Dr Allara is the best doctor. He always listens to your concerns and then recommends the best solutions. Every time that I've ever met with him I feel so much better after I leave about whatever is bothering me. The only sad thing is his practice overbooks him all the time and it's hard to get an appointment when you need one.

Every experience I have had with Dr Allara ,other drs and all the staff at MFM have always been Great ! Any time I need them they are there for Me! Sometimes you have to wait a little bit on the phone but it’s always worth it. I feel that I have to speak out and speak up about my experience with Middleton family medicine. The clinicians that I have dealt with in the past 2 to 3 years have been tolerable, some worse than others. There has been such a decline in the quality of healthcare and general attitude towards me has gotten to the point where I have to made a decision. They prioritize the offices financial interest above their patients quality of care. My health is my priority, and that is what I expect from my healthcare provider, to prioritize their patients health over their financial interest. I understand they’re a business, but they are in the business of providing healthcare. It’s sad because they used to provide excellent healthcare in my opinion, I trusted the office staff. I always will trust Dr. union. He’s an excellent doctor, but you have to get through the staff to get to Dr. Yoon’s. I have a right to quality healthcare. MIDDLETON FAMILY MEDICINE provides subpar healthcare. healthcare is directly related to health, health is directly related to the longevity of life. We’re not selling cars here. They prioritize their financial gain over their patients health and well-being. by all means make all the money you can, but the ethical thing would be to also provide quality healthcare. It’s not that much to expect.

This is a great family practice. Making appointments are really easy - in person or through their portal. Office staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. It’s great that you can have most tests performed right in the office and they have specialists on-site for most practices. Dr. Allara is fantastic - great bedside manner, never rushes through the appointment, always explains everything in detail, and makes you feel very comfortable. I have been Dr. Allara’ s patient for over five years. He is an excellent physician and communicator. He is knowledgeable and stays up-to-date on latest medical developments. Everyone at the practice is friendly, professional and takes a real interest in my well-being. I think the practice is one of the best in Massachusetts.

Dr. Allara is an excellent physician. The problem is with the office staff at his location. I've had a couple issues with office staff. On one occasion they caused a 3rd party lab to bill me at the wrong address resulting in the bill going to collections. On the most recent occasion they sent notice of an appointment for my son which was originally supposed to be for my daughter. Except that the appointment was rescheduled a long time ago. That appointment didn't exist. The office staff kept trying to hang up rather than fix the issues this caused.

Dr Allara has created the perfect one stop comfortable and friendly “home” for all medical needs. From scheduling appts or requesting meds it’s super quick and easy by calling or online. If your Dr is not available, there are other friendly professionals there to step in. Whatever my medical needs are- Dr Allara has a Doctor on-site for me to see! Also can get bloodwork and X-rays etc done there too They are there to accommodate you!

I had the great fortune to meet Dr Allara in his maternal/child residency at Beverly Hospital when I was in charge of labor and delivery.He was amazing with patients as well as staff and was very skillful in any situation or emergency. I was happy he set up his practice 30 min away and I was thrilled to be able to have him for my primary doctor! He’s brilliante and thorough as well as having a wonderful bedside manner! My husband and daughter are very happy to be under his care as well.

I saw Dr. Mark Allara yesterday for my annual physical, I had not seen him for 2 years and only saw him a few times before. He treated me as I had never left him and he remembered me. He spent an above average time with me and did a complete exam not skipping anything because he was rushed like I have experienced with other doctors. I highly recommend him if you are looking for a PCP.

It’s always a pleasure coming into Dr. Allarra’s office. The staff is always kind and welcoming. The nurses are the very best I’ve ever experienced, very knowledgeable & friendly. Dr. Allara is always very thorough and always makes me feel comfortable. I’ve had issues with tennis elbow and carpal tunnel syndrome as well as other issues over the years. Dr. Allara and his effective plan for treatment and referrals is always right on! I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else..

My family & I have been going to this practice for the past 20+yrs. Dr Michael Yoon is our Primary Care but on occasion we also see Angela & Cindy both Np's. We also have our dermatology visits by Matt Galvin. They provide the absolute best care, treatment, show compassion, listen to you~no matter how long you need, are caring, kind, sensitive & respectful. They have xrays, labs, Ekgs, nutrition, weight loss, specialists who deal with Psy related medication, a doctor on staff who specializes in pain medication & more. The office staff who work the front desk, check out, billing & the Techs are the kindest, most compassionate people you want helping you. I have been sick for almost 8yrs & I can't think of a better 'Second Family' to take care of me. And if you do have a problem, all you have to do is speak with your Doctor or the Office Mgr & it will be addressed. My family has been going here for a few years and we like it a lot. The staff is fast, friendly, and attentive. Communication is good.

Dr Allara is the best! He and his staff exemplify caring professionalism, expertise and thoroughness. Last Friday, at 5pm, I called his office because of a bug bite and what looked like cellulitis on my arm. Dr Allara stayed and waited for me to get there, examined me and prescribed an antibiotic for cellulitis, saving me from a trip to Urgent Care on a Friday evening. What was amazing was that he was glad that I called and happy to wait to make sure I was treated. Dr Allara also made sure I knew what to look for in the event the cellulitis worsened and said that the Manchester office would be available on Saturday and his office available on Sunday. I’m always a little nervous around doctors, but his caring makes me feel comfortable and at ease.

