Dr. Marshall is wonderful! I had a few breakdowns in his office, due to a traumatic event, and his words in comforting me, and his caring staff, were so supportive. He is always smiling, and makes sure you leave, with all questions answered.

Great Doctor. Alway calm, cool, collected, patient and kind. This office is very good at getting referrals out and scheduling appt.

The lack of professionalism here is outrageous! The front staff were extremely rude and the doctor didn't even spend two minutes with me before prescribing a ton of medications and walking out the door, he didn't even do an exam!!!. The only saving grace here was the nurse that assisted me. She was so sweet and kind. If I could go back to just see her I would but unfortunately that is not possible. It was my first visit and I have to say. I was actually scared of going to the doctor. It was my first visit. I was amazed, it was a pleasant and smooth experience. I was greeted by the receptionist, very professional, the entire staff was amazing. Dr. Larry was absolutely wonderful. Dr Marshall is the best MD ,he was the most help with my anxiety disorder, he spent so much time helping ,I will always be thankful to him

I have never been more shocked by a doctor. The total lack of care & professionalism was truly shocking. Dr. Larry Marshall came in 40 minutes late (we were 2nd appt. if day), called my father by the wrong name (he’s been seeing him for 10 years+), gave him less than 2 min. Of time (no exaggeration) and then He actually stood up & walked to the door grabbing the handle as my father was mid-sentence. As a nurse myself I can not fathom to total disregard of a patient. my father thought it was just him & so I accompanied him to see how bad it was….and it was truly bad. Incredibly strange interaction with this office today. Called to schedule an appointment/routine ECG, which I need for a med combination prescribed by a specialist. The office told me they would need a referral/order for the ECG. I told them I have a PPO and this is not required by my insurance-- I can just walk into a specialist's office or an imaging center and have the visit covered (I have done this many times and never had any problem with billing, including specifically for an ECG) and that I had checked and they are on my plan. They were insistent that they needed an order for the ECG, so I said I would ask for one from the specialist. They then said that the specialist couldn't send it and it would have to be a general practitioner. I said I would try but that it might be hard to get it by my appointment tomorrow given that a general practitioner had nothing to do with this request. They then suddenly told me they wouldn't be able to help me. I said I'll try to get the referral, it just might take some time and we might need to bump the appointment. They then repeated that they wouldn't be able to help me and went to hang up on me. At no time did I raise my voice, curse, or do anything that would warrant getting the "Karen" treatment. Excellent doctor - quick appointments, friendly staff and the doctor is brilliant. Highly recommend.

Dr. Marshall LISTENS to his patients. His staff is curtious at all times. He has been our doctor for many years.

The office staff is terrible at following protocol. I was left in the exam room and was told to wait for the nurse, "she would be right back", 30 minutes later I finally decided to open the door myself and asked if someone was planning to come back. The nurse apologized and admitted that she had forgotten about me. Dr. Marshall, on the other hand, just likes to hear himself talk and does not listen to the patient. He didn't believe me when I said I had not had alcohol in months, he said it had to be the reason for my abnormal liver blood work. Later, he was proved wrong with me pushing to get an MRI. This guy is a joke. He doesn't know what he's talking about and thinks he knows everything. It took me 3 weeks for them to finally fill out a prescription that was supposed to be written that same day of my initial visit. I think this is my final straw, looking for a new doctor now.

Dr MARSHALL DIAGNOSED MY AILMENTS QUICKLY AND VERY PROFESSIONAL GOOD COMMUNICATOR.

Prompt, responsible care. Dr. Marshall is a deft communicator and clearly an experienced diagnostician. His office staff is flexible and understanding and I've had only positive experiences with everyone involved.

If I could give a negative if I could.

I think Dr. Marshall is wonderful, it's his miserable front office that made me drop him. If you lack general regard/empathy for others, especially his children patients, don't get into healthcare as a profession.

Nice man. But focuses on symptoms vs. cause. I had to suggest logical referrals for my issues rather than him generating them. Good staff.

Hey all.ive been going here for years. Dr Marshall is a good man and everyone genuinely seems to be nice. I'm not sure what happens with referrals and paperwork or where the "ball gets dropped" I specifically went in to get a referral to a different specialist and was told that I would receive paperwork in the mail 3-10 days maximum.that was 21 days ago.i called today to follow up and after a brief moment on hold, was told" you do have a referral to your specialist through the end of the year unless you want to change the doctor. Haha..that's what I came in for 3 weeks ago ,payed the high copay through my insurance and took time off from work. All in all that visit cost me over 250 dollars for nothing. Know Dr Marshall for 20 yrs. Great doc, lots of common sense.

Both Dr. Larry Marshall & PA Jacob have been fantastic to me. Very friendly, down to earth and accessible. I can't believe all these negative reviews. The office staff have been pleasant to deal with as well. We had 1 small billing error, but the fixed it without a hitch. Each visit has been comprehensive and I never felt rushed. We have stayed so long because of location and we like Dr. Marshall (& miss Jacob!!) but the office staff needs to go. I lose my temper with their total incompetence every time!!! Read the other reviews. I'm not the only one. As soon as I find another office, we are leaving this one.

I don't like to write reviews of this sort but no one should trust Dr. Marshall and his staff, especially Karen Douglas. I advise anyone, especially FAA medical applicants, to NEVER engage this practice. I went to Dr. Marshall's practice to seek an FAA medical certificate that required a special issuance. Dr. Marshall and his staff did not process my application for months and lied to me about it. His assistant Karen Douglas was rude, deceptive, incompetent and wholly unresponsive. After the application was finally sent, the FAA determined Dr. Marshall's submission was inadequate and I was required to pay for and provide additional materials from my treating physicians because Dr. Marshall failed to do his part. After the medical certificate was finally issued 6-months later, Dr. Marshall charged above-market rates to keep the certificate renewed in what felt an awful lot like extortion. The facility is antiquated, Dr. Marshall is not on top of his game, and his staff is rude and inefficient. In addition to the many similar reviews online, there is interesting reading on the State of CA licensing site as well, and a clue to his competence lies in what is disclosed there about his medical education. I hope this is helpful to other FAA applicants.I advise anyone, especially FAA medical applicants, to NEVER engage this practice. My family and I have been going there for over a year and we like it. I wish they could do more at this office instead of have to go to another place for special test but I love that it is close.

He's very through and exceptional in describing procedures and reasons for each complaint. He's very personable and likable! I would refer all my family and friends to him!

I would not recommend seeing Dr marshall. My family & myself are patients of his and have tolerated his rude staff for many years. My neighbor was recently diagnosed with lymphoma & sees Dr Marshall. She went to see him & asked if she could have her anxiety medicine increased as she is on a very LOW dose & he told her NO. I know which medications she is on & I'm positive she doesn't abuse them & I also know there is no reason as I am retired nurse of 32 years.She now is left stressed & crying

Incompetent staffing, waited over 2.5 hours for a simple DL-51 physical, and they even made errors on the paperwork that made it unacceptable for DMV. Save your time, don't go here.

When i came last year Dr Jacob AND STAFF treated me very good. . I did get a referral i needed without any problems and today i see them again????

I been going to this place over a year now and I have had no issues with them at all. This place in 7 years of me living in CA is the better of all places I been to. Getting referrals this place was on point I was able to make the appointment for the referral the next day from the staff being on top of everything.

I've had bad experiences in the past with doctor's offices but everyone here was super nice. They took their time with me and seemed to really care. I'm so happy to have finally found a great place to be sick in! I recommend this place to everyone.
