Dr. Marc I Dinowitz

Dr Dinowitz has now operated on both of my wrists for carpel tunnel syndrome. I am very pleased with him as a doctor and with the results of the procedures.

I had reason to visit with Dr. Dinowitz regarding a fractured left wrist. I found him to be caring, and sensitive. After examining my x-ray, he scheduled me for surgery the following day at a surgery center. The ease of check-in at Arizona Spine & Joint Hospital, followed by procedure prep, pain-free anesthesia and Dr. Dinowitz’s capable and skilled hands led to calm post-op activity. I saw him yesterday for my first post-op visit and physical therapy; and consider myself very lucky to be one of his patients.

Dr Dinowitz is an incredible surgeon and so much more. Dedicated to perfection. No Cookie Cutter Doc here-each patient is an individual and he takes the time to listen and even to delve into the how and why of some necessary surgeries to try to prevent and avoid more problems in the future. That said-he is not only doing his job but also doing what other Doctors have neglected to do for years.Pretty Awesome, don’t you think?

To schedule right thumb joint replacement.

Had surgery for dupytrens contracture. As I was rolled into the operating room there was loud music playing , not sure how they can efficiently operate and communicate in that environment. Years later my finger is worse than before. :/

Dr. Dinowitz has performed several hand surgeries for me. All with excellent results. Would recommend him to everyone that needs hand surgery.

Second time to see Dr Dinowitz in the last six years for a different issue. The man is phenomenal! Very personable, friendly and explains ailments and procedures very well so "common folk" can understand and know the game plan of treatment. His staff and office personnel are very efficient and friendly. The entire OrthoArizona Dr's, PAs, NPs, MAs are all top notch!! I would never go anywhere else.

Great guy. Great Dr. Explains and is very personable. The Ortho Az team is a bit less dynamicand the surgey center they use is still doing covid tests??? Anyway... great doc, weird scheduling and procedures, which is no reflection Marc as a Dr.

Dr. Dinowitz is absolutely phenomenal. He cares about his patients and listens intently. He will offer his suggestions/recommendations for proceeding with Treatment(s). He doesn't sugar coat anything and treats each patient as if they are his family. His PA: Jason, applies the same mannerisms as Dr. Dinowitz. They treated my carpal tunnel and recovery was easy. This Dr is the best.........

Outstanding Dr. Fixed both my wrists and they no longer fall asleep and keep me up at night. Has great sense of humor and this is very important to me. Jason also rocks it there and keeps it real and explains everything thoroughly. Highly highly recommend.

GREAT guy! Very professional as well as being friendly and funny! Excellent bedside manner for sure. He answered ALL my questions, did not rush me, and was so gentle giving me a cortisone shot that I did not even feel a sting! He's going to do surgery on both of my wrists, the first one this coming June and the second in July. I'm looking forward to being free of carpal tunnel pain, and I'm glad I found this doctor to take care of it.

He is excellent. He is very thorough, explains everything in understandable detail, answers all questions, and is very understanding.

Since 2018, Dr. Dinowitz has performed three hand surgeries for me (two for arthritis, and one for a stubborn myxoid cyst). He is a master of everything having to do with the hand. His surgeries have all been perfect, results with which we are both delighted. I have recommended him to several friends, each time explaining that there is no one beside Dr. Dinowitz who I would want to repair and improve my arthritic hands.

Marc Dinowitz is an excellent surgeon. Results are miraculous!

Dr Dinowitz is amazing!! He’s so nice, so professional and he’s a perfectionist. He treated me for both of my fractured wrists and 2 fractured bones in my right arm. I highly recommend him. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

what i expected.

Nothing short of spectacular

Recently had Dupuytren's Contracture release surgery, and two days after bandages removed, experienced significant swelling in my finger. I called the office and while on hold the receptionist arranged with the medical assistant (Beth) for me to text photos. Beth took the photos to Dr. Dinowitz, and quickly texted his response. GREAT service! The surgical site continues to heal and I expect to have full recovery of finger mobility soon. Thank you, Dinowitz team!

Had earlier appointments with Jason who scheduled nerve tests and x-rays and then met with Dr. Dinowitz to review exactly what my problem was and how surgery would correct the issues I have. He was very clear about what to expect during surgery and what the outcome should be both positive and possibly negative. He is obviously a very skilled surgeon and gave us all the information needed to look forward to getting my problem resolved. His "bedside manner" was also excellent.

Great doctor and staff. When my husband and I go together, we can get in the same appointment, which saves half the time. So glad we both needed hand surgery at the same time.

Dr. Dinowitz is a very knowledgeable, caring doctor who leaves his patient(s) feeling very comfortable regarding surgical procedures. He has a pleasant demeanor I left the office feeling very relaxed and assured about the upcoming hand surgery.

Everything was great.

Dr Dinowitz is a fantastic Dr. I’ve seen many in last few months due to a workmans comp injury. He takes the time to make sure you understand exactly what you are facing and his plan of action. Very easy to talk to unlike other doctors, and cracks jokes to help make you feel comfortable. I wish there were more specialists like him, most just want you in and out in a hurry and don’t give you a chance to ask questions. Doc Dinowitz has been helping me for years now! I’ve only had five star treatment and he’s earned my complete confidence in his skills. Wouldn’t consider going to anyone else as long as he’s practicing! Also a major bonus that his office, full staff, assistant and PT staff are incredible as well! I know I’m in the best hands possible with them all!

