Lee R. Dockray

I had scheduled appointment for my 15 month old for regular visit for 4:30 pm. I arrived at 4:41 pm and was still within 15 minute time period . The front desk lady asked Dr Lee Dockray if he would still see the scheduled appointment. She said the doctor would like to re- schedule. I am a Physical Therapist myself and requested the front desk to request the doctor once more , as it was important for my baby to get the 15 month vaccines . The doctor still said he wouldn’t see the patient, as my baby was a new patient and would need 30 mins time. As a heathcare professional it is important to know the principle of Beneficence , especially when the patient was still within the time frame of 15 mins as per company policy. I have no experience for his professional services but can surely say that healthcare professionals need to have a kind, compassionate and giving heart above all. I do understand that time is the most important commodity and to show up on time is very important, but there can be external factors that might happen. The reason to write this review is only to hope that the doctor uses his sound judgment next time for someone else who might really have a hard time to show on exact time due to unknown factors.

I loved Dr. Dockray, till the money hungry new doctor came in last Fall. We had been seeing Dr. Dockray for almost ten years. We took in our oldest for her annual check up. While we were there, we learned that Dr. D had an emergency and were offered to visit w the new Dr, to which we agreed. A couple of weeks later, we received a $100 & something bill because the new doctor does not accept our insurance. Something that they did not bother telling us prior to offering the visit with him. My daughter had been throwing up all morning and her primary care physician was not available that day. So I took her to Dr. Lee Dockay. He was great! He reassured me that everything was going to be okay and sure enough it was. The medicine he prescribed helped her out so much.

Dr. Dockray was my son’s Pediatrician from the age of 6 months through age 17 and we lived him. I always felt like my son was in good hands when we came in for vaccinations or a sick visit. I loved both of his nurses and his front office ladies ! He has a dry personality and is conservative in nature and was sable to calm my new Mother freak outs when my son was younger ! Dr Dockray cared for all 4 of my kids for 18+ years. He is knowledgeable, professional and personable. He relates to the kids and really well.

Have been seeing Dr. Dockray for my 3 children, especially my newborn for the last 3 months after my mom recommended him. He is always very thorough, it is clear that he knows exactly what he's doing and has had much experience. After 2 doctors and an urgent care staff couldn't find the issue with my sons tummy, he got right to the problem and helped! His staff is amazing, always knows the kids by name and are so kind. My son has been seeing Dr. Dockray since he was born. He is now 6 and we have nothing but good things to say about his practice. Staff is always helpful and nice when we need them. Love the small office and never have to wait long to be seen.
