James Gerard O'Brien

Dr O'Brien is excellent. Sometimes you have to wait but that is because he takes time with his patients. He actually practices medicine which is hard to find these days.

Not always the quickest getting In and out on appointments but Dr O'brien has always been kind and helpful

Every time it’s is over an hour wait. I’ve gone here for several years and the doctor always ask me if I’m new. I’m switching doctors first chance I get.

It's a Terriable experience.. in my first visit I had to wait for more than one hour than normal schedule, and even doctor I not able to answer my single question, no he have referred me to another doctor. Staff is too rude.. They have never responded properly. Even if you leave message they won't reply to your message nor they will answer your question. Dr. O'Brien was very nice and attentive when I saw him a few months ago. However, I had a horrible incident with his office during a telephone call/discussion with his assigned nurse per the telephone answering tree. She was extremely rude. I currently have two hypertension medication under a former physician. These prescriptions are out and have no refills. I tried to contact Dr. O'Brien's office to explain I need these prescriptions under his name as I am seeing him now. If I need to make an appointment, that's fine. However, I am completely out of one of the medication while I try to resolve this issue. I just need for Dr. O'Brien's office to telephone in a prescription until I can come into the office for an appointment. His nurse would not let me say one single word to explain this situation. Essentially I'm a hypertension patient with no medication. I will continue to have no medication because the nurse would not take two seconds to listen to me. I even started the conversation with "Hi, how are you doing?" Her response? "What do you want?" However, I don't even know why she even asked me this because she didn't even let me say what I needed! This is the first time I have even called this doctor's office for ANYTHING! Again, to summarize, I have hypertension and NO MEDICINE!!! I will never step foot in this office again. I have had a terrible time with this office over refills. I would leave messages for his staff and they have consistently ignored my messages or called them into the wrong pharmacy. Even faxes go unheeded. This has repeatedly resulted in my running out of multiple medications and when I told Dr. O'Brien about the problems he told me that it simple wasn't true. After I finally went to get my records so I could find a new doctor his "Practice Manager" told me that she was too busy too give me my records. I ended up calling corporate and they told her to give me the records. Frankly I should have found another doctor a year ago. I have had a terrible time with this office over refills.
