This doctor left the practice without notice and without closing over 100 cases, leaving lots of patients in limbo both in terms of results and billing. As a patient, I gave her the benefit of the doubt more than a couple of times, but if she's still a practicing doctor anywhere, she shouldn't be.

Always been a very cold physician with an attitude. I Just reviewed my past labs that she never went over with me. Turns out I was borderline anemic 2 years ago! Luckily I saw Dr. Li this week who actually listened to my complaints and she sent me to the ER for a blood transfusion. I was severely anemic! They are very quick to get you in and always have short notice availability however doctors at this office are not people friendly and very short when it comes to discussing any concerns you may have. I also had lab work done over a week ago and went to another doctors office and received results and callbacks within 48 hours. Almost 2 weeks have passed and I still have not heard from this doctor regarding labs or not even a follow up just to see how things are going due to my situation and concerns. After 2 visits to this office I will no longer be coming here as I have come to the realization that the primary goal is to get appointments in for billing purposes. I had been going to Physicians of Family Medicine for about 10 years and had good experiences until I crossed paths with Dr. Stirgwolt. I went in for a regular physical and the moment she walked in the door Dr. Stirgwolt was standoffish and had poor bedside manner. When trying to update her on my medical history it was obvious she was not actively listening. When she would make a follow up statement about something I said she would respond with incorrect information. During the physical I had to beg her to give me a breast exam! I always get a breast exam during my physicals, but it was like she wanted to do everything else but touch me. Additionally, I needed a pap smear and she kept trying to push me into a STD test that was not covered by my insurance that I did not want. I kept telling her I did not want it and then she pressured me into getting it. Dr. Stirgwolt has been outstanding for me. She's addressed issues other doctors could not identify and has treated both the symptoms and underlying issues. Her treatment is outstanding. Her assistant nurse is terrific as well. Once you get to know her, her bedside manner and sense of humor is great. This practice is extremely busy, and the front desk staff is difficult. I don't know how she manages to provide such great treatment given her caseload, but I appreciate all she has done for me.

The worse, uncaring pcp I have ever had. Do your research, I highly do not recommend her to anyone. And I ne er write a bad review. This one was a must!

Dr Stirgwolt is an impatient and rude doctor. I was in for a physical and she would not lay one hand on me..as if I were a leper. I tried to talk about menopause and she blew it off. I'm not even sure why she is practicing medicine.

She was patient and considerate! I enjoyed my visit and glad she is my new doctor!!!!!

The care I received from Dr. Stirgwolt was always professional. She spent time with me and addressed my concerns. I have been pleased with her at my primary.

I've been going to Dr. Stirgwolt for a couple of years and have always found her to be very pleasant, knowledgeable, and thorough. She's always been willing to discuss health issues - my own and those of which I simply curious. I highly recommend her!

Came to see her this morning for a crohns flare up. Came in my room with an attitude off the get go. Told me to tell her what was going and and i did. She then looked at me raised her eyebrow and said "and".. In the most annoyed way ever. She was very unprofessional and rude. Everything i said she had a smart remark to. Then i asked her if she had ever delt with patients with crohns and again in a smart way said no not really. So i left to go elsewhere and received proper care. I thought this woman was unnecessarily cold and belittling. She had this very unfriendly, fed up demeanor as soon as she walked into the room and rolled her eyes, sighed and said “...okay” in this annoyed tone when I mentioned I thought I might have an infection. (No idea why...but it seemed like a huge inconvenience to her) She made no effort to learn or understand anything about my medical history and seemed to just want to get me out of the door. When I told her I could not handle a full pelvic exam due to trauma, she refused to test me for the infection which could have been done with a simple non invasive swab, all because I dared not to consent to a full pelvic exam due to mental and physical limits. She seemed very annoyed with me because of this, and I felt belittled and demeaned like my circumstances were somehow not legitimate in her eyes. She left very abruptly after that and I struggled not to burst into tears before I left. Will never, ever see her again...in fact I don’t think I will ever risk seeing anyone other than my PCP at Physicians of Family Medicine because I don’t want to run into people like her again.
