Dr. Banwarth is the best dr. I have ever seen he replaced both my hips and they did great. He is helping me with knee pain. I would give him more that 5 stars.

He left me paralyzed on left THR as I was waking up i heard him say "I'm so sorry. I am so sorry". With the nerve damage to my sciatic palsy with atrophy fhe nerve damage causes a never ending pain. I no longer have the use of my toes, foot and hamstring the entire leg minus the thigh. Balance permanently damaged as well. He never told me why he was sorry as he would never speak to me on why my leg was shriviling and the shocks from the damage is continuing going on 8 years now. He told me to wait 2 years which ironically is also the statute of limitations for any possible litigation. Not only is the skin different now. My toes are curled the leg atophied to 7 inches. I can only feel my thigh on that leg. The bones are also affected and potential to break and not heal from the nerve damage effects. I went to him i was an athlete in the best physical condition of my life at that time. Only 37 years of age. Low BMI muscular, fit and loved my job and working my fathers farm as well then later ny dads care taker He left me on that table basically and absolutely left me in a state of shock of the tremendous amount of damage he left me with and did not once try to help. When I asked about physical therapy he denied me of this. My insurance would absolutely cover this and not only was I a total hip replacement I was left paralyzed on the left side he also did the right hip and from the looks of the faces from other surgeons they are not at all impressed with his "work". Thank God in Heaven for being my Savior to help me thru the incredibly challenging life this surgeon left me in as I could not have made it this far without the Lord because the surgeon Christopher Jon Banwart fails at his profession. Your devastating error is one thing but your absolute lack of care following is what makes you sir far worse. Never allow anyone in this group to touch you or your family! You cannot research these surgeons by reviews. Go to propublica.org as they have been investigating all drs for years now and have a guide to assist in finding surgeons. Unfortunately the surgeons such as Jon have loopholes such as some hospitals do not report the proper name of the acting surgeon and or list with multiple names. It is bananas what you find out from investigative reporters and lawyers. It is rather unerving how even hospitals and nurses notes are filled with false and or misleading information. The horrible mistakes made by this man is bad enough but it was his hiding from it and not going to an immediate plan B to help the patient even denying physical therapy The staff was just as guilty as well as nurses and the hospital. Find another surgeon! Please! Please do not let anyone be injured by this man and their group

I recently had a knee revision on 11/8. Before the surgery at a scheduled appointment he determined that the previous replacement was worn out and metal to metal. He was very concerned that there might be infection and checked the fluid twice to make sure there was no infection before surgery. I feel very comfortable recommending Dr. Banwart for his services, the surgery went very well and I have returned to work in only six weeks after surgery. Dr. Banwart performed revision surgery on me 11/8/18. The surgery went very well and I am already back to work with some restrictions, and I am feeling great!!

Dr Banwart did a total hip replacement for me in April 2010 and a revision the following year. I had a great experience and recovered quickly. I felt blessed to have him for my surgeon and his wife, Lynda is great at giving knee injections:)

Dr Banwart and staff are super. No problems. Felt I was in good hands

Dr. Banwart had been telling me for some time that I needed knee replacement because the arthritis was so bad in my knees, but more severe in one. After experiencing so much pain that I groaned with every step I took, I was finally convinced that I just had to get it done. I had surgery a week ago and have done extremely well. Dr. Banwart is a good surgeon and a very nice doctor who takes time to talk to explain procedures, and to ask for any concerns you might have.

I woke up from surgery paralyzed and in intense nerve damage pain. He just said over and I am so sorry. I am so sorry. He did not treat the huge mistake which would have made a huge difference. He ignored it completely. Kept telling me to wait 2 weeks each apt. Then he said wait 2 years! Statute of limitations. .. I now have incomplete paralysis and chronic regional pain syndrome along with other damagestuff as your body is constantly trying to over compensate for the damage done. More

Very inept. Lost my tests and records; confused me with seeing another doctor. Dr. himself stated to me contradictory diagnosis. Saw only nurses and PAs. Spent no more than a total of 5 minutes with the doctor himself over a 5 month period. He was never available for explanations or questions - everything was done through his nurses - generally after I had to call and ask. When I asked for clarification, their responses were always, I don't know. That's just what he said to tell you. Horrible
