OMG, Kelly was so engaging and genuinely interested in my well-being and health. She is animated in such a way that let me know she is so invested in my every question, her every answer and in our back and forth diatribe. I learned more about my sleep apnea and my sleep study from 6 years ago in 2 telehealth visits with Kelly than I had in my 6 years with the (unnamed) cardiological team that performed my sleep study and initiated my journey into the world of CPap. Kelly carden and staff show's excellent service. Even though I have an appointment once a year they remind me that they care and share details

Dr Carden is very caring, knowledgeable, and friendly doctor. She is someone who listen to her patients, pays attention to the details and make a conscious effort to understand causes instead of just the effects. She is surrounding herself with very professional and helpful staff, I don’t see how any patient can be disappointed seeing her.

I felt very comfortable. I like the way Dr. Carden explained the results of my sleep study. I understood everything she said. If or when I have concerns I am confident the staff can help me with the best possible care.

Dr Carden is great once you get an appointment. I had to wait over 5 months to see her in order to get a new prescription for my CPAP machine replacement (Medicare rules).

I would avoid her if you already have a general understanding of sleep hygiene and have been suffering for a while. I was made to feel like a child without access to google who has never taken a single independent step to improve my sleep, and this occurred across multiple appointments. Once she started dispensing advice that was clearly potentially harmful, I gave up on her. She just, in my experience, does not seem able to see the big picture or capable of executing treatment with anything resembling nuance

Dr. Garden was excellent and took her time with me. Staff was very friendly.

Prompt. Efficient. Thorough. Knowledgeable. Personal. Listens well. Sense of humor. Answers questions and shares information to the complete extent required.

Dr. Kelly Carden is an excellent physician with unique skills in sleep medicine. She spends the time necessary to help solve specific needs, readily answers all my questions with regard to my observations with the CPAP machine and therapy for my case.

Dr Kelly A Carden came highly recommended by my neuro and once I was able to meet with her I understood why. She answered all my questions in a way that I completely understood. I appreciated her friendly mannerisms while at the same time being very knowledgeable especially about my history. So many Dr's rarely take the time to research how the history of a patient can pertain to the symptoms the of today. This was not the case of Dr Carden. She was well advised of my epilepsy, when I had my first sleep lab, began using a C-pap, etc... She took her time and solved all my problems before the end of the session and made sure I was satisfied and had no more questions. I look forward to my follow-up visit. In turn, I would rate Dr Carden as highly-qualified and would highly recommended her to all my family and friends.

Dr. Carden was very professional and thorough with the meeting. She covered all bases and questions we had. She made recommendations according to my needs and circumstances keeping in mind what insurance covered and what they didn't.

I had been dealing with severe sleep apnea for years and gotten no satisfaction from my previous provider. I was referred to Dr. Carden by a friend and after my 1st office visit and changes recommended by Dr. Carden and her staff I noticed immediate improvement. I was treated like family by Dr. C and her entire staff. Dr. Carden is truly the TOP GUN, THE BEST OF THE BEST of sleep disorders. Thank you Dr. C.

Dr Carden is very straight forward and genuinely seems to care about her patients' health. She referred me to several other doctors in order to get to the bottom of what is going on with regards to my health problems. She and her staff are very kind and caring.

My visit was great. She explained to me in detail on every question I ask. She also advised me on the type of machine that would be best to monitor for my sleep study. I know what to expect when it is time. I am honor to be on her team.

Not everybody needs the same amount of sleep. I've lived nearly 60 years of my life frustrated with my sleep. Within the first visit, she was able to tell that I had been trying to sleep more than my body needed, which can cause all sorts of frustration and anxiety. I (reluctantly at first) took her advise, pushed back my bedtime, and my sleep improved. Obviously she listens well and is not a one-size-fits-all physician. She has a great sense of humor too. Dr Carden is a great Doctor and friend. She’s very professional and makes sure any questions are answered. I have found this to be true of all of my Ascension physicians.

Dr. Carden is an extraordinary doctor. During my first visit she thoroughly explained sleep apnea to me. I had been diagnosed years earlier by a another doctor when I lived in a different area of Tennessee but I learned so much more from Dr. Carden. A friend and coworker had recommended Dr. Carden to me and I am thankful.

Dr. Carden is a very knowledgeable person when it comes to sleep disorders. She will help you in anyway she can to get the right treatment and supplies. She is very caring and goes above and beyond her job description. She listens to what you have to say and recommends treatment from information you give her. Not just your typical Dr. that makes the visit in and out. She also does virtual visits when you can’t make it in to the office. She never rushes you out of office or virtual visit. She is a very caring Dr. and has a great personality. She has been a literal life saver for me. Thank you Dr Carden for all you do.

Just had my first consult with Dr. Carden. I could cry from having my feelings and symptoms validated. She was timely, a very good listener, a very good educator, and I felt a comfortable rapport with her. I have not been treated yet, but I can say my experience with her practice so far has been extraordinarily good.

