Dr. Keith Roeder

He is absolutely horrible. My ex and I ended up tangled up with this inept therapist as per a court order. Neither one of us felt like he was actually listening to us. I ended up winning visitation in court, so I'm not saying this because I'm disgruntled, but this man blatantly sides with the male in a strong female/weaker male scenario. He must have been railroaded by a strong woman in his life and it skews his judgements and sympathies towards the males. Totally unprofessional. He is NEVER fair in his judgements or opinions. BOTH sides will end up unhappy with this guy. He had nothing to offer us in the way of actual strategies to work things out and he was ZERO helpful in helping mediate visitation disputes. The court just ended up ruling for us and this guy was about 10 total hours of our lives wasted listening to his nonsense just because the court ordered us to do so. WORST therapist I have EVER worked with. Ever. Steer clear if you are at all able to.

absolutely horrible. He's one sided, does not take into account any facts..If you're a man, don't go there....Hes inflexible on scheduling, loves $$ and is unethical on so many levels.

The doctor is an amazing honest professional that really listens to patients needs. We need more doctors like him. He helped me alot.

He's fantastic! After careful study, he perceived exactly what was going on in our parenting situation and wrote up an thorough, penetrating, and well-written report.

I do not how how Dr. Roeder sleeps at night !! I believe he does not give a crap about his patients.

I echo the sentiments of the others. Dr. Roeder is the most inept person that you could possibly get involved with. He is the reason that I lost considerable visitation with my children- which was completely not in their best interests. He blatantly believed my ex's explanation of events over mine even though he caught her lying on several occasions. He is one of the many reasons that family court is a joke especially for fathers. I would most definitely avoid this man if you love your children.

Dr Roeder refuses to fact check or investigate the father's side of disputes between mother and father. his recollection of events is faulty and biased. he terminated visitation with my child without informing me or speaking to me, then sent me a letter stating he would not meet with me. he is an evil, prejudiced man who switches his opinion to suit his moods. he insists that a young child should have power over the parent and is not functioning in the child's best interests.

I agree with all the responses, Dr. Roeder believes that we shouldn't say anything that the child does not want to hear. He basically said my job as a stepparent is to keep my mouth shut and does not have the guts to tell the real parents they are messing up a child for life. He is a major reason the court system is a mess and adolescents become such entitled brats.

He thinks I'm the bad parent, it's not my fault I'm well off and better at everything then my child's broke, deadbeat dad. I always ask my son to chose who the better parent is and he always says I am, there goes this quacks theory. Not once has my son told me that the father was a better parent.
