WORST PLACE EVER! they lied saying i did a no call no show & wouldn’t let me back when i need my medications. WOULDN'T RECOMMEND COMING HERE ????????.

Disgusted and disappointed! The condition being treated for causes severe pain and anxiety and now this office decides to "dismiss" a patient after 4 years and being the prescriber of humira (a drug that requires constant monitoring). The office staff pretty much told me it's bc the insurance is medicaid! Discrimination at its best!

Sarah refused to check in my biracial child for being 2 minutes late. When I offered to send an electronic copy of her insurance card, it was again refused. Sarah had a disgusting attitude, which appeared to be more discriminatory than anything else as she only spoke in annoyance with my family and no one else. I’ll also be reporting them to the attorney general for this.

Great office! Amazing staff!

The office staff are horrendous at best. Schwartz himself appears to only be in it for the money. Routinely 2 hours late to the first appointment of the day. Patient care seems not to be on the priority list there. A special callout to the worst of them- Karen. Karen spent over a month rudely insisting that she does not have to submit pre-authorizations to insurance for pricey biologics and- in fact- they only do it as a COURTESY to their patients. If you’re on a biologic- you know that’s not how that works. Karen’s incompetence resulted in a full month lapse in coverage for a systemic medication needed to treat a severe chronic condition. Of course the condition flared in the absence of the medication and required steroid intervention to take the flare down. That’s the level of patient “care” you can expect to receive. I followed Dr Singer to this practice and eventually he retired. Can’t say enough about him. Now I am seen by K Royston NP who is extremely thorough, professional and friendly. Happy with the care I receive when at the office.

My husband and I have left Dr. Schwartz after 10 years of appreciating the care of PA Jordan who moved out of state. Aside from her expertise and carefulness, we found virtually all of the the administrative staff to be discourteous, rushed, and not careful in their work. The other medical professionals were not impressive either.

Whoever talked on the phone had a bad tone, as if I was adding her trouble or something but all I needed was just a simple appointment with the doctor. Very NOT kind to do this to patients who are already suffering. She sounds like she’s the big boss, she shouldn’t be handling phone calls

The lady who answers phone calls(scheduling appointment) sounds really rude. I never expect her to be welcoming but at least no need to give bad attitude to strange patients. I can’t believe she actually yelled for my info while I was just trying to schedule an appointment

I have seen a total of five dermatologists. Today, I had an appointment with Maura. She was the best of the best….absolutely exceptional. She examined me more thoroughly than I have ever been examined for my skin condition. She was the consummate professional while making me very comfortable. I was 100% delighted with my visit, and Maura—and the entire practice—have my highest recommendation.

Absolutely terrible Doctor with no manners to his patients. I would not recommend him at all.

Alison is so amazing! I travel about 2 hours to this office just to see her. She’s been my dermatologist for over 10 years and TRULY listened when it seemed like no doctor would or even cared. The office staff is so nice. 1st time here and love it

I missed an appointment. When I called after the fact I was told that the PA would have to be asked if she would continue to see me. I was told they would call back. After three days I called again and was told I owed $25 for a no show, the PA still had to be asked, and don't even try to avoid the $25 fee and it was my fault. I hung up on the rude office manager and will go too a different Dermatologist.

1st appointment today. Staff is pleasant and efficient. Dorothy Starling treated me. Explained everything, very personable. In and out in 45 minutes.

Before, not pleasant experience with gentleman doc and this office. Recently (Years later), I returned with emergency. Got hooked up with Ms Allison K.. and I've been back multiple times since for other things! She's helped me when other doctors couldn't. She listens, pays attention tracking treatment and options. Dr Schwartz is an incompetent hack. He somehow managed to leave me on antibiotics for ACNE for over a year, through multiple check up appointments, which my GI tract has never fully recovered from. It took me almost a decade to learn that not all dermatologists are as greedy and ineffectual as Dr. Schwartz. Visit at your own risk.

