Dr. Kevin Dinowitz

My lazy eye made my cataract surgery problematic. Dr.Dinowitz did a fabulous job. For the first time in my life I do not have to wear thick glasses.

3hour wait with no apologies! (I guess my time has no value) . There were almost NO Covid precautions. For the first 2 hours, I was shifted from room to room and then stuck in a high traffic hallway for the last hour (BTW, I was able to hear doc discussing diagnosis and treatments with patients in adjacent exam rooms CLEARLY in violation of HIPAA laws.). A letter has been sent to the Connecticut State Medical Board and OSHA alerting them to this offices’ clear disregard for COVID precautions and patient privacy laws. I believe they will investigate and hopefully do the right thing and close this office down until proper changes are put in place.) You all should be ashamed of yourselves, especially Dr. Dinowitz. Your lack of empathy and care for patients were on full display. (Time to retire!!) There are many excellent doctors to choose from, but sadly, Dr. Dinowitz is NOT one of them. STAY AWAY!

I found Dr. Dinowitz to be a very patient doctor. He took the time to explain things and makes you feel very relaxed, and he has a great sense of humor, and he’s extremely knowledgeable, very impressive.

He saw three generations of my family. My grandmother, my dad and myself. Great chairside manner and very thorough. If I ever moved back to CT I would use him again.

I have been a patient of Dr. Dinowitz for several years and have been treated with professionalism each and every time. The staff is very nice and scheduling also very easy. You do have to wait a bit sometimes but you never know what they have going on with other patients. It's a very well run office with a terrific optical shop as well.

I have been a patient of Dr. Dinowitz for several years. I have always felt comfortable with him and have never had a problem with any thing he has recommended for me. I had such confidence in Dr. Dinowitch that I recommended him to my husband who has only one eye. He lost his left eye when he was 5 years old. My husband developed a cataract in the remaining eye and Dr Dinowitz assured him he would take excellent care of him. Half way home my husband decided to go ahead and have the surgery.

I waited almost an hour and when I inquired was told that the administrator would come and address my long wait concerns. After waiting another 15 minutes and no one spoke to me, I deduced that the professional staff did not consider my time as important as theirs, indicative of the fact that they did not call and advise me of the late running conditions in the office. I only saw a technician who stated that she had processing issues forcing me to repeat the answers to her questions.

I found Dr. Dinowitz to be very helpful, friendly and supportive. He is able to explain things very well and I felt comfortable and confident when talking about certain ailments with him. His recommendations appear appropriate and reflect his broad knowledge base. I would go back to him again.

Such a very nice person and a wonderful doctor. He's very knowledgeable and engaging. Really listens to you and make you feel like you're deserving of his time. The wait time is a little long, but you leave feeling educated on the issues affecting you. Great staff too..
