Absolutely invaluable to me! I live in Louisville and have Dr. John Huber as a primary oncologist. I have been to seen Dr. Berlin a few times over the years for a second opinion and feel like I have two of the best in cancer care. Dr. Huber isn’t afraid to admit when he wants to have someone else look at the situation and Dr. Berlin was his teacher. In addition, Vanderbilt is a teaching hospital so every time I go I’m amazed to hear what could prolong my life. His incompetence and general lack of communication with his “team” killed my husband before cancer could. Self-admitted mistakes were followed by hollow promises that things would get better. I beg of you to avoid this doctor and the VICC if you care about your own health or the life of someone you love.

Dr. Berlin was my father’s second opinion at Vanderbilt. At one of the darkest times, with a stage 4 colon cancer prognosis, Dr. Berlin’s expertise and care were invaluable. Thank you for making my dad laugh, and for getting him on the treatment that helped him. Thank you!!

Dr. Berlin walks on water. My mother in law is alive today because of this brilliant, compassionate doctor.

I can not recommend Dr. Berlin more highly. Me, and my family, would not have had the same quality of care and compassion anywhere else.

My husband died due to his lack of competence and oversight. Please avoid this “physician” at all costs.

The only recommendation that I will give is, if you care about yourself or loved one, is to avoid this doctor. I have shared with Dr. Berlin that I will regret to my dying day selecting him to treat my husband for pancreatic cancer. Repeated mistakes, followed by apologies and promises that things would get better, were our experience with this physician, his practice and the hospital where my husband died. I plead with you to avoid seeking treatment from this physician so that you will not repeat the experience I had with my beloved husband. He is a disgrace.

I will regret to the day I die selecting Dr. Jordan Berlin to treat my husband. In the brief time, he was being treated by Dr. Berlin (there was no care involved), my husband declined rapidly. In the end, it was not pancreatic cancer that killed my husband, but lapses in basic treatment protocol. Repeated apologies and vows that the care would improve never materialized.