If you ever want to talk to someone, this isn't the right office for you! I've been receiving calls from my insurance company stating that they need more forms filled out to get me my medication, and that they've also reached out to the office for the forms. I'll leave messages stating what needs to go to the insurance company, and what they need to fill out. I've been leaving them messages trying to get this resolved for over 2 months now! I've talked to a person on the phone ONCE during that time. Even if you ask them to call you back on the message, they never will. The ONLY reason I even still go to this office is because of Dr. Singer, who has been seeing me for over 20 years and I've never had a bad experience with him. Once he closed down his own practice and came here for one day per week, it's been nothing but headaches. Recently left this office due to poor staff. The nurses made large, consistent errors regarding blood work. Instead of correcting the issue after the first time they continued to make the same paper work mistakes for 4 of the 5 months I was on the medication. Then would lie to the PA stating I made the error and I didnt want to drive into the office to personally take a piss test when the blood work was supposed to reflect these results. This continued for 3 months. When I called and asked for the document to be corrected they gave attitude and would argue instead of just simply changing the paper work. To make matters worse the PA continuously sided with the incompetent nurses. If you require taking Accutane do not use this office as they lack the professional skills necessary to streamline this process. Today when I called to change offices the receptionist was eating. Dr Schwartz would not remove my my moles unless I made another appointment which would be 4 months from now. The Nurse Practitioners are amazing. They are the best team dermatologists I’ve ever seen. They truly work in tandem and if your practitioner is out another one will help. They are efficient, knowledgeable and treat a wide range of skin issues, types and complexions. Let them know what you have issues with and ask for solutions. They will offer different treatments based on efficacy and what you’re interested in. I’m not sure how much cosmetic dermatology is done here as I went for clinical treatments but call and ask first if you’re looking for Botox etc. A wide range of insurance is accepted except straight Medicaid (must be a managed care program like FidelisCare under Medicaid to be accepted). If you receive a separate bill it is the portion your insurance doesn’t cover and needs to be paid out of pocket but usual a few weeks after you’ll receive the bill, not immediately. Beyond that, the PA questioned my diagnosis and eluded that I made up a very visible skin discoloration. Then, instead of recognizing it as one-time situation, she suggested it was an entirely new disease or possibly cancer. These were totally inappropriate suggestions just trying to have me come back multiple times over the next few months. It was insane - do not use this practice.

Complete waste of time and money! I mean the PA walks in with a diagnosis! I meant at least pretend to look at my skin! She diagnosed me with drying skin due to too much showers and aging! I’m 30! Smh! I’m out of pocket $110.00 and my skin is still acting up. Hoping I can find someone who cares and can help soon.

Just got off the phone with the nurses office here and the nurse told me that I had 2 no call no show appointments and then decided to give me an attitude on the phone. This Dr. office sucks in keeping up with schedules. My simple advice is to schedule less appointments so that you can keep it on time. Waiting for more than an hour is not acceptable in any office unless there is an emergency but on my appointment day there was no emergency confirmed with receptionist.

Really great office. I see the PA Alison Kortz - she's fantastic! The nurses and office staff are always very helpful and welcoming.

Amazing doctor! I never wait more than 5 minutes in the waiting room. Once I got my first appointment they take you either that week or next day. He definitely knows his stuff and the staff are so friendly.

Awesome clinician, and a great person. Takes all the time I need, answers all questions. Highly recommended.

I have been visiting Dorothy Starling, PA over the last month and I couldn't be more impressed by her level of treatment, professionalism, bedside manner, and her overall incredible personality. She is fantastic and highly recommended.

I had an appointment with Dr. Schwartz a few months ago. His staff were friendly and professional, but Dr. Schwartz was condescending. I felt like I was not listened to and the appointment felt very rushed. I canceled my follow-up appointment with him to find someone else.

