Best primary care doctor I've seen in my entire life. For my first physical with her to establish care, she spent a full hour with me. She made sure to understand my entire health history and answered all of my questions. She also calmed my nerves in advance of the blood draw. Can't recommend enough.

I chose Dr. Straus for my Mom because she is part of NYULangone and her Bio. Our first visit was something one would expect from the distant past. Her bedside manner is EXEMPLARY. Her attention, advice, interest in family history and exam for my very ill mother made me feel safe heard and fully supported. I am so impressed with her that I can't wait to go back for our next appt. We have just suffered terribly during Covid with deplorable dysfunction with West Med, Lawrence Hospital and The Osborn. My Mothers cardiologist is with NYULangone in NYC and the experience over the last four years has also been exemplary. I am so happy to have Mom in the NYULangone system with Dr. Straus as her new doctor leading her care.

My first apt. with Dr. Straus was for a physical. She was warm and caring and very thorough. Spent plenty of time discussing each of my medical conditions. My lab results were uploaded onto the APP in just over 24 hours. All blood tests were accompanied by a comment from the MD. Only one test required follow up and Dr. Straus clearly explained what I needed to do along with the rationale for her recommendation. Anthony (medical assistant) is excellent! Thanks Dr. Straus :-)

For first time I feel like I find the right primary physician for me. Dr Straus was so pleasant and make me feel very welcomed. The examination was very thorough and I did not feel rushed. Everyone in the office was very friendly and helpful.

I can't say enough about Dr. Strauss. I just simply love her care, compassion and total dedication to making what ever that is wrong right. Walking into Dr. Strauss's office is like walking in your own home. She's that warming. I just wished there were 30 of her!!!

I have made several appointments with her, and have NEVER seen her. I have, however, seen all of her colleagues, despite consistently scheduling to see her. She seems to be an invisible doctor who doesn't even bother to RETURN HER PATIENTS' CALLS. She does not follow up with her patients, she does not communicate with them, and does not refill prescriptions in a timely manner. The local urgent care IS MORE RESPECTIBLE THAN THUS ENTIRE OFFICE.

Dr. Straus was exactly the one I was looking for as my family doctor! She listened to me carefully and made notes of every single detail that was important to me. She is experienced, compassionate and caring. She easily gave my husband referral to see a dermatologist. She uploaded our results online as quickly as possible after our visit. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a patient physician. April 2016

Dr. Straus and her nursing are very personable. The front desk, however, is another story. They've put a charge on my account that should not be on there. I explained the issue to the front desk clerk and she voided it. But then, when I saw the charge still on my account, I called the office. They said that it would be taken care of. It hasn't. Finally, when someone else called and left a voice message regarding the issue, they had no clue what the issue even was. Issue is still unresolved!