Dr. Mark Allara is one of the most caring, sensitive Doctors I have ever met. He is knowledgeable and honest and truly an asset to the medical profession.

visiting a patient of Dr. Allara's from out of state when my daughter fell ill. They worked us in and were so personable, helpful, kind, and professional! If they weren't 11 hours away I would be switching doctors right now!

Always treated with great care. Dr. Allara is an extremely knowledgeable, caring and down to earth physician.

Very charismatic clearly loves what he does! Results come quickly within 24 hours, never a problem getting an appointment, excellent bedside manner, trusted family doctor.

I love Dr Allara. I have been a patient for over 5 years. He is kind and takes time to listen. He really cares. I was worried about a test result and he personally called me back the same day with thankfully good news. I would recommend him to anyone. He is fantastic. I worked for radiologists for years. Dr Allara was the only doctor who knew exactly what to test for and helped getting patients proactive treatment. He is the best of the best!!

My husband and I are new patients of Dr. Allara. Other members of our family are patients and suggested we see him. I had met him while bringing another family member to him for a second opinion. I was so impressed with his kindness and how comforting he was to the patient as well as those of us who were there for her. We are now seeing him and are very pleased. Dr. Allara is kind and considerate, very knowledgeable and takes time to talk to his patients and listen to their concerns. Even though you know each day is very busy for a Primary Care doctor, he always takes the appropriate time to spend with you and you never feel like he is rushing out to see the next patient. His treatment plans are great and most issues can be taken care of right in his complex.

Front office staff was never very helpful and recently when I went to another PCP instead of telling me they could transfer all my medical records directly to the new PCP at no charge they charged me $50 for the records! I have seen Dr. Allara for over 6 years and I found him to be friendly but non-empathetic. Over the years my blood counts have deteriorated and was sent to see specialist in a variety of fields with no conclusive results. His reply from then forward was draw blood and watch,

Was my PCP for over 6 years and during that time my blood counts dropped but he kept telling me we will keep checking, finally I got a new PCP in 2015 and within a month was diagnosed with cancer. Many more details behind this but the gist is no empathy from this Dr and is more of a push you through and collect the money from the benefits.

My family and I have been with Dr. Allara for 16 years. We have gotten to know many of the doctors and other staff in the practice. It is helpful to view the practice as a whole, as there are several doctors. My husband and sons usually have appointments with Dr Allara but sometimes with others. I generally have appointments with one of the nurse practitioners . We have been happy with our treatment which has included several significant problems with my husband and a son's rare disease.

Dr. Allara was my PCP for over 2 years and I never met him. I tried to book appointments with him but never could get in with him because he was always overbooked. I had to see a nurse practitioner every time. You would think that he would make some time for at least an initial visit but I didn't even get that. He is the director of the practice which has gone downhill over the past year. Look at the latest reviews around the web.

Staff is very friendly. I have no problems with waiting to be seen. Dr Allara is very engaging. However, getting results from testing is problematic. I have been waiting for 2 weeks to get the results of blood tests. Had to call the office to find out what is going on. They sent me the tests and one of the items is out of bounds. Poor, very exclusive.Family Medicine refused treatment to out of town grandchildren who had health insurance card, and grandparents were willing to pay cash for the office visit. Grandparents were members of Family Medicine. Not any more. Worse, the office administrator made the decision without patients being able to talk to Dr. Allara. Children age 11 and 9 are children of a father that just got back from Afghanastan,2nd tour. They have quite the exclusive Medical practice. The administrators response was"take them to the emergency ward". May all the doctors and administrators of Family Medicine receive the same treatment when they have personal problems,... I've been going here for the past 2 years. I've had no big problems. Every doctor's office you try, there's always going to be something, but for the most part, this place has been pretty well for me. They share a parking lot in Middleton off of Rt. 114 with a few other businesses, so there is always ample parking. The doctors and nurses are very nice and helpful. The staff is good too. Their waiting room is well lit and spacious, always stocked with magazines, not just for women (which is nice). I hate going to the doctor's office and seeing only medical journals and woman related magazines! Plus, they have a good, strong and open wifi signal available to clients at no charge. I very much like that they allow payments and are willing to work with clients in their billing department. I now have health insurance, so its no longer a problem, but when I was going "out of the pocket," they always worked with me. The only "big" issue I have with them, is with their phone system. They have an answering service for after / before hours, which is understandable, however there needs to be an option to leave a message for the doctor or staff. When they call you after hours, their answering service is already on, so there's no way to call them back, even if they're still in the office working late and have requested a call back. Also, 75% of the time, their phone system works well, although sometimes you can be on an endless hold and when they get to the phone, they seem surprised that I was on hold. Or sometimes it doesn't even connect. If Family Medicine were to fix the problems with their phone system, I would easily rate them 5 stars, instead of 4. I've been going here for the past 2 years.