I waited weeks for my appt. I had spoke to a young girl about my finger that sits sideways (car accident smashed my hand in 2013) going cold, numb and losing feeling. I was scared I’d lose it I told her. She booked me out, Feb 11. I asked if he is affiliated with any hospital in case I needed to go in. She gave me a surgery center that did no good and I explained what affiliated meant and she said he was not. At my appt time on 2/11 I find out I was not on the schedule and there’s no way he can see me until 3/18. The young girl had not even documented the call. Again waiting weeks in pain. I’m now requesting my medical records to try and find someone to see me sooner to try to get help. I think the dr is good, but staff are lacking or not trained properly. I waited weeks for my appt. Dr. Dinowitz was very professional. I feel like he genuinely cared about my issues and recommended a solution. The staff was professional,the office was clean.

I was late for my appointment but the receptionist asked and was told they would see me. The personell was friendly knowledgeable and quickly got me to xray. Dr. Diniwitz was wonderful, and got my problem handled quickly.

Excellent, knows his craft well. very nice and personable and takes time to answer questions.

Dr. Dinowitz and his staff are great!

Dr Dinowitz is great. Totally has found his calling. He explains everything, very clearly. I feel he is very knowledgeable & confident. I am confident in his abilities. His bedside manner is comforting. I also appreciate how qualified he is and that he takes medicare.

I have been going to Dr. Dinowitz since 2013 and he is fabulous. He is one of the few doctors that you wish could be an expert in everything so you could only see him. I trust him wholeheartedly

I find I have an over all rating of Dr. Dinowitz as an 8. He is very friendly, he answers all my questions clearly. He does not rush his patients just to get to the next one. The office us clean & follows protocol for COVID.

Not happy with the solution of just keep having surgeries, it's no big deal. Doctor is in and out 5 times. No real discussion about why this keeps happening. Just keep going for surgeries at the doctor owned surgical center and to the doctor owned PT. Wouldn't listen when I told him I was splinting it. (Said I couldn't do it, even though I'd been doing it for months.) He walked out of the room when trying to ask questions. Been to a few doctors at Orthoarizona and don't feel like patients are the priority. It's all geared around the doctors and making $$$. I won't go back.

I have been seeing him for a number of years. I have complete confidence in him. He is caring and takes time to listen and understand his patients.

Dr Dinowitz is intelligent, passionate, compassionate and experienced. Sets the bar for all physicians. As a professional stringed instrument musician, I had 4 hand/elbow surgeries, 100% recovery, no issues. It will be a sad day on Earth when Dr Dinowitz retires.

Rushed, questions not answered. Conflicts of interest (he is also part owner of surgical center and PT). Won't go back.

Dr. D and his staff are wonderful. He tells you all of your options and allows you to make the decision that is right for you.

Friendly and professional staff. I felt cared for and important. Everyone was kind and informative. This office is one of the best and worth the drive.

Dr. Dinowitz and staff provided excellent care from start to finish! His entire support team treated me with care and attention throughout the process, every detail I can think of was provided for, from walking in with my injury through healing and recovery. Dr. Dinowitz is personable and his manner and knowledge gave me great confidence in his care. There's also a great vibe in this office, it's one of the best care teams I've ever encountered.

I appreciate his focus and knowledge and concern for me not just as a patient but more importantly as a person. He is a great doctor!

He is the most caring doctor intent on helping. He goes beyond the call of duty to provide the best care. I would not hesitate to use him again. He is also a genius at stitches. After healing and with proper after care by the patient, they barely show.

Dr. Dinowitz is the best. I had been in terrible pain with my left wrist. After meeting with Dr. Dinowitz, he took all the time I needed, answered every question and explained after my surgery I would regain 90% use of my wrist/hand (left). I went in for surgery on October 1, 2020. Of course, the Arizona Spine Surgical Center is better than any hospital I have ever been in. The professional and caring team makes you feel totally at ease. Following surgery, where I had very little pain and no need for pain meds (that may be me, but I feel the surgeon makes all the difference), I went through a few weeks of physical therapy with Beth, who was so encouraging and made quick progress. I was making pies in time for Thanksgiving and Christmas! While I expected great improvement, I am thrilled that to my mind I am 98% back to normal with my hand/wrist use - and you can't find my scar with a magnifying glass - something Dr. Dinowitz prides himself in. Dr Dinowitz shows real concern for your hand issue. I have had a thumb problem for some time. He offered advice that was best for me based on my particular thumb problem and the concerns of surgery or not. I appreciated that he tells you like it is. Thank you Dr Dinowitz. I love the Ortho MetaGrip thumb brace. It is exactly what I need.

Dr. Dinowitz performed carpal tunnel surgery on my right hand. I was very pleased with the whole experience I had at Ortho AZ. Dr. Dinowitz is a great doctor. He explained the surgery procedure well. I was very pleased that I could have the surgery done as an outpatient with local anesthesia. This was done at their surgery center. Experience at the surgery center was excellent. I was able to drive myself home. His PA, Jason, also did a great job at numbing my wrist prior to surgery. I barely felt it and told him how well he did with the injection. During surgery, the doctor talked to me which was pleasing. He also met with me before and after surgery which is a plus. He has a great demeanor and sincerely cares about his patients. I highly recommend the doctor and their Ortho AZ surgery center. My hand is feeling better now and surgery went well. Overall experience an A+.
