come in twice before making a decision to move forward. On the day of surgery, he was amazing and did an outstanding job! He was all smiles and made me calm and comfortable. Since surgery, he and his nurse have taken such great care of me. They are kind and always happy to see me. They have answered all of my questions and have walked with me through every step of a 4-week recovery. I cannot recommend Dr. Mark Deaton enough. He not only knows what he is doing, but he is kind and no doubt a great person. He and Donna have both made a pretty intense surgery and recovery the best it could possibly be! I saw him for migraines and sinus issues, he prescribed some spray and told me to take some advil for pain. I'm still having sinus issues, I was dismissed and not given proper treatment.

Dr. Deaton is very easy in his manner, he communicates well, and he was very interested in my issues. I would highly recommend.

He was so great with our daughter when she was young and continued that has she became an adult.

Waited over an hour and a half. This is unacceptable.

No opinion on the doctor but after waiting 2 weeks for a call to schedule an appointment from a referral I end up having to call in. Was told 3 weeks out, asked to have a nurse call me back if they can fit me in sooner. I have to call back three days later and get told the soonest they can get me in is 5 weeks out and the doctor is on vacation next week. Which wasn't mentioned on the prior call. After a two hour wait, and only after I asked the receptionist if I could expect to be seen soon, I was told that the doctor was running so behind that it would be at least another hour until I was seen. Unfortunately, I do expect to wait at most doctor's offices, but three hours is really outrageous. I scheduled my appointment weeks in advance. I would have appreciated - if not a call before I drove across town - at least a heads up when I checked in to let me know that the delay would be so extreme. The staff seemed unconcerned and unsurprised, making me think this wasn't a new or unusual issue. I will try another provider. I fractured my nose on a Sunday and was referred to doctor Deaton on Monday. He saw me immediately and determined that it need to be surgically corrected. My schedule was limited so he scheduled me in that Thursday on his lunch hour. Got it done, pain free. Very smart and perceptive. He helped when other doctors could not. He is very no nonsense. He may appear brusque, but he is just direct.

Dr. Deaton is awesome! He diagnosed my husband when 4 trips to the ER and and 4 other specialists couldn't explain my husband's blackout or dizzy spells. After that, I saw him because I was unable to fly in planes without getting ear infections every time. He put adult tubes in my ears, and it's been happy, healthy flying ever since! Wait time can be excessive sometimes but it is worth the wait!! 100% Dr. Deaton is awesome! I love Dr Deaton, he really helped me with my allergy problems

I have rated Dr. Deaton with one star but my son actually never saw him. We arrived for our appointment 15 minutes early and completed all of the necessary paperwork. 45 minutes later I asked the person at the desk when my son would be seen. She seemed surprised that I would even ask such a question, but answered there was one person ahead of us, so not too long. Another 30 minutes later I told her we had to leave. She asked if we wanted to reschedule. I said no, we would find another physician. Her response "o.k." I understand there can be emergencies, but over an hour late with no communication is not acceptable. I have rated Dr. Deaton with one star but my son actually never saw him. The first appt for my child was at the Nville office.I had to wait an hour because someone in the office scheduled the incorrect time.We did find out,my son had a polyp in his nasal cavity.I had to schedule a 2nd visit after X-rays.On a Monday the ofc staff called & asked if I could come earlier for my Friday appt.On Thursday at 5 o'clock,I get a phone call stating that Dr D won't b n the office!We've gone to Vandy since then & the dr is treating the polyp rather than surgery like Deaton wanted.
