John Raymond Adams

Adams is a fine doctor with a good manner. Very knowledgeable and friendly. He has a far-flung practice with a lot of PA support, which is the new normal I guess. Not ideal, but hey that's life. Everyone I've worked with in that enterprise is competent and polite. I'm still on board and have no plans to change.

Dr John Adams was very knowledgeable and I felt very confident in his assessment and counsel. The staff was very big on patient education and I felt empowered as well as pleased in having my long term skin issue resolved. 5-Star friendly staff

Great doctor and friendly staff members! Had a Mohs procedure and they gave me lunch, yummy snacks and had movies for me to watch. Had my surgery and the repair all in the same day and in their office. They even called me later that day to see how I was doing. I love coming to this office and highly recommend them!

Very nice doctor and staff. However, the doctor does not wear a face mask. This made us super uncomfortable as we are in the midst of the COVID pandemic and my daughter had to take her face mask off to have her acne assessed. If you are concerned about COVID I would look elsewhere, if you aren’t concerned they seemed knowledgeable and were kind.

I would NEVER go to this place! The NP Breann spent 5 minutes with us, said my daughter had molluscum and turned us in to Social Services for child sex abuse! Without looking at the nodules with a magnifier, not using any light or taking a biopsy! We went to a pediatrician dermatologist in KC and it was biopsied. It was NOT molluscum, nor was it a STD - DUH! Then when trying to speak to Dr. Adams, no returned call! My spouse is a surgeon and he doesn't automatically diagnose people without throughly looking into all medical possibilities! Hopefully, cancer isn't missed. Tina Hachem

Until masks are worn by the staff and patients, temperatures taken upon entering and other appropriate spacing precautions are taken to combat the Covid Virus, I, as an at risk individual will not be returning to this office for my scheduled 6 month skin check. I found the behaviors at the practice totally irresponsible for our current situation.

They always take great care of me and have done an amazing job with my skin. They are great at what they do.

Advanced Dermatology is a great office. I would highly recommend them to anyone. I never personally got to meet Dr. Adams, but I have had appointments with both Amy and April, and they are beyond amazing. Not to mention the nurses are very friendly and you can tell they really love to educate their patients. Overall a great place to go!

The front office is very welcoming and helpful. The nurses are so friendly and make you feel like family and really . The NP's April and Amy are very caring and kind. They really spend the time to get to know you and care about making you better. Dr. Adams is legendary when it comes to diagnosing skin cancers and his Mohs micrographic surgery. I would highly recommend them!
