I love that I was bombarded with explanations and papers that went through everything I needed to know. It eased my worries to know what was going to happen and what to expect of my recovery. Dr. Sharpe must have do this several times a day yet has a way of making you feel like you're special. Did my left knee in July going for the right in May. Thank you Dr. Sharpe.

Met with PA Casey. Initial talk with assistant. Casey entered and questions flew. I was shown X-ray of knee and my problem was made clear. The x-ray picture was superior to any x-ray I had witnessed. Casey tested both knee’s flexibility. Option of knee brace offered. First time I had heard of option and limitation of brace’s benefits. Replacement was discussed. My right knee replacement several years ago and traumatic PT experience was discussed. I found Casey’s review of OrthoArizona philosophy of PT was new to me and reassuring. I did not like his remark "I don't care if you have hip surgery or not I have plenty of patients" This was with other medical staff in the room.

What an amazing appointment. Professional , friendly, felt very comfortable. Didn't feel silly asking no brainer questions I'm sure he's heard 100's of times. Made sure I understood everything and gave great after care tips. I'm very glad we found him and trust him completely. To find a great doctor and a staff that is just as great isn't common from my experience. Heather was fabulous too

I had a long somewhat convoluted path to my knee surgery. Dr. Sharpe was instrumental in helping develop a “can do” attitude about the entire process. Finally we get to day of surgery and he is still fully engaged in helping me emotionally as well as physically. He is a terrific surgeon; he’s an even better physician. Very personable. Great sense of humor. Takes time with you and answers any doubts or questions. Office people equally great to talk to and very helpful.

Dr Sharpe is a gifted diagnostician and presents me with more than one option of care for a given prognosis while explaining the probable outcomes for each. Excellent communicator and I leave his office with a good understanding of options and next steps.

From my 1st appointment I knew I'd be in good hands. Dr. Sharpe was attentive and caring. Surgery went well from the wonderful hospital staff to the caring and attentive staff at Ortho Arizona. I would highly recommend Dr. Sharpe and his staff.

Outstanding care provided by Dr Sharpe. Very attentive to what I wanted pre and post surgery. Pleasant during all interactions. Recovery went smoothly and cleanly - evidence that the Dr did his job well.

During my visit with Dr Sharpe he realized that I had been prescribed a medication that had very real serious side effects. I had been prescribed the medication for an issue unrelated his profession. The root cause of the serious medical problems that had led to the prescribed medicine had not been identified. Dr Sharpe was so concerned that my medical issues had not been properly diagnosed that he personally called a rheumatologist and expedited an appointment with him. Dr Sharpe was genuinely concerned with my overall health and was quick to direct me to a specialist that he felt could help. Of the many doctors I have visited over the years Dr Sharpe impressed me as a person who genuinely cares for his patience’s overall health. Dr Sharpe also effectively addressed all of my concerns related to my problems with my knee pain. I definitely will recommend him to anyone in need of an orthopedic doctor.

Dr. Sharpe provided excellent information regarding the problem/pain I was having with my Right Hip. Dr. Sharpe set up a procedure which reduced the existing pain.

Dr. Sharpe is the best. He did knee replacements on my husband, my brother-in- law and sister-in-law. All were doing fantastic. I know he will do a great job on me.

follow up on hip surgery.....good discussion and options for continued PT..

I met with Dr. Sharpe today to go over an ongoing knee problem to make sure there isn't anything that would require surgery. He assured me that it isn't at that point. Dr Sharpe was very helpful with recommendations that could reduce my knee pain without medication or surgery. I was in and out within a half hour. Staff was very efficient and pleasant.

Dr Sharpe was very easy to discuss an upcoming TKR. He answered all questions in a way that I could understand. He had a good sense of humor! When I left, I felt confident that I had chosen a very good doctor!!!

If you are looking for a surgeon who knows his business in orthopedics and will level with you in a very comfortable manner, you want Dr. Sharpe. He is great and so is his staff.

This was my 1 year post total knee replacement of right knee visit with Dr. Sharpe. I have been more than pleased with the results of my knee surgery. Dr. Sharpe did an excellent job. I was almost in constant knee pain prior to my surgery. This past year since surgery I have been able to walk/ hike without pain. Back to normal. Dr. Sharpe outlined the whole procedure and recovery timeline and he nailed it! There were no surprises and no worries. His work was outstanding and at six weeks I was feeling great and moved on with no prohibitions. Dr. Sharpe has top shelf communications skills and took his time to answer all my questions at every step of the way.

I fell a week after knee surgery. Office got me right in to see Dr Sharpe for assessment. They did extensive XRays. Luckily there was no damage to either knee. He took the bandage off so no more Saran Wrap to keep it dry!! Thanks Dr Sharpe for being there when I needed you! You and your staff are awesome!

Great surgeon, my new knee is doing great and only 5 weeks out of surgery.

I have been amazed at the outcome of my surgery. Doctor Sharpe and his staff are the best ever. I was treated with respect and lovingly cared for. They were very much concerned with my health and welfare. I am so pleased with them and would recommend them to anyone needing their assistance.

I could not be more pleased with Dr. Sharpe and his staff at OrthoArizona. I went to him a couple months ago with an injured left knee. After ordering an MRI (a torn miniscus), over time he steered my treatment and provided excellent and caring advice, which was that surgery was not indicated at this time but we'll monitor the knee as it continues to improve.

He listened and addressed my concerns with respect and empathy.

Dr Sharpe is thorough and efficient! I've never seen an office as efficient as his! I'm scheduling knee replacement and feel comfortable in his expert care. His nurses are caring and sweet. I feel part of the family! OrthoArizona has great docs!

I don't find dialogue regarding death from surgery, massive heart attacks or being hit by a car constructive to getting a second opinion on potential knee surgery.

Friendly & helpful.

Had appt at 4pm never met him waited an hour. Assistant came and could not access x-rays even when I contacted Banner directly and they made them available. I waited over an hour only not to be seen. I felt I was getting the runaround and staff wanted to just close the day or aren't competent in technology and work for patient. On another note you can hear everyone's conversation outside the door.

Dr. Kipling Sharpe was efficient and answered all of my concerns during my one year follow up visit for TKR.

Dr. Sharpe is a very good doctor . I have had 4 surgeries with him, two knee replacements, two hip replacements. He does an excellent job of explaining the surgeries and listening to my concerns. He is honest about recoveries and follow ups. I would trust him 100%. Excellent staff as well and clean and bright offices

He is smart and listens to the patient, his staff keep him informed about what they have found and help the doctor be more efficient

Good detailed information from which procedure to choose.

Dr. Sharpe has been our extended family's go-to Orthopedist for lots of things for over 25 years. He is an amazing orthopedic surgeon. Today he looked at my shoulder. It was bad news for me. But I am confident that the diagnosis was accurate and complete, and that the advice to delay surgery in lieu of other treatments was the best choice. We have complete trust in Dr Sharpe.

Dr Sharpe removed my 12 year old partial knee replacement and put in a full replacement and I am very pleased with the results! At my recent 2 month checkup I was given the green light to go back to all normal activities and no more therapy needed. However at my office visit the order for X-rays did not get to the right person and I waited an hour for them to be done before seeing Dr Sharpe but Dr Sharpe gave me lots of time for my questions.

Dr. Sharpe was referred to me by a friend of the family who's also a doctor. I have had knee injuries and painful problems for many years. After Xray's it was determined that both knees needed to be replaced. So I opted for having both done at the same time. OrthoArizona and Dr. Sharpe have been extremely professional and I couldn't be happier with the results.
