Dr. Juan B Espinosa Pacc

My mother was being treated by Dr., Espinosa for over 30 years. She is now 85 years old home-bound .He has been prescribing her medication over the phone via Telehealth for the past three years, Now the office manager has told us that he will not refill her prescriptions without her coming to the office. That this insurance company will no longer pay for telehealth visits. I called the insurance company and they said this is NOT true, My mother refuses to leave the house due to her extreme phobias and Dr. Espinosa was treating her for that. The office manager refused to give us a telehealth visit and told me to find a new doctor. I asked if the doctor would prescribe one more month of medication until we can find a doctor. The office manager said that he would not as she takes a controlled substance?" So What? Now my mother will be left without the medication that keeps her stable and end up back in the hospital. When I told this to Dr. Espinosa's manager she hung up the phone.

My brother was in the psychiatric wing of Memorial Regional Hospital after a nervous breakdown and threatening suicide. I called and faxed multiple times trying to talk to his doctor, Dr. Espinosa. I wanted to understand why he was keeping my brother on the same meds that he'd been on and were not effective, resulting in him being sent to the hospital twice in one month. He never called me back despite my leaving messages at the hospital and his office. The staff told me that they don't believe he reads his faxes and in coded language indicated that he did not listen to the staff who actually dealt with the patients. The whole experience indicates negligence and I am disgusted that he would treat a mentally ill person or his family so awfully.

Terrible. Does not listen to how you feel, no empathy as a doctor. Told him I didn’t like how I was feeling on medication/ being depressed and told me it’s just side effects and that i had to take it or else i would get sick again. Invega medication ruined my life for about a year. Just now starting to slowly recover.

Mi nombre es Beatriz Wy Llevo mas de dos años en tratamiento con el Dr.Espinosa y me parece un excelente medico. Su tratamiento me ha servido cantidades y lo recomiendo a ojo cerrado. Es muy humano ante todo y un gran ser humano.Te escucha y te asesora y te empieza en un tratamiendo de acuerdo a lo que necesites. Lo maximo en doctores.Sus secretarias son excelentes y te ayudan en lo que necesites.

My Mom went to DR in 2010 , and the psychiatry drastically changed her medications, She was as bad that even could recognize places or family. Doctor Espinosa mix and match different medications with patience until get her mentally equilibrated. I respect the comments for people that prefer a good secretary or a better office which is ideal, however to be honest the quality of this professional has covered any other minor deficiencies. I thanked God because give this doctor wisdom in 7 years.

I came to Doctor Espinoza with postraumatic stress disorder and severe depression. His caring approach and precise prescription provided me the opportunity to go back to continue with my life and a healthier well being . He is a very caring doctor . I highly recommend him

Horrible office call to make an appointment and the staff is so rude , that I change my mind ,stay away from that place ,

This doctor will give you 15 min, no more than 20 for your appointment. He's completely quit, doesn't offer any insight and the stuff is very rude, especially the secretary.
