You are ignored I’m not the only one two other people left whole staff ignored clients and was rude you would have to be a staff member to argue this lve given this place two chances and as l was walking into the office a mother and her daughter walked passed me and said (they don’t know what they are doing l wouldn’t bring a dead dog here)THAT ENOUGH FOR ME !!!

I have no doubt the Dr saved my life. He was able to diagnose my thyroid problems as well as find the right medication for my high blood pressure when other Drs couldn't do it.

Best doctor I’ve ever had he is very patient and tells you exactly what it is without sugar coating anything! Very personal office staff who know me by name when I call! Lal is the best for management of diabetes

This year has been pure hell for me. 1st I find out I'm insulin resistant. Guess he thought nothing wrong with upping my insulin. My sugars were running in the 200's. When they hit the 300's Now I take less then 5 units here and there. I knew something was wrong. He has no clue what thyroid eye disease looks like. He has no clue what cushings look like. These are just a few problems that my family doctor and another endocrinologist found. My question is how many others are suffering from things that he should know and be treating people for? Walked in.. after about an hour felt like l was in the twilight zone it was more like a movie crew where no one knew their lines..

I went today, February 15, 2021. I read the reviews after I received a referral from my family doctor. I have to say that the negative reviews are definitely genuine. This guy walks in with his laptop and it's like you're not even in the room. He's very robotic and at times seems like he's searching for something to say. One reviewer mentioned that he blames the patient for everything. That's a very accurate statement. My A1C number has me in the prediabetes range. He didn't prescribe medication but he spent a great deal of time telling me what was going to happen to me if I didn't change eating habits. I didn't have a problem with that but it's like he isn't even a real doctor. I was given a follow up appointment but I won't be returning. I went today, February 15, 2021. I would have gave him zero but Im sure there is worse. Everything you read here is true. He acts like a robot, wont even look at you, refuses to fill some medications unless you physically see him every 3 months...you should hear my wife deal with his incompetent staff. The receptionist quote "Dont always have time" to call a patient back in 24hrs if there is a problem with a refill. I am on TRT...if you have male hormone problems stay away from this doctor. He will make you jump through hoops every single refill. And the rooms... literally so dirty I take pictures of the same cobwebs I seen a year ago. The same moldy walls and ceiling tiles. You can just TELL your in a failing practice. ..I cant wait to get off Passport so I can avoid this whole building of 2nd rate 3rd world doctors! Very tight with money and doesn't always, key word being "always" give the best dosing advice but doesn't charge you to come back in for new prescriptions or bloodworm results so that's why I give him 4 stars. I recommend anyone who sees him do your own research because diabetes being one of his specialties, varies a lot from person to person. I believe if he prescribed more continuous glucose monitors there would be better patient treatment and thus less people suffering from hypoglycemia AND hyperglycemia depending on the day aswell as less patients developing neuropathy. His current strategy seems to be "more insulin" and that's why I am leaving his care. Subtle adjustments to his treatment strategies would do a world of good for him and his office. No one knows what's it is like to watch your wife go threw nerve pain, and the script is at the doctor's office and for some reason he will not send it to pharmacy. He was supposed to today at 1:45pm it is now 5:45pm on a Friday. So now I know she will have to try to deal with this until Monday. Well that is when I am taking her to see him for herself. Good luck doc she has not be doing good with the pain you could have helped with. I genuinely like Dr. Tanwani but his office processes are incredibly frustrating and confusing. It is relatively difficult to contact the office and get information. I find that blood test results and follow up information promises (that they will call you back with results) are rarely kept. I almost always have to call back to get blood sugar A1C results even though they "promised me they would call me". When I mention that they did not call me they assert that they tried and got my voice mail. The interesting thing is......all calls go to my cell phone and there are no (zero) voice mails in the inbox from their office.

My son has hypothyroidism. He has had this condition since birth. He has seen dr. Tanwani for several years. The office staff has never been great but I thought as long as the dr is addressing his needs it's ok. Well. This past year my son has been extra tired and dr. Tanwani said his levels are fine. My son just got a new dr. Because he didn't think his needs were being met. New dr was very thorough and has found several things not right. He is on higher dose and it will take a bit to get feeling better but I'm so glad he switched. I do not recommend dr. Tanwani !! Its not just about the levels there is a lot more involved . I found the staff to actually be nice and pleasant. But the dr himself to be the problem. He was very condescending and actually made me feel like I was boring him with my problems. Didnt greet me when he came into the room...He made no eye contact..and asked me question like a robot as he typed my answers into his laptop. Then he he pretty much attributed all the problems I have been having to being overweight. (I have a pituitary tumor). After I left the initial visit, I picked up my phone to find someone else. He prescribed me the medication I need and the wait to see him was short, but he seems like he is not a people person. I felt as if I were less of a human being after my first visit.

Dr. Tanwani was efficient, honest and thorough. I was taken back within a few minutes of being checked in.

I do not recommend Dr Tanwani for thyroid endocrinology.I made an official complaint as after the appt I spent 2 weeks of phone calls trying to get my prescription and then Dr Tanwani changed the action plan that we discussed, but never called me to discuss. He used his messaging system that he only checked 1x a week.The office manager is very pleasant and tried to make amends,yet bill had to be paid even though I was seeking services elsewhere.I would say more but character limits.

Very good physician. Very compassionate person. Takes time with any questions or concerns. Highly recommended.

You are ignored

I like him, he explains things and options. I am one of the patients using an alert dog and he helped me with the paperwork to get her accepted at work. There is a wait sometimes but it isn't the fault of the office, its patients coming in unprepared ahead of you or emergencies usually.

I worked as a phlebotomist for Dr. Tanwani for a year & I can honestly tell you, He is a wonderful & caring doctor who is dedicated to his patients & staff. I promise you won't regret selecting this doctor. I miss him!!!!!

He does care about his patients. He helped me with an endocrine disorder, where my other doctors failed. The problem is, a lot of his patients are in the position they are in due to their own faults. Sometimes, physicians have to be a little abrasive so that people understand the importance of their disorders.

I've been seeing Dr Tanwani a couple years now and I can say I like him very much. He is kind and very Thorough Dr. . I would give him a 10 on a scale of one to ten. I recommend him highly.

Appointment time was 4 oclock, along with 4 other ppls appointments at the same time. 5:30 and here I still set. Very rude and thoughtless. I cld have came for a 5:30 if it was goin to take this long. Time to find someone new.

This Dr. is great, He DOES CARE about his patients. I have had Type 1 diabetes for 40 years and he got right to the point of addressing the issues involved with my chronic condition. Louisville has plenty of Endocrinologist. This one is Rude & inconsiderate! When I arrived at 2:20 for my 2:30 appointment the waiting room was already full. As I waited patiently to see the Dr patients came and went. Finally, at 3:15 I was called back only to be told the Dr had 2 patients ahead of me. Needless to say I was not happy! When I made this appointment I asked his assistant if the Dr. was running behind could you please call me and to no avail no phone. His office does not value you as a person. Do not go to him!
