My experience with Dr Woan for my mother's neurological problems was wonderful! When my mother was diagnosed with an incurable neurological disease in her 70's ... Dr Woan was a lifesaver! She was caring, kind, and considerate of my mother and me at all times, and took great care to examine her, listen to how she felt; and prescribed what can only be the very best medications to stop her involuntary movements, and give her a great quality of life! She listened to us about the effectiveness and dosage of each of the medications my mother was prescibed and carefully adjusted each one until my mother felt wonderful; and had virtually no extra movement at all; and therefore was able to not only function great throughout the day, but also sleep soundly and restfully thru the nite! Dr Woan and her staff were always helpful, kind, caring and considerate to her, (and me) and made sure her prescrptions were prescibed on time and kept up to date . They answered all my and my mother's questions promptly and my mother was always happy to go there and loved seeing Dr Woan and her staff ! I cannot even describe, the sad and debilitating condition my mother would have lived and died a very short time in ... if not for Dr Woan's knowledge, experience, expertise, and compassion for, people who have this disease. She made it possible for my mom to live a very happy, long life (10+ years more) and with very little effects of the disease. I thank the Lord, for leadng us to Dr Woan and her staff and thank Dr Woan again, for the wonderful knowledge, expertise, respect, and care she gave to my mother, as well as her wonderful staff ! Very rude,very unprofessional

Will never forget my first visit, the Dr stared at me up and down like asking why I was there. I've been going to this Dr for over a year but have asked to be referred to another neurologist. My experience with this Dr is majority of the time she doesn't pay attention to anything I tell her because I am being asked the same questions of old medications I no longer take. And when it came to phone appointments she would never call on time yes, I understand it gets busy in the office but to call your patient an hour in half later after their appointment is unacceptable. Dr Woan from Taiwan decades ago, she listen to her patient complain & want to help.

Dr Woan is a wonderful doctor, from Taiwan decades ago , I went to her to have 2nd opinion not have Parkinson D, She said my problem may be If I do not take Lipitor as needed daily, first I do not believed her, turned out yrs later, I was so wrong. & I take daily now. Dr Woan is a wonderful doctor from Taiwan decades ago, I want to her for 2nd opinion that I do not have Parkinson D .... I have placed multiple calls during business hours and left messages every time and have received no response from this office! I am struggling with carpal tunnel and was referred by my primary physician, don't waste your time trying to reach out to Dr Woan as they will not respond!

I have been going to dr woan for about 15yrs for my.migraines. almost all the time she is late. I see her 2 times a year. I also see her for migraine shots which I am in and out.. saves me from urgent care and she knows what I need so that is why I will keep going to her. For my migraines and that is it

Absolutely have never been treated so poorly in my entire life by a "professional." She is beyond obscene. She was yelling at me as I tried to describe my child's symptoms. Screamed at me down the hallway after I said I was going elsewhere. Would NEVER recommend this woman to anyone especially if they are truly dealing with a neurological disorder. Her behavior, arrogance, self-entitlement and unprofessionalism will get someone killed one day and she'll be left with a wrongful death suit instead of unhappy patients. Very Very rude staff and doctor. Went to her for migraines and did an MRI but she was obviously angry when she wanted to change my meds on the very fist visit and I told her I wanted to talk to my GP about it first. I called several times to find out the results but never heard back on the MRI.

My experience with Dr. Woan was poor. I’ve had two appointments with her so far. The first appointment was cancelled as she arrived an hour late to her office and had backed up appointments. At the 2nd visit, she arrived 30 minutes late. Her attitude was not friendly and felt very stand off’ish. If she actually cared about my issues, it was impossible to tell due to a lack of empathy. I would not recommend Dr. Woan to anyone until she improves her attitude and can actually arrive on time to work

I have seen Dr Woan twice for a rare genetic disorder I have (was diagnosed in 1986). She was the only option in Tracy CA. Dr Woan is rude, unconcerned with matters at hand, does not listen to the problem as described by the patient (me). Even when I took her a body of research done for 14-doctors on my condition, she glanced title page and discarded. Dr Woan should not be a physician. Her demeanor is very depressing and she left me in worse condition. I am going to an other city to avoid her.

Have seen DR Woan 3 times. A very fine doctor, She has helped me when several others couldn't. She is very pleasant, witty, and and explains conditions when others lack to do so. I highly recommend her.

After seeing several doctors who refused to listen to me when I described my symptoms I finally found Dr. Woan. She was empathetic, patient and seemingly knowledgeable. Because of her treatment I am now sleeping well, no longer having migraines and have had other personal symptoms either cease or get much better. She does seem like her hands are full so you might want to go to your appointment as prepared as possible.

