I have been a client of Dr. Zahir for many years. He is the best of the best! He is professional, caring, sympathetic and just an all around good man. He is an excellent doctor and surgeon. His staff is also professional, personable, and highly efficient. I highly recommend Dr. Zahir.

Never go to this doctor, very unprofessional and only cares about making money. I was waiting in hospital for 3 days while under a life threatening situation due to an infection. My doctors needed a surgeons opinion but he didn't show up for 3 days probably because he wanted me to come to his office just so he can make some extra money. Finally on the 4th day, the hospital had to refer me to his office. I was in extreme pain and had to drive all the way to his office. The doctor told me it will be $145 but ended up charging $310 just for a 30 min consultation. He was more like a salesman rather than a doctor. He didn't help me at all. When it a matter of life and death you expect a doctor would be more sympathetic and helpful but he was totally opposite. Recently had a lower face and neck lift with Dr. Zahir….could not be more pleased! So grateful for the excellent care I received and the results are very natural and beautiful….receive a compliment whenever someone I know sees my new look! Thank you again to De. Zahir and Sophie????

Dr. Zahir provided excellent care of my surgical needs from start to finish and event took time to explain the procedure to my husband as well was what to expect during the recovery period. I will recommend him to all my friends and family.

Don't waste your time going here smh

I tripped the other night and broke my little finger. Dr Zahir is a talented plastic and hand surgeon. I didn't always know that plastic surgeons do both aesthetic and hand surgery! I got my finger pinned and was back at my office later that day. Thanks Dr. Zahir!

Went for the coolsculpting. Before making the appointment I confirmed if they had the largest applicator because the said some days it’s at Ashburn. They confirmed it was available that day. When I went it wasn’t available and they asked if I want to reschedule. I didn’t because I had already taken off of work that day for this specifically. I got two applications on my upper abdomen done with the small applicator and asked if the price matched and they said no. Later there was no follow up at all. No phone call. No “how did the procedure go”. No follow up to see results. Nothing just money hungry. Although cool sculpting does work I won’t be going back there. He really helped me

So my daughter got bit in the face by a dog. We took her to the emergency room and that's when things took an unfortunate turn for us. Being a significant laceration to the face they sent a picture to their on call surgeon. We at first thought this was a blessing. Then this guy shows up. First impression... the overwhelmingly smell of cigarette smoke. Yes, in the emergency room getting ready to treat my ten year old he wreaked of cigarettes. Other than that everything was fine until we got to the billing. Less than a week later we go to his office to have stitches removed. Before even seeing the doctor his assistant walks in and hands my wife an invoice and wants full payment. What about our insurance? Well, he's out of network so they won't even put anything to insurance until full payment is made. They try to play the whole game, his assistant even tells me over the phone that they'll honor what insurance would authorize. Of course now that we made payment she is denying ever saying this. Liar!!! My insurance has now processed the claim and the amount allowed is 1/3 of what the doctor collected. I tried to give them the opportunity to do the right thing. They refuse. They'd rather continue to prey on innocent insured people at the hospital and screw them over with his out of network status. Zero business acumen or concern for the patient, it's all about the money. Just a fair warning for those looking for elective procedures, I was privileged enough to see a few of his patients while sitting in his waiting room. Totally awesome. Knowledgeable and explains procedures so simply. My scars are gone. Lots to learn from even outside dermatology. Well traveled and worldly. So pleased with my results - skillfull doctor who I recommend to anyone.

First impression was that the doc was both competent and confident. He is a good listener and patient hearing out your questions and concerns. Another thing that I found attractive was he displayed no pushyness!. The doc is conservative in his approach showing that he isn't trying to suck every dollar out of your bank account. He did a beautiful job on my old hooded eyelids and gave me low cost suggestions if I wanted enhance the surgery to tweak things. I have since gone back several times for fillers which is something I used to see a cosmetic dermatologist for. This may sound crazy but I always look forward to my office visits with the doc and his great staff ladies-Sophie & Ashley. After my next visit I probably won't be back for 4-5 months to check the botox but I will look forward to that next visit. First impression was that the doc was both competent and confident. The office staff and their friendliness is to the point, Dr’s compassion and his approach was very professional. We were treated well and cured well. Dr Zahir is truly an excellent doctor and took great care of me. He did a skin graft for me as part of my treatment for melanoma. Having skin cancer and surgical treatment for it is hard emotionally and physically, and he really helped me through it. He was precise, informative, easy to talk to, and has a wonderful bedside manner. I can't say enough good things about the care he provided. I'd warmly recommend him to family and friends.
