Dr. Jared Lee Overton

Today I had an appointment with Dr. Jared Overton Psychologist, Henderson, NV. My appointment was almost 12 hours ago. Yet, I am still in utter awe with regards to how my Doctor visit went. When I arrived at the office, 6 minutes late, I was greet with this amazing smile. I mean way before I even cleared the threshold of the door. This totally awesome Front Desk person, (aka Ms. Morgan T.) greeted me with a beautiful smile and was eager to help me. She remembered me from our interaction over the phone prior too my visit today. She made me feel like she really knew me. Ready and willing to do what she does so well. Her demeanor is one of a kind. Then there was the Wife and Mrs. to Dr. Overton. She was also there at the front desk working, as well. Very Sweet. Truly professional and warm. As we chatted for a bit prior to my even checking in. She made me feel like family. She asked me how my experience was with the Documents she had e/mailed for completion. She welcome feed back. Yet in the midst of all the professionalism's. Her niceties were on point and genuine. Felt like I was talking to one of my own daughters. I was even given a tour of the ever so amazingly decorated Children's Play room. It was the decorum and play house for me. The dollhouse was to die for. The interior decorations in the play room were all done by Mrs. E Overton herself. Priceless. Mrs. Elisabeth and Ms. Morgan rock! OMW. The Doctor though! Awesome and Amazing is not enough. This guy is so real. Truly laid back and confident. Totally interested in how he could help me accomplish goal. The Clinical Assessment tools/forms, I completed prior to my visit, where referenced as we moved thru the interview. There were no awkward moments for me. All of his inquiries were really and about me. He wasn't doing that whole educated guess thing that some Doctors do. He's got skill. IJS and speaking from my own experiences only. This Youngman is the real thing. The entire Office Suite was gorgeous, homey, and comfortable. I would recommend the Henderson Nevada location to anyone in need of a Psychological assistance. Thanks Family!

While he listened well, he also talked a lot about his other patients. It concerns me that he didn't hold my information private as I would have expected a psychologist to do. When I found out he'd shared private stories about me with his staff and his wife (and I have to assume other patients as well given his prior behavior), I had to leave.

Doesn't listen or help. Judgmental and bigoted as you would expect from his religion, he shouldn't allow it to affect his work but he does.

My experience with Dr. Overton has been amazing. The staff are caring and loving! I am always welcomed and excited for my appointments. He has helped me so much! My life has changed because of him!

He practices religion, not psychology. Not in touch with the real world

I was so nervous going to Dr Overton to get evaluated.. But soon as I met him all that went out the door. The most humble,nice and understanding person.. His whole staff were awesome and caring.. Loved my visit..

I love Jared !!!! He is such an understanding, caring, and accepting of all flaws, he listens very well and invokes knowledgable, interesting conversations. You never feel judge and he will address your concerns and find the best way possible to progress in your individual treatment!
