This doctor is rude, dismissive, and incompetent. My primary advised I go see him due to some alarming test results and symtoms. Dr. Kim did not even examine me, was extremely condesceding and dismissed me, telling me there is nothing to be alarmed of. 6 months later I discover that I have kidney cancer. Poor excuse for a doctor.

My wife was referred to him by our family doctor as she is having kidney issues. First of all, the staff was EXTREMELY RUDE. She went him the first time with a blood test and CT scan. He examined and referred to get another CT scan. Then he cancelled the scan and said to come to visit again (which we were charged a co-pay and his office billed our insurance). One the second visit, he spoke to her for 5 minutes and said to get an MRI. I called the next day to question why we needed to see him this time, they would not tell me why. They are obviously using her 5 minute visit to bill the insurance. FYI, my wife waited an hour and a half to see him for 5 minutes. Very unfriendly environment. Doctor kind of insulted me during consultation. Office manager very rude to me and just didn’t care. Nor explain the reason why I needed a return visit.

I called to schedule an appointment for my husband. The staff told me my husband was considered a new patient because it has been more than two years since a visit. Ok fine. Dr. Kim is nice but unfortunately I can't say the same for some of the girls in his office. 1. Helen (Hollywood office)sent my prescription to the wrong insurance. 2. Helen then claimed she doesn't handle the prescriptions and promised that Georgina or Tanya (Aventura office) would call me but I never received a call from either one. I had to keep calling to finally get his prescription sent correctly to the insurance. When the insurance requested a pre-authorization Helen refused. 3. My insurance said Dr. Kim overcharged me. Talked to Helen and she said to call Caroline (Miami Shores office). I have called her 4 times and it has been almost 2 months since they were paid from the insurance and even though they admit they overcharged me they will not refund me the over payment. 4. I called Helen over a week ago to leave a message for Dr. Kim to call me but haven't heard from him. I guess he doesn't care either. I will let my insurance know that they will not refund me.

The prescription they finally sent to my insurance didn't have all the information on it so they requested the additional information but weeks later still received nothing. When doing a three way call with Helen (Hollywood office) and my insurance co. trying to get everything straightened out Helen was informed that they would need a pre-authorization. Helen refused to get a pre-authorization for my medication. They explained it would be a quicker process so I would get my medication sooner. She said No. After several calls Helen then claimed she doesn't handle the prescriptions even though in previous conversations she stated that she sent it to the insurance. Helen promised that Georgina or Tanya in the Aventura office would call me but I never received a call from either one. I had to keep calling to finally get his prescription sent correctly to the insurance co. I'm suppose to see Dr. Kim after being on the medication for 90 days. When I told Helen that I wouldn't be able to make that appt because it's taking so long to get my medications she didn't care. She just said ok. She didn't care and wasn't going to help me get my medication by doing what the insurance was asking of them. 2. Then I get a letter from my insurance letting me know Dr. Kim overcharged me for the visit. Helen told me to call Caroline in Miami Shores office. I have called her 4 times and she just keeps saying that the VP of Operations does refunds and she's out of town. She will email her. It has been almost 2 months since they were paid from the insurance and even though they admit they overcharged me they will not refund me the over payment. Caroline said it's up to me to keep contacting her because she doesn't have time to call patients. I told her she doesn't have to call me but instead she should be keeping in contact with the VP of Operations to make sure I get my refund. Apparently that's not her job. 3. I called Helen asking for a medication and it took her over a week to get back to me. Even when she did she called me at closing time on a Friday and told me to call her on Monday. I called Helen a week ago to leave a message for Dr. Kim to call me but haven't heard from him. I guess he doesn't care either. My last resort was to talk to him directly but since he doesn't care to return my call then I guess it's time to find a new doctor. I will let my insurance co. know that they are over charging and not refunding the difference back to their clients.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Kim for four years. On my last visit with Dr. Kim I revealed a personal problem I’m dealing with, as a result he rushed me out of his office without checking me. I’m pretty sure I will be looking for a new urologist for my next check up. Very disappointed in Dr. Kim!

Knowledgeable physician , nice clean office and staff was super sweet! Definitely would reccommend this doc to my friends..

Dr. Kim is a doctor's doctor. He took his time asking many questions and thoroughly addressed each issue with great care and concern. The office is neat and clean. The wait time to check in and see the doctor was relatively quick. When I called the Dr's office after I left at the end of the day she listened to my concern and explained she was with patients at that moment. She then informed me that she will return my call in the morning once she spoke to my insurance company and received the information needed. All was resolved in a professional manner. I feel confident I am in good hands. Dr. Kim is a doctor's doctor. He took his time asking many questions and thoroughly addressed each issue with great care and concern. Dr.Kim is great but his staff is terrible! The receptionist answering the phone are extremely rude. My results came in on a Thursday and they failed to contact me. When I called Friday, they said they never received them so I had ivf send them again. Once they received it, the receptionist said a doctor will contact me later with my results... I never got a call. It's Monday and I still don't know my results. Very unreliable and unprofessional. Dr.Kim is great but his staff is terrible! Both my husband and father go to Dr. Kim. He is a wonderful doctor and takes all the time you need for great health service. The office staff is the same. I highly recommend him.

Great urologist. I have a partial staghorn stone in my right kidney and 20 stones. I have passed 3 3 mm stones and he lasered one 4mm stone that was stuck in my ureter. Great bedside manners and answered all of my questions. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I would definitely refer him to anyone who has kidney stones.