THE WORST DOCTOR TO GO TO! Very unprofessional, very rude, very dumb, from the receptionist to the doctor! I couldn't even believe she was the doctor, she belongs in a nail salon....the Asian ladies that doesn't speak proper English and makes you repeat everything 25 times, and even though I repeated myself she still didn't get it and wrote down everything incorrectly. For example I had told her I was diagnosed with seizures in 2010, in my file she wrote "patient was diagnosed with seizures 19 years ago"...lmao....I was only looking for a new neurologist since I had just recently moved to the area from fremont. Also at the time of my appointment the doctor left the room I thought she is coming back in, but after 25 minutes of waiting alone in the room, the medical assistant walked in and saw I was still waiting. she said I thought you were done. I was already frustrated with doctor, plus waiting for 25 minutes in the room without her saying anything, then I hear this from medical assistant. I said I didn't know where doctor went, so she didn't apologize but said wait let me check. she came back and said the Dr told me she is done with you and is currently with another patient. so I said this is my first visit I can't believe this. she said wait maybe the doctor can come by after she is done if you have any questions. so I decided to wait just to see why she did that, maybe I had missed something, so after another 15 minutes of waiting doctor came by door, said do u need me, without apology and without giving me privacy by at least coming in side the room if she can't close the door. So anyways I told the Dr I didn't know I was done, she said yes you are and left again. next thing I know couple dayz later I get a letter from DMV that my driver license is suspended. I was shocked! I had to appeal in DMV and show proof to let them know the doctor made a mistake and finally got my license back! If I were u I wouldn't both to go here, ur time is valuable and don't waste it with this dumb uneducated person. I only choose her because she is the only neurologist in tracy, but I rather drive far but have a doctor that understands and cares! This Dr. is horrible. I've had the unfortunate luck of dealing with this Dr. for over 5 years now. The manner in which she treats her patients is horrible. I have an epileptic son who suffers bowel incontinence whose treatment she suggested after many medications is to spank him. Spanking is NOT a solution for a medical condition. They wait times there are horrendous. At the beginning of March 2015, we had an appt scheduled for 3 pm. We were not triaged until 4 and Dr. did not come in until 4:45. The girls in reception are very sweet and do their best. In speaking with them they said they do what they can, they try to space the appts out so Dr. can see patients in a timely manner but ultimately it is the Dr. who decides who and how long she will take with a patient. They said I should bring my concerns up with Dr. when she sees my kid. I did. She was offended that I would express my concerns with her. I told her that every visit in her office is worse than the last. That I have never had my kids seen in a timely manner. I commute 45-55 min just to have my kids NOT seen on time. Just as her time is $ I believe my time has a value too. She said that if I have a problem that she can drop my kids as patients. What an awful way to treat people. My kids RX are never refilled on time. To top it off, she has established a no-show fee for patients beginning with $35 for the first no show. Mind you, I have never been late nor missed an appt BUT if you should be late more than 10-15 min. she will not see you and it is considered a no-show. RIDICULOUS!!! I highly suggest that if you are referred to this Dr. you speak with the receptionists first ad ask for a truthful answer regarding this Dr. and her practice. I am a newer patient of Dr. Woan. I saw her a month ago for my chronic migraines (28 years). The appointment with her was okay, but she decreased the dosage of the medicine I've been using for 10 years. I was a little bothered by that, but then again she hasn't been treating me long and I think she's just covering her butt. Then today happened. I called this morning to have my prescriptions refilled since it had been a month and I ran out. I got a call from the receptionist around 2:00 pm saying they were called in, but I'd have to come down to the office and pick one of them up because it had to be in writing. She said they were closed for the day and asked if I had enough to last the weekend, I told her no. She said that they would have someone there until 2:30 if I could get there by then to pick up. Then she told me that I would have to pay $ to get the written prescription from her. I asked why, and she said it was their new policy that just started. I asked if they had this posted or if I could get it in writing. She told me, no there was nothing in writing and the Dr. had left for the day. She said if I didn't pay it she wouldn't give me the prescription. Dr. Woan never told me she was changing her policy when I was there last month, so I would like something, anything, in writing stating the change. Every other fee she has is posted in her office and on the walls in the waiting room.. I don't think that's too much to ask since it's a new fee that I've never had to pay before. I finally gave in because I didn't want to argue and told the receptionist that I'd be there by 2:30 and I'd pay the $. I figured I could get something in writing when I got there. My husband and I raced all the way across town in only 10 minutes to make it on time and we did, but when we got to the counter we were told the prescription was destroyed because I refused to pay the $. The receptionist said she destroyed it because I argued with her about the fee and refused to pay. I didn't refuse to pay it. I just want something stating it's their new fee. They lied to me by telling me I could come pick it up. They told me more than once that the Dr. was no longer there so I couldn't have a new one written. She rudely said, now you'll have to wait until Monday. I begged her to please let me have the prescription because I didn't have anything left and I didn't want to have to go to the ER over the weekend. She didn't care. It looks like the receptionist was trying to make some quick pocket money and when I questioned this fee she ripped up my prescription and now I'm stuck the entire weekend without it until I can call the Dr. back on Monday. Dr. offices are businesses, this one is very poorly run. They are lying to their patients and wasting their time. I would avoid this office. Find one that cares about their patients.
