Dr Warner was an excellent urologist. He did surgery on my husband when he had kidney cancer 20 years ago.. He has done follow-ups every year since. My husband had an appointment for his annual visit yesterday. He never received a confirmation call or text so I advised him to call the office before we left Murfreesboro to drive to west Nashville. No answer. After calling St Thomas West, we were informed he had retired. I am very disappointed that there was no contact made to his patients to inform them. I have worked in the dental field for 40 yrs and know that it is ethical to notify your patients when you sell a practice or retire. I’m just glad we didn’t make the trip. Dr. John Warner diagnosed my prostate cancer when I was 50. He was compassionate, informative, and walked me through treatments available. I am 14 years cancer free and have been around to see my daughter get married and provide care for my elderly mother! Both which have meant the world to me. Friendly, explains what he's doing, gentle. Listens to you well & let's you take your time.

I was diagnosed with Renal kidney cancer. Dr. Warner walked my wife and I through what the process would be in detail. He was kind, informative, and patient with us from start to finish. His surgery saved my life! He will always be my hero. I am now 10 year cancer free. I recently went for check up and decided I should share this.

My husband is a patient of Dr. Warner. He had two strokes and his colon ruptured resulting in a colostomy bag. Needless to say he has lots of medical concerns. Dr. Warner is most patient and kind with my husband. He takes the time to listen to our concerns and explains medical procedures in a manner in which we can understand. We are thankful to have him!

Listens, responds, compassionate, orderly in approach, patient focused but not at the expense of his clinical wisdom and experience.

Front office got me in without any fuss. Dr Warner listened to my complaints and impressed me with his knowledge and judgement. No need for unnecessary testing. It turned out all he give was advice. No prescriptions or surgery needed. How refreshing is that!
