I can never get anyone to call me back! I have left message after message & still no call back. Don't even know what days their in or the hours their in?

This lady ripped me off for $800 on my temporary dentures. No one will return my calls I even left a note with several phone numbers in the door and have not heard back. I am beside myself with disgust for this lady she is a thief.

I had a horrible chipped tooth and since I'm on medicade it was the only place I could find at the time, when I called and explained my predicament I was told to come in next work day and that they would take me right back....showed up and wasn't even scheduled when I was told I was!!! I waited 3 hours in the waiting room with my daughter who was only 6 months at the time....when I was finally taken back I was apologized to for the long wait but all they did was give me a cleaning when they knew I had cavities that needed fixed and etc. When Lisa came to see my teeth she told me I had to have a Root Canal done.....I asked tons of questions to see if there was anything I could do because my medicade didn't cover that and I didn't make much money as is and wasn't even given the light of day when all I wanted was help....this place is very hard to get ahold of so I honestly wouldn't even give this place the light of day! Still to this day I still don't have my cavities fixed and still have a chipped tooth.... My family and I have been going here for years and it has always been unprofessional. Lisa comes in when she wants to leaving children waiting for hours, no exaggeration. I've called for 4 days straight to make an appointment and left multiple messages with only one call back while as was working with no message. Made multiple calls during dentist hours with no answer. These people need to be shut down. They are here to help our community and all they do is waste your time and over charge your insurance. If your someone who takes the time to read these reviews, please go someone else. These people do not deserve our business or money. When your 5 year old has a appointment at 830 and Lisa the dentist doesnt show up til going on ten, should show you how much she cares. The staff isn't any better. They cant even return a phone call or leave a message. They are just as bad. Take your children somewhere else. God help if you do have an emergency dont expect any empathy or care from the Lisa Dean or her wonderful staff of stuck up Russell snobs. I was seen by her at Ironton, OH St. Mary’s when I thought I would be seeing Dr. Brooke Williams. She was referred to as “Dr. Preston” and her name wasn’t on building or website. Her dental assistant hurt my teeth severely. She talked about doing an extraction when I didn’t need one. I was due to come back for her to fix my chipped teeth (which she suggested a root canal at first but my reaction told her no) and skipped it thank god. I don’t have enough space to write all that was terrible. For myself and my 2 children and multiple visits. Extremely unprofessional, no modern equipment, I could go on and on. Absolutely terrible. My children came out bawling and terrified every time, as did I! ????

Rude af yelled at me during appointment. She was super rough on mouth and now my whole mouth is very sore. I will never go back. My mouth is still hurting days later and has sores from where they were so rough.

If i could give a ZERO I would. My wife went here and had the worst experience ever. Staff is Rude and unprofessional (when there is even staff there to work). They NEVER answer the phone. They started a root canal in the fall and it's still not done. They took 5 hours just to "clean" and didn't even get any real work done because she way overbooks and spends her time bouncing to other patients. They kept moving apts or cancelling them. When we finally got in with another dentist i called to ask about at least a partial refund (because they only did 1/3 of the work and we paid upfront) and they said it was my wife's fault she needed a root canal and they would not be giving a refund. Made an appointment a month ahead, when we showed up they did not have the appointment on schedule. They were nice to reschedule soon BUT the price for getting a bottom denture was outrageous. $650 for just a bottom, last place my husband got a top and partial was only$500. No explanation as to why it was so expensive. Was told on consult they do payments, then on the day they said they required the full payment beforehand. uncaring says it all, almost a 2 hour wait, and poor service, my wife was advised she could have taken pain medication before she got there

I’m not happy here either . My time is valuable. And after waiting from7:45 am .. I ask at 8:20 how much longer before I see someone ? I am the only person in the office . Unprofessional and deeply unorganized clerical and dental staff. Absolutely abysmal communication skills and zero accountability when asked to shoulder their fair share of the blame when things go wrong (which was frequent). I had fillings (multiple) fall out weeks after they had replaced them and I'm a fairly hygienic person. The dentist berates her staff right in front of you and their sinking morale gets more and more obvious each time I've interacted with them. These people seem to care more about the money and their hourly pay more than they seemed to care about my actual health. I can't recommend this place to anyone looking for dental care. Dr. Lisa Dean took me in on an emergency basis after another dentist in the area failed me. She and her staff were extremely helpful. I appreciate them incredibly!

I've never waited long and she was totally amazing with my children even my autistic 4 year old and extremely shy 3 year old...and my 11 year old loves her

Worst dentist I have ever been to. She skips back and forth between patients. Left me with an assistant working on a filing over an hour who didn't know what she was doing. Drilled too deep making me loose tooth later. There are no good comments to leave about this office I would not recommend going to her.

I'm giving a warning to everyone out there. PLEASE do not go to Lisa Dean-Preston Dentistry in Russell, KY! She has caused so many health problems with me!! She has absolutely no bedside manner, she is hateful and extremely rude and a few years ago, I went to get a filling and she literally pulls my jaw completely open with so much force that after I left her office, I was crying and couldn't move my jaw. In turn, SHE caused me to have TMJ. I urge you to avoid her at all possible. I went recently to have my wisdom teeth checked out, (She was my only option) and she pulls my jaw open AGAIN... She is THE WORST dentist I've ever been to!!!! She should reconsider being a dentist...the ONLY reason I went there recently an stayed was due to her reception. They were the BEST part of my appointment... I hope she reads this and realizes she needs to listen to her patients and have at least a little humility and bed side manner with her patience.. Also, let me say this! I am ABSOLUTELY terrified and go into a full blown panic attack every single time I have to go to the dentist now because of her! I had to go to a Dentist in Lexington for a consultation and was terrified the WHOLE time. She also didn't fax over my X-rays and NOBODY WOULD ANSWER THE PHONE. So, I had to get ANOTHER X-ray and possibly have to pay for it due to her not being on her game and getting stuff done. The whole time at this consolation, I kept thinking, "Is this dentist going to cause me pain? Are they going to force my jaw open wider and ignore me saying I was in pain?" She is literally the worst! I would rather have my friend who isn't a dentist remove a tooth for me then have her touch my mouth because at least my friend cares if I'm in pain and can manage just a small amount of humility and bed-side manner... HORRIBLE DENTIST! I went in to get some fillings done, and after she was done, she came back and told me that one of them was really deep and probably could've used a root canal, and that it was really close to the nerve! My mouth is KILLING me and no other dentist will work on her work so I am having trouble trying to get it fixed! During the procedure, while she was drilling it hurt really bad and I told her that it did, she told me that it was normal and that I just needed to get through it. She told me after she said I really needed to have a root canal, she told me that I if I still have pain that it is normal, and that they will do the rest of my fillings in a month. I WILL NOT EVER BE GOING BACK THERE! I can't even touch my tooth with my tongue without it sending me through the roof. I can't even chew on the other side with out it hurting. AND she was rude, and just kept talking about how she was concerned about her son, that he was too smart and that she wished he wasn't because he is turning into a nerd, and she wants him to just be normal, so she doesn't let him read or play video games, and he gets upset because her other boys are allowed to play video games. But it's okay that the other boy does, because he plays sports, so she knows he's going to be okay. All of this after me telling her I was a "huge nerd." I love this practice! I do not have to wait long to be seen. I find the staff very professional and Dr. Preston is great. Everyone here is sweet and knows what they are doing! My smile thanks you!