Was scheduled for a virtual meeting and the provider never showed up and all her reviews state she is timely. Well how timely can she be if she didn't even contact me to let me know she was going to miss our appointment. I called the clinic to see what the issue was and they said she is busy in a room with another patient and wanted to reschedule me for another day. Which to me is unacceptable when I was on time for my scheduled appointment. I declined being seen another day and would like to be seen same day. Dr. Carden told her staff to rebook me with another provider due to not wanting to stay late in the day to fit me in since SHE the provider missed our scheduled appointment. I will NEVER recommend her to anyone since she is unprofessional nor caring.

This is the best sleep doctor I’ve ever had and she has been keeping me alive for many many years. My mother & I had a new patient telemedicine appointment with Dr. Carden 8-2020 concerning our sleep disorders. Dr. Carden was on time contacting us & had full knowledge of our previous medical chart history from a dr outside of her practice. Dr. Carden was so easy to talk with over the phone. She was extremely experienced & knowledgeable concerning different masks options, etc. Dr. Carden offered many options for assisting us with “good sleep habits” prior to bedtime. We feel very blessed to have had Dr. Carden recommended to us. Great drs do still exist!!!

Wonderful empathy and care

I am quite simply in awe of Dr. Carden. She is incredibly knowledgeable and is clearly very gifted as a physician. She is thorough and takes the time to get to know her patients. She was able to help me address some problems I thought were hopeless. Beyond the her stellar knowledge, though, I'm really blown away by her gifts as a clinician. She really get to know her patients and she really cares. That's a cliche, but it's true in her case. She remembers details and has been very flexible with my crazy schedule, working with me. She's tenacious and once she decides to figure out a problem she will keep gathering data until she has it figured out. I've seen too many doctors in my life--Dr. Carden is easily one of the finest. I was totally blown away by how great Dr. Carden is. She took the time to explain my condition to me, and helped to update my sleep machine settings to improve my sleep, and she took the time to explain my insomnia issues, and help me develop a treatment plan. Other sleep doctors have just spent a few minutes with me and said keepp doing what you are doing. Dr. Carden takes the time to listen to patients and to act as a true care partner. A truly great Dr., and i would highly recommend her.

I was nervous and didn't know what to expect at this appointment. Dr. Carden and her staff was excellent. I loved the way a Dr. took the time to come in and explain things.. If you ever get referred or choose this office I do not think you will be disappointed

I suffer from Restless Leg Syndrome, and it has gotten quite bad in the last year. I had seen the doctor who is supposedly the "expert" on this disorder, and his treatment lacked the specificity, care, and quite frankly, knowledge that you would expect. After being kept waiting almost three hours for my last appointment, at which time he only prescribed more medicine, no blood testing, and no follow-up appointment, I looked for another doctor. Dr. Carden is not only knowledgeable, but experienced in the treatment of Restless Leg Syndrome, having some personal insight herself. She was extremely surprised at the treatment I had been receiving, and was both firm and definite about what we needed to do to get me relief --not sugar-coating the fact that it would take some months, since I had actually been getting worse because of the way I was being treated. She told me, "Take notes!" and proceeded to outline a treatment plan, including blood testing for iron and ferritin, immediately ceasing the donation of blood which was only making my situation worse, changing my antidepressant medicine, taking a liquid iron supplement in the evening with Vitamin C, rather than in the morning -- all of this absolutely NOT mentioned by either my GP or the "specialist." Within three months, my RLS was controlled, with little or no relapsing, and I feel much more confident that I can cope with this ailment. Dr. Carden has a great deal of knowledge about sleep disorders in general, but her treatment of Restless Leg Syndrome, and her positive and knowledgeable attitude toward working with patients, puts her head and shoulders above any other doctor in her field. Wow, excellent patient interaction, quite thorough, thoughtful and discussion with patient was complete and informative. Although I had to wait (staff was very apologetic) and after meeting Dr. Carden I don't regret waiting! She is definitely a keeper...

Dr. Carden is the best doctor in Nashville and the surrounding area for the treatment of Restless Leg Syndrome. I was treated by the local "expert" in this disorder, and his treatment plan was completely wrong. Dr. Carden corrected his mistakes and had me doing much, much better in less than three months, which included undoing the harm his treatment had caused. She is knowledgeable, definite, and extremely positive in her treatment, and I trust her completely.

Great Doctor very pleased.

I've seen several specialists over the years. Dr. Cardin ranks at the top. She is caring, listens, she's smart and carefully considers your situation. Great follow-up and follow-through. She really put my puzzle pieces together and helped me figure out my health crisis.

Dr. Carden and her staff have made a tremendous improvement in my quality of life through their caring and evidence-based approach to medical care.

I completed my sleep study and was able to get back into the office the very next week to go over the results with Dr. Carden. She took the time to break down all of what was happening and to assure me that I would love CPAP for my severe sleep apnea, and it would change my life. She and her office have been so accommodating to all of my million questions as a new CPAP user, and allowed me to borrow equipment, and test it out at home to see what is best for me. She goes above and beyond!
