Dr. Jason Pothast

We have relied on Dr Pothast for a long time now. He is very knowlegeable, genuinely cares about us, and takes extra time to make sure all areas are covered. We highly reccomend him...Some people get anxious and nervous about going to a doctor. We actually enjoy going to see Dr Pothast. He is one of a kind. Rare to find a doctor like him. I am confident you will feel the same way. Common sense, easy to understand, takes extra time, very thorough, really knows his stuff.

His office at medstar union memorial hospital was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a doctors office the staff unprofessional and oppurent even aggravation prior to the appointment I sent them five referrals to them their laziness and downright negligence reflects the doctor himself I would have had the referral just after the appointment ended I was in considerable amount of pain and would not accept me then while bringing the referrals I previously sent to them back security promptly Bye.

I love Dr. Pothast knowledge, professionalism, and caring for me as a patient. He took his time to explain my condition to me and my husband. This is a Dr. that I will recommend to family and friends. Thank you Dr. Pothast to be passionate about your job in this days we don't find too many doctors like you.

Dr. Pothast spent quite a long time with my son who injured his shoulder during a high school wrestling match. He studied the MRI carefully, did not seem rushed, and explained his recommendation very clearly and understandably. My son is an intense athlete and although he was disappointed with the confirmation of his diagnosis, he liked Dr. Pothast and appreciated the time he spent explaining his condition. He and his assistant were both likable, compassionate, and knowledgeable.
