Super nice staff very clean and always on time

I have bad experiences in the past with dentist , and when I went in I was nervous and by the time I left I was much more calmer and he explained everything he was going to do. Staff was g reat as well.

He has been our family dentist for many years now; starting at his previous office. He and his staff have always been courteous, professional, helpful, and fair. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a long term relationship with a quality dental office.

They got me in last minute for a filling repair!

Dr. Odom's office is an exceptional dentist office. All the staff are friendly and very professional, which includes Stacy my hygienist. Dr. Odom office has the state of art dental equipment and the office atmosphere is warm and inviting. I would highly recommend his office to all my family and friends.

Dr. Odom is absolutely awesome! He gives you a breakdown on treatment and options you have and doesn’t rush you. He shows you the pictures and takes you step by step on the sequence of your treatment.

It’s never good to visit a dentist, Dr. Odom and his staff are very courteous to the patient’s needs. Dr. Odom explains options thoroughly and makes you comfortable with your decision and also the procedure. I highly recommend Dr. Odom and his staff. I found a dentist I’m comfortable with and that’s very important.

Dr. J.W. Odom has been my wife Loretta and my dentist for many years. His office staff and him are the most blessed and friendly people you will even meet. It's like being in church away from from that building we call church.

Dr. Odom and his staff are fabulous. I've been seeing Dawn for dental hygiene for several years and wouldn't think of changing. She's terrific - thorough, friendly, and she listens. She's responsive and makes it a comfortable experience. Dr. Odom is direct and honest - don't go if you want to be coddled. But once he's clear, your decisions are your own and he is never unkind or pressuring. He replaced my 4 front teeth when *I* could afford it and did a fabulous job. I feel like a new person. The whole office is that way. Direct, honest and focused on each individual patient and how to make it work for you. I would never consider another dentist or hygienist or practice. I agree with the previous post .. the hygienist and Dr. Odom are in deed the bomb! However, I visited today to get a issue addressed regarding stabilizing a tooth. The "assistant" did not practice safe guidelines with regard to wearing gloves at all times. Her manner of attempting to make a mold of my lower teeth was excruciating. I now have a very painful spot, feeling like a canker sore on the inside of my gums. Sorry, Dr. Odom, but you are only as good as your assistants demonstrate. I was looking for a good dentist but I found a great one , finally!!!! I’m always afraid to go to the dentist due to a bad experience. I found Dr Odom and I feel so comfortable that now I look forward to go see the dentist!!! His staff is great as well. He really has a great team.

Dr Odom is amazing! I have severe anxiety and he helped me through it. He's very candid and isn't going to try to charge you crazy prices. I highly recommend Dr. Odom!!! He is the best dentist I think I’ve ever been to, and I’m not young yet not old lol. My other dentist retired and my husband was told by his employer about this dentist, he went and he is extremely picky. He scheduled me in for an appointment, I couldn’t believe how clean and nice the office is. He has the latest and greatest dental equipment, I also had my teeth cleaned. I always end up sore after a cleaning and this time I had 0 pain, they do things differently than some dentists. Hanna was amazing taking my X-Rays and films, the staff is so nice. They do everything to make you comfortable, needless to say I’m staying with Dr. Odom. He explains things in a manner I can really understand, I’m so happy my husband set me up an appointment. This is the best dentist ever. Everyone here is helpful and kind. Positive atmosphere from the time you walk thru the door. Even thou he couldn't extract my teeth they where on point to get me schedule somewhere that can take me in. The doctor is very understanding and listens to your every concern.

I have followed Dr. Odom from Bartow, to Dundee, and now Winter Haven. When I have tried other dentists, I have been disappointed. The hygenists are very nice. Dr. Odom is very gentle and does not want anyone to be in pain. He is patient and not condescending if you need a break during work or you move. I'm new to the area and was looking for a good dentist. Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience with Dr. Odom and his staff. I went in to have a crown done and his assistant was initially prepping the wrong tooth until I informed her of her error. My crown must not have been sealed properly so the tooth is now highly sensitive. Dr. Odom never talked to me at all and only chatted with his assistant about his expensive tastes. Complaints were completely ignored. Extremely unprofessional! AVOID!

I made an appointment as a new patient not that long ago. The day of the appointment and every time after that I was greeted by really friendly staff. I was actually called in to be seen at exactly my appointment time which usually never happens anywhere else! Dr. Odom was friendly and very knowledgeable! Dr Odom has become a money mill. He hops from cubicle to cubicle spending as little time as possible with the patient, after his assistants have done much of the work. He talked me into a crown and when I asked how much it was going to cost, the assistant produced an estimate of $217 after insurance, which I signed. An hour later, when checking out, the charge was over $400! Some estimate! Evidently He needs my money to pay for all the cable TV that is in every cubicle!

Had my scheduled cleaning today, Dawn was the hygienist. First of all I was taken in promptly at my appointed time. Dawn was professional, gentle and gave me some brushing tips, showing me I was not using my brush properly for the type it is along with other hints. I began to visit Dr.Odom about 6 months ago. I have a very long treatment plan and have been getting a lot of work done. The best part of all the visits is there's only normal discomfort, no major pain after the procedures. Dr.Odom and his staff are always professional and courteous.
