Dr. Lucius M. Lampton

2 hr wait to see the Dr. After 7 min in the room, he diagnosed me with “bronchitis” and prescribed a Z-pack. Didn’t test me for COVID even tho my oxygen level was low. I ended up in ER the next morning with COVID and blood clot in my lung.

Not good

Dr Lampton was managing my pain with medication. He then took me off COLD turkey causing me to go from suicidal to homicidal thoughts. He didn't even have the guts to tell me he was taking me off himself he had a NP do his dirty work.

Dr. Lampton has helped me when no other Dr. in the Pike County area would. He has me healthier than I've been in years. It's true that he doesn't spend a lot of office time with me. However,his NP Bill spends all the time I need and listens to everything I want to talk about. He then gives this information to Dr.Luke ,who when he walks in my room knows everything he needs to know. He addresses everything I have a concern about,and even more,complements me on my progress. I've worked hard,with his help,to get where I am today.I couldn't have done it without him. His office crew right now is about 50%. One girl is helpful and very considerate. The other is rude, almost obnoxious and shows no caring or compassion for people who quite obviously are ill or wouldn't be in a Dr's office to begin with. I'd like one month to get his office in order. I used to do that for a living and it would be ran efficiently and the office personnel would be kind and empathstic,and efficient. One month. I have been being treated by Chelsea and she has been great. She treats me and my wife with respect and answers my questions as best she can.

Dr Luke is without a doubt the worst, least caring doctor I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. He has the worst bed side manner, and that’s not just coming from me. My grandparents who live near his office also had the general hellish visit from him. The staff is as nice as can be allowd only in consideration of his self righteousness and judgment of everyone other than himself. I came to him for a medical emergency and saw him every two weeks at least. He still never even tried to find out what was wrong with me due to me not having insurance. Point being, not a good man, human being, let alone a doctor. I have to say that Dr. Luke Lampton is the most competent and intellectual physician I have encountered in 60 years. Recently, I was diagnosed with breast cancer and Dr. Lampton has directed me to the specialists and current treatments that I’ve needed. I’d recommend Dr. Lampton and his medical clinic to everyone.

Dr. Lampton is the most compassionate doctor I’ve ever known. He was my mother’s physician for 20 years. When she was diagnosed with terminal ovarian cancer, Dr. Lampton held her hand and ours through that most difficult time. My family felt like he was part of ours. He informed us of everything that was happening and what to expect next. His kindness and commitment to her was overwhelming. Dr. Lampton left us with the assurance that everything possible had been done and she had not suffered.

Dr. Lampton has been my primary care doctor for over 20 years. He takes the time to listen to me and I feel like I am getting the best care possible. Our area is very lucky to have him and I always recommend him to my friends and family.

Dr. Lampton was my mother’s phycision for 20 years. When she was diagnosed with terminal cancer, Dr. Luke was so kind and compassionate. He felt like a part of our family. He informed us of everything that was happening and what to expect during this agonizing time. Dr. Lampton always showed respect and integrity. He even makes house calls, if necessary. They just don’t make doctors like that anymore.

Dr. Lampton is the most compassionate and caring physician. He cared for my mother until the end like it was his mother. He takes care of my entire family and we cannot say enough abought the wonderful care that we receive.

Not very friendly, extremely judgmental, and more than anything, he does not seem to care about his patients. I feel sorry for anyone who has the displeasure of visiting him.
