Dr. James Scott Sherrer

This dr. was attending physician for the hospice my husband was using. My husband passed away and it took him 2 weeks to sign the death certificate. 2 weeks that the funeral home called leaving messages. After I got involved he signed the death certificate. Think twice before using this dr. He may let your love one lay on a cold slab in a funeral home. He is uncaring. Think twice before using such an uncaring person. I gave him one star but he should not be given anything. I couldn’t publish without it.

I couldn't be happier with the service/treatment I have received at this office. Everyone is extremely helpful and seem genuinely interested in my well-being and actually listen to all concerns. Would highly recommend.

Help was friendly

Over the moon that I found Dr. Sherrer and his team. I was seen by 3 people and every single one listened intently to my medical condition, and exemplified the kind of care that is quite rare these days. The waiting area is nice and open as well. Well worth coming out in the 20 degree weather!

Dr Sherrer is the best! I love Him. You're awesome Dr Sherrer, there isn't another Dr like you. I'm so honored to have you as my Dr. Thank you for taking good care of me. P.S. James is taller than me now and only 12! I'll bring him with me one day. ❤❤❤❤

Dr. Sherrer takes time to listen, where others are busy trying to get on to the next patient. He's compassionate and thorough. My husband's family has been with him for years and now I am. PCP search ends here!

Dr.Sherrer is the best family Dr that I have found , very considerate , nice bed side manner . The staff Is very Nice and Caring also . I would highly recommend this office .

Fantastic dr! I have been a patient for years and will continue. Highly recommended! Dr Sherrer is very compassionate and takes his time with his patients. That is unusual these days.

Dr. Sheerer is by far the best doctor in town. I've never seen him before and to be honest I was very hesitant. I have been seeing my family doctor who wasn't taking my problems seriously. I told Dr. Sheerer, and he LISTENED!! It was a huge relief. I will be seeing Dr Sherrer from now on.

Love this doctor! Dr. Sherrer has vast knowledge of many issues in general medicine. He is empathetic and is willing to spend with a patient to make him/her feel better. You can't be in any better hands than Dr. Sherrer!

Such rude people they discriminate against people that has no insurance but has the money to pay for the visit unprofessional

He will take the time to listen and understand. Staff is great. No complaint

I have been going to Dr Sherrer for over 15 years. And I usually don't recommend anyone, but I would highly recommend Dr Sherrer he is a Doctor who does care about his patients. And when my 72 year old mother keep hearing me talk about what a great doctor he was she went to him and just loved him with her medical care.

Dr Sherrer is not only very knowledgeable but also very caring and compassionate. I feel blessed to have him as my Internist!

He's very knowledgeable, kind, caring and compassionate. It's hard to find doctors like Dr. Sherrer. I hope he doesn't retire anytime soon!

Poor customer service by staff within the Ooltewah office. They lost my son's medical records. When trying to complete an immunization form for school, they asked us to come back with our personal copies. They will use those to replace lost records & complete school form. We returned with copies and was directed to Health Department to have forms completed. Found out nurse Jess didn't know how to complete the simple form...or didn't want to. Very unprofessional; we are leaving the office.