If I could give NO Stars I would. The most unprofessional office I've ever been in. So me being a women of color thought that seeing Dorathy Starling would benefit me and my pores ???? BOY Was I WRONG, my face is actually doing worse! & when I called to speak to MY DERMATOLOGIST they told me that I couldn't and that a nurse could me. So I then proceeded to tell them that a nurse on the phone earlier in the week recommend that I use differin gel and clindamycin lotion in the same day. One in the morning one in the evening. I called to tell them my face was peeling burning and red and they proceeded to tell me to keep using the products ????????????‍♀️ WHAT?!!! If I'm telling you what there doing and your recommendation is to keep using it, I don't wanna talk to you. Been a faithful patient for @15 years despite my consistent long waits for appts, extremely poor customer service and basic courtesy and friendliness by his phone/reception staff, limited and poor communication skills from him, what seemed like rushed and not very thorough exams and then his practice goes and sends me a letter in the mail that I'm kicked out if the practice for not rescheduling a follow up appt! Frankly quite outrageous and offensive for someone who always showed on time, paid on time for service and never raised any concerns. Also ironic that it was due to me not rescheduling an appt, not because I didn't show for one. Considering I work days and he is only able to perform the follow up service one day a week, how shocking that I wasn't able to fit it in on their demands. Also ironic that the letter to "kick me out" of their practice was dated same day I called asking to have my records transferred. I liked Kimberly Mills, who is no longer there. I disliked Karen Royston. I went in with a staph infection that had spread and she told me that I can't spread it when applying the medication and when washing my face. This does not match what I have read online (yes I know that's questionable) or what has appeared to happen to me) and she seemed to be discussing my facial break-out as though I had adult acne. However, this was not normal for me, and she was not receptive to hearing this or listening to me. I will make sure to see somebody different there. The wait time isn’t too bad for this place. The staff is ok, about average. Dr Schwartz and the nurses are really nice and did a great job. I had a mole biopsied and then had to have it removed because it was abnormal and I didn’t feel a thing during either procedure. They seem to really know what they’re doing. Me and my parents all see him and are happy with the service. I was reading a lot of the negative reviews on here and the ones I saw were all about the other doctors and staff behind the desk, which doesn’t seem fair that Dr Schwartz is receiving bad reviews for things that have nothing to do with him. Dr. Schwartz was rude and impatient with my 95 year old father. His PA Karen misdiagnosed a simple athletes rash as something much more serious. I would never send anyone to this practice.

Dr. Schwartz is exceptional as a dermatologist: knowledgeable, capable and considerate. I had a cyst removed today and he was kind, considerate and very professional. I recommend him highly as he has treated my problems effectively. You can't lose making him your dermatologist!

Rude and disrespectful receptionist. I wouldn't send an enemy to their practice. She continuously cut me off and it was just an unpleasant experience. Can't even imagine what an actual visit would of been like. Unfortunate you must give any star at all.

Very unprofessional. I seen Kimberly for a problem with my daughters hand. She diagnosed the problem and when I asked what it was exactly she told me to go home a research it. Isn't that her job? I am a doctor, and Kimberly S. Mills, PA, is the most inept and dishonest person I have met in the medical profession. I had come in for a regular check up. She noticed a wart on my face. One visit lasted exactly 80 seconds in which she billed a 99213 ($75). It is literally impossible to bill that high level of service for a non-doctor in 80 seconds. Especially without asking a single history question. Her 'exam' was a 3 second glance at my face. 40 seconds of this visit was her yelling at me - I've never been treated like that in my life. I've had the worst experience in my life!! I went there twice the first time they tryed to help with my psoriasis and then from there once the medication was not working it went down hill! I waited over 1 hour and 45 minutes to be called. The second prescription they sent in was not covered by insurance so the pharmacy said I would need to pay 671.25 a month!!!! When I called they said it can't be that much and they were not able to give me more samples! So I decided to drive the extra half hour to the next demotologist . I called this office to get my medica records sent to the new place and they said they were short handed so it wouldn't be done anytime soon! That is not acceptable!! I talked to a manger named penny and she was the most disrespectful person I've ever made contact with!!! Office was not responsive to a problem that developed during treatment.

After making an appointment here and reading the reviews after I was very afraid I was going to be waiting over an hour to be seen, seeing I was already going to be late for work. Luckily I didn't wait long. After filling out the new patient papers and handing them in I waited maybe 5 mins or less. I had to have a mole removed from a very awkward place and the assistant Kimberly made the whole process less awkward and I felt comfortable. Did not feel a thing. Would have given 5 stars if it weren't for the reception staff. They were loud and obnoxious while clients were sitting there waiting. Almost close to yelling and not really talking about appropriate content. Also feel like they are a little rude and not very happy to be working there. I only went to Dr. Schwartz for a simple procedure, but thought he was great. The wait was short (about 10-15 minutes at each appointment), perhaps this was because my appointments were all early in the morning. Everyone was very professional, the doctor himself was nice and inspired confidence, I felt comfortable and well-treated, and the procedure went very smoothly. I would definitely recommend him to others.

Went in because I'm 61 and fair skinned. The items I pointed out were nothing. Then he saw something on my face and he asked about it. I couldn't tell him the history of it because I never noticed it. He said it was potentially pre-cancerous and he removed it. Followup was scheduled.
