Dr. Arakelian and entire staff is simply the best! They know who you are, what you do and all about your family. They are kind and caring and make sure you are comfortable and aware of everything they are doing. They were able to work with me on a plan to get some work done at a price per month that I was comfortable paying. At one of my visits previous covid I had to bring my kids. My son was playing nicely on the floor but my daughter was not I was bouncing her on my stomach while getting a cleaning done. For one the hygienist was patient with me and was helping all she could to help my daughter stop crying and second once the receptionist realized what was going on offered to help with my daughter and she ended up falling asleep on one of the receptionist. Dr Arakelian is great! I used to hate having fillings done but he's quick and does a really good, thorough job. He's also extremely transparent with his pricing and is good at explaining what he's doing both before and during any procedures. I have been a patient of the Church Street dental office for more than thirty years. I have found Dr. Karl to be a man of great expertise, kindness and compassion. The dental and office staff are very professional, and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Dr. Karl and staff do an excellent job of explaining needed work and give realistic expectations. Procedures I have had done include cleanings, x-rays, crowns, restorations and night guards fittings. Having no outside dental insurance, I participate in the Church Street Dental Plan and believe it is a great value. This is very important, as dental hygiene is key to over-all health. I was referred to Dr. Arakelian and I couldn't be any happier. Everyone on his staff is extremly professional and focused on patient satisfaction. Here are a couple of examples. On one of my visits I had my 4 year old daughter with me. While in his chair his staff kept her occupied (drawing, coloring and chatting with her) and if she needed to see me they let her walk right in. Another one is my family was leaving for Disney World on early Sunday morning. I had an issue that needed attention before we left. I called the office at 4:30 on Thursday evening hoping I could get into see Dr. Karl. He was leaving for the night and had personal plans the next day and wouldn't be in the office. Needless to say I was disappointed because we were leaving Sunday morning and his office is closed on the weekend. After being put on hold for a couple seconds. I was told that Dr. Karl would call or text me first thing Friday morning (his personal day) to meet me at the office. I don't think there are that many professionals in any field that would delay some of their personal time for patients/clients. As a 50 something year old, caffeine & red wine have taken a toll on my teeth. Dr. Karl suggested a teeth whitening treatment that would bring back my pearly whites! Having had braces in my early 20's I was a bit apprehensive knowing I would have to have impressions made. The staff was aware and made me feel very comfortable. I was worried for nothing! There is not doubt in my mind that Karl Arakelian is the absolute best for your Dental needs. I came to Karl with a broken tooth that another dentist had performed a root canal on. I had concerns about the tooths viability and had no confidence in a quick resolution. Karl was wonderful - he assessed the situation and quickly decided I needed a Crown. He prepared the tooth for the crown painlessly and used digital pictures to send my needs to a lab. Nine days later he cemented in the permanent crown. He is professional, explains things so you can understand them and most of all is very patient oriented and gives you the confidence you need. All of the staff members are professional and treat you with respect from your first phone call and every office visit. They are friendly and pleasant and answer all of your questions.
