Mrs. Jonell Young Mahoney

I know this is just a simple post and too many may mean nothing at all, but Dr. Mahoney has been my childrens pediatrician since my oldest was 2 and going on 16, my daughter was seen at birth with her and she is by far the most compassionate and sympathetic and caring Pediatrician and when I needed her the most she pushed above and beyond to help my children when they needed her the most. Amazing as always

Dr Mahoney is the most amazing, sweet and caring doctor. My son has seen her since birth and she is an absolute godsend. The staff is incredible and we love their team.

Dr Mahoney and her staff are all very professional and caring ! I would never change doctors for the simple fact that she loves what she does and it shows . TIAH AND AMBER are always so nice and caring. My son Luis has been coming since his very first doctor appointment and he is awesome with her when he does check ups and visits. he wont sit still for 2 seconds for me but for them he stays , that shows a lot . he doesn't cry when he sees them he is used to them and seems to like them just as much as me , toddlers know... I would definitely recommend her office to anyone . Dr Mahoney and her staff are all very professional and caring ! We were lucky to have found Dr. Mahoney when we moved to the area 10 years ago. Her practice was much smaller then but even with the growth of her office and staff we have always been happy with the care and service we have received from everyone. Friendly and knowledgeable, always answering the phone and little issues with follow ups. Little wait time. Dr Mahoney herself has been a great doctor to our child that has several issues, including developmental delays, always taking her time with him and us and always making him feel important. She is truly a gem to her profession.

This is the best pediatric practice. Then came highly recommended by a friend so with my first child we started seeing the doctors here. Dr. Mahoney most of the time personally answers the after-hours phone and patiently listens to all my crazy neurotic concerns as a first time mother, she addresses and validated all my feelings and concerns. Dr. Celia Garcia Perez is wonderful as is dr. Lilly Weidrich. I never wait very long to be seen and the waiting room is immaculate and beautifully decorated, as are the exam rooms and the entire practice. The nurses are all very helpful and will help you over the phone if you have any questions and all front desk staff are extremely polite and helpful. Have been coming to Dr mahoneys office for 3-4 years now with both my girls and love them and the staff. They treat my girls with love and care and have always resolved any sickness or concerns i had with my little ones. My son has been a patient with Dr. Mahoney since he was an infant and now he is 7. She is an amazing Physician. It does not matter who you are or what type of insurance you have, she is simply there to HELP and HEAL children. I've also seen Dr. Garcia and she is also an extremely caring doctor. Dr. Mahoney is wonderful. My son has seen her on multiple occasions for emergency visits. She is very kind, explains the treatment plan well, and has a very calming demeanor. She addresses our questions and concerns without judgement. We are lucky to have had her taking care of our son.

Definitely the most professional, sensitive, responsive, friendly pediatric medical experience i have ever experienced. I will recommend Dr. Mahoney every time.

We have been seeing Dr. Mahoney since my children were born 19 years ago...we absolutely love her. She never rushes us and really listens. We feel totally confident in her detailed diagnostics...most doctors seem to guess but she is so thorough we always feel confident. Her office staff is fantastic as well...I highly recommend her practice, I wish she could be our primary doctor...if only we could find a primary care physician for ourselves with the knowledge and bedside manner as Dr. Mahoney.

If you need a real doctor to help and be caring after hours when your child is truly sick she's not the one for you. She threw us out of her office because we called her after hours. She was nasty! I would never recommend this doctor to anyone. Especially since we love our kids and we need someone To be available at all times.

Dr Mahoney is the most compassionate and caring doctor. Our family is well pleased with the care and the staff cares too therefore, making the office visits pleasurable every time.

Dr. Mahoney is honest and upfront, we trust her with all 3 of our precious gifts from God. We would not trust anyone else with our children they love Dr. Mahoney and all their staff.

We have seven children and love her and her staff. Dr. Mahoney will take time to answer everything . She will even take time out to address another of my child's needs that the appointment is not for. This office knows how to treat a large family ... I ONLY bring my children to Dr. Mahoney's office. She is Amazing! I could't trust anybody else with the well being of my kids. The other doctors in the office are wonderful as well. She is genuinely caring and her knowledge and wit are impeccable. I live 45 mintues away and it's worth every minute of that drive to get there because I know we will receive the BEST care! I really don't know how this women is still a Doctor. I really hope they don't renew her license in 2015. She's s not very knowledgeable in Children's Health. She scares children by telling them that they probably have diabetes and their legs will have to be cut off if they don't take care of themselves. That is the first thing she says before even asking for blood tests to be done. Where does she even get the idea to say those things in front of a little girl? Instead of having a private conversation with the child's parents as to what they are expected to do, she just has no sympathy whatsoever; like seriously, how many people do you know, that have diabetes, have had there legs removed? There is absolutely no need for her negativity and her unprofessionalism. And instead of apologizing, she just replies with a "I don't think I should be treating your child". Well, YOUR RIGHT! YOU SHOULDN'T BE TREATING ANY CHILD. AND, when you ask to pick up all medical records, make sure they don't document that "You did not follow instructions given by "the doctor"., correct them and let them know that it was because of her unprofessionalism and lack of empathy. Our family loves Dr. Mahoney - she is thorough, kind and excellent with the kids. Her staff is incredible too.
