Since I visited Dr Patel Im so disappointed got appointment after 3 months waite when U went he didnt answer all my question said I can not answer all your questions as I have other patients also your 1/2 hr time is over but build for 70 minutes.I canceled my second appointment 3 days advance on line & try to call 3 times but no body picked up the phone but surprised to see $50.00 charges today.so what A scam it is

I have been seeing Dr. Shashank Patel as my primary care doctor for probably over ten years. I thought I would try to leave a helpful review to reflect on my patient experience. Good doctors are hard to find, especially those that you can actually talk to and not only converse with, but that will actually listen and give you the time as a patient. I usually only come to the doctor for an annual checkup, but have had occasion over the years for additional visits here and there. I have recently been on several doctors appointments with my mother, and seen a whole other side of what folks deal with and thought I'd give a shout out to Dr. Patel. He ALWAYS takes the time to review the details of my lab results, diet, exercise, mental & physical wellness, etc. I'm always pleasantly surprised at the time and thoroughness of his answers and explanations. Lastly, I have always appreciated his responsiveness to my emails and questions via the Patient Portal. Highly recommended!

The worst doctor that I have encountered for my mom. He never helped her with her anxiety and or her problems with aging. She is a senior who is now suffering from severe panic attacks and My siblings and I tried to have her evaluated for dementia and he said that for the most part she was good. Here we are three years later and she is so nervous and depressed that she is having symptoms of a nervous breakdown. When we tried to make an appt to see another doctor/PA doctor Patel cancelled the appt without my knowledge so that My mom would be seen by him. She preferred seeing a female doctor and removing an appt that was made my me without informing me is not acceptable. She went to the emergency room twice on her own because of panic attacks and not one phone call from him. My sister was diagnosed with myositis from the emergency room but this horrible doctor patel said that she had slurred speech due to anxiety when she called for help. She went to the hospital and was treated for and is still being treated by another doctor for her muscle disease. She was put on a steroid and was supposed to get a phone call to reschedule and never heard back. DO NOT TRUST HIM. HE WANTS ONLY TO GET PAID SINCE THE BIG SWITCH. Dr Shashank Patel has always taken the time needed with me. He has an excellent bedside manner. Professional, and intelligent.

I saw this provider in the emergency room last year after having complications from a tonsilectomy. After waiting for over an hour in a room, this man comes in EATING A SANDWICH. He then introduces himself to myself and my parents with food in his mouth. After asking my parents what was going on (I could not speak) he leaves for a long while. After returning, he says that he has to contact the doctor that performed my surgery to see what he should do. He was absolutely awful and no help!

Listens to what I have to say. Recommends and prescribes relevant treatment. Start with moderate treatment and then prescribes stronger prescriptions or treatment as necessary. Recommends seeing a specialist when he thinks this is necessary.

Dr. Patel is awesome. How ever the front office staff are rude and extremely unprofessional. Desperately need to learn customer service skills.

I am a new patient to Dr Patel. I had the best experience of Dr.'s visit in my life, Dr Patel is caring, gentle, patient to listen all the questions and caring. I am so happy to have him as my doctor.
