Met with her the first time today. She is an incredibly blunt woman which can definitely come off as rude, however I think this is just a side effect of a doctor who thinks critically not emotionally. I did feel like the entire process was rushed and had to push a bit to get my concerns heard but once out in the air Dr. Lister did a relatively good job validating my concerns. She ordered blood work, did a pap smear and prescribed new medication. Are there warmer gynecologists out there, absolutely, but is she straightforward and gets the job done? Yes. Don't go in expecting a soothing presence, just expect to get at the very least your regular exams done and questions answered. Also totally ok to switch doctors down the road too. I'm going back in two weeks. I'll update then.

Left a positive review at first, but now I retract it. I developed complications from my colposcopy..fever and chills. She refused to treat me, and said that cervix inflammation was completely normal. She wasn’t going to treat this either. It was a fight trying to get anyone to treat the infection, but fortunately, a midwife at the practice helped me. She became rude when questioned, this doctor. Passed off my concerns and didn’t listen. I don’t recommend her.

Dr.Lister was extremely rude. Was extremely pushy about getting an IUD after I said that I don't want one (I use other non hormonal birth control as my body doesnt do well with hormones and due to my chronic illnesses an IUD would be pretty dangerous). She also refused to order any tests at all to see why I am in so much pain however she told me that all of the tests my regular doctor had ordered previously were fine and all of my other doctors were wrong about all of my conditions (even the chronic ones that I was not seeing her for and are not in her specialty) and that she was correct in saying that im fine and I just need to deal with it and try more. She told me that this awful pain is normal and that every woman deals with it without doing any diagnostic tests even though at least 3 other medical professionals I've seen have told me otherwise. 0 out of 10 would not recommend extremely rude, full of herself, and passive of concerns. There is definitely a God complex going on here.

She was amazing. She took my concerns seriously and did every test she thought was beneficial to me. I'd highly recommend her.
