She never give prescriptions even if the baby have runny nose, cough, she will just send u home with no medication nothing.

She belittles you in every way possible! If you have a concern with your child, and try to explain it to her, she will cut you off and try to make you feel stupid. She won’t listen, she will brush everything off as “normal” she has no sympathy for how the parent is feeling about their own child. Example: I brought my son in because he was complains about back pain, and his urine had a fishy smell to it. First off, i get there and the medical assistant asked me “so does he have a UTI?” All i was thinking is.. “uhh, that’s why i am taking him here to find out...” Finally the doctor comes in and as I’m explaining his symptoms she cuts me off and says he’s pee smells cause he’s eating asparagus... FIRST OFF!! My son has never had a bite of asparagus in his life. Then she try’s to explain to me that urine normally smells fishy. (As if i don’t know how normal urine smells) she finally decides to take a urine sample and have us wait an hour for a damn stick test. Just to tell me it’s all in my head. This is my child! One of the best doctors around. The office is always clean and she always able to see my child at the last minute when needed.

Dr. Novesteras has taken excellent care of me since I was a baby. A couple reviews here have said she looks angry and I am sorry for them because I have never had a negative experence with her. She is always kind and pleasant. Yes I have to admit, wait times when showing up for an appointment can be long, but the quality of the care one recieves from Dr. Novesteras cannot be beaten. I love Helene! She is pays close attention to my children's symptoms and asks lots of questions to make sure she will properly diagnose my child's illness. My kids love her she's very soothing when she checks their temp or ears( my kids always cry,) She always remembers my sons name too The office is always very clean and has toys and books for the little ones to use while we wait. I've never waited to long to be seen and I can usually get same day appointments, which I love! The only thing I would say I to not like is the front desk lady. She's not very friendly and is very curt. Not rude but curt. You will not get any smiles or small talk from her. I love Helene! Never go to this doctor when you ask her question she fight with you and makes you not ask her any question again . All sickness are normal to her even your kids are in a worse situation don't expect any prescription or medicine from her. Worst doctor she always looks angry no smile with her patients.

Expect to be waiting. Everytime ive had an appointment i have waited an hour to be seen..PERIOD! The office and rooms are pretty dirty..i always feel like we will bring home an additional illness when we go there because nothing gwts wiped down, seats are stained up, walls and basebords are filthy and theres a disturbingly dirty bunny she keeps in one of the rooms ontop of the cupbords (cringes) She is smart but she so doesnt listen, at ALL! Hard to get her to listen to concerns..she jumps the gun, cuts you off assumes what your concern is and never actually listens and answers. if u happen to dissagree or have a different view/opinion than hers she gets rude. My premature baby had a lil bit of phlegm in her throat that u could hear rattle when she was breating at times..i wasnt too concerned as she would just cough it up (and not what we went to see her for) she proceeded to beat the living daylights out of my baby on her chest with her palm over and over for several minutes straight saying it will get her to cough it up...but no it didnt..my baby screamed like ive never heard scream in her little life and i broke out in a nervous sweat/panic i just wanted her to stop touching my baby..it was very hard to watch!!!! And i left the office very upset feeling like me and my baby were just traumatized. Looking for new doctor. Oh and the front desk is rude and not always helpful. She will take her time explaining things. I never feel Rushed out of her office. If you call last min for your sick child I've always been able to get her in.

Love the doctor, hate the wait. On average the wait to see the doctor is an hour minimum. Had to switch, with a toddler waiting that long is a no no. if they'd fix I might consider coming back.
