Dr. John M. Walker changed my life! He's the first physician who actually took the time to assess my medicinal regimen and make the necessary corrections for my overall better health and well being. I highly recommend Dr. Walker to anyone seeking a healthier way of life.

I came to Dr Walker with a vertebrae that was literally pinching my spinal cord to the point of near paralysis. The pain was excruciating. I came fresh from an IU neurologist, with xrays and all. Dr Walker REFUSED to give me anything for pain. He left me with nothing. I literally had to call his office and argue with the nurse for Tramadol, a non narcotic pain reliever. I took two, they did nothing, I did not even bother to call back. Their office personnel screwed up the insurance pre approval on a couple of my scripts, so I had to pay out of pocket for them. I called back and they assured me the issue was resolved and the proper authorization had been sent. Next trip to pharmacy, paperwork still wrong, still paid out of pocket. Again, no point in calling back. I am not a pill popper. I am not a person who fishes for doctors. My regular doctor moved out of state. I took up with this clown because he was actually recommended to me by someone. At the time I went in to him, I was on BP meds and an arthritis med, also a diet med. So, the point is that I wasn’t hassling him for painkillers to add to the list. I have since found another doctor with IU, who removed half the meds I was on. I feel great! My back had to heal on its own, and I just had to deal with the pain. Bottom line is that I would not take my dog to this guy. sorry he is leaving iu health will be missed

I have been seeing Dr. Walker for about 24 years, I feel like we are friends and he knows what specialist to refer a person too since over the years I think I have been sent to the very best specialists by Dr. Walker. He has a good knowledge of medicine and has kept me healthy over all of these years.

Always checks any problems that are voiced. Along with anything that I've had in the past. Very thorough and his staff has been very professional. Can't go wrong here.
