Dr. Jeanne Marie Bennett

I call and left a msg. Jeanne called back and her first question was what insurance I had. she told me to call my insurance company to see if she was covered and if they still covered video sessions. As she continued talking, I interrupted her and said "well I'm local and would you like to know why I called you? She said No it's all pretty much the same. What??? I was stunned! What kind of therapist says that? I have a medical background and I was truly appalled by her nonchalant attitude and lack of concern for someone seeking help. I think she is a DISGRACE to the profession! Thanks Jeanne for all you help, guess I'll go jump off the bridge now... so sad!!!

Well, I didn't get a visit. I called her cell phone number which one can find online, and l left a message. I did not receive a call back. So, I call my PCP's office and requested that they send her a referral--as my PCP is the one who order a neuropsyche eval for me. I received confirmation from my PCP office that they faxed the referral and also left her voicemail. Still I had not heard anything within those two weeks. Today, I call her and got her on the phone. She said she wasn't aware of my voicemails and that she pretty good about staying on top of those. Once I gave her my name--she remembered that my PCP office sent her some paperwork on me. Well, she couldn't talk to me at the time I called her today. So, she took my phone number and said she would call me back after her therapy session--that was at 1000 this morning. Now its 6:35pm. So what can I say? What am I to think? Methinks she doesn't want to work with me--for what reason I don't know. All I can think of is that I live in the wrong zip code in the city.

She no showed my appt. I called her and after a few seconds into our conversation she started slurring her words and using words out of context. It appeared to me that she was impaired and under the influence of something. She offered to diagnose me over the phone then backtracked when I clarified and questioned her ability to do so. I informed her that our conversation was being recorded. I sent the recording to her office manager. I'm not sure of any disciplinary actions.I have proof & witness

Dr. Bennett is awesome! She is caring, compassionate, and knows her "stuff!" She returns her own calls and has helped me tremendously!

My testing for Aspergers took about 5 hours. I had no problems with any of it. I thought Dr. Bennett was very professional, clear and soft-spoken. She allowed me to go at my own pace. All in all, it was a quite enjoyable experience. I look forward to returning to discuss my test results.
