First off didn’t appear to be an updated dentist office when I arrived. Felt like I was at the guys house. Second, I had just went threw issues with my dentist in plover and decided to go with a new dentist, which ended up being here in nekoosa. My first time I was there an hour and received a cleaning and (only) two cavities filled when my last dentist said I had several. I said whatever, the guys a dentist right. Filled my cavities and pretty much once I started eating again I noticed sensitivity on what I assumed was right where the cavity was filled so I called and went back in to check it out where he tried to fix the issue and made a statement on the lines of “maybe it isn’t something WE did”. Don’t quote me word for word on that. Anyways what he did did not fix it and I’m not going back to complain again and hear the defensive responses and comments. Long story short me or my family will not be going back to this dentist and I would recommend that to anyone considering going there for dentist work. Don’t really like leaving negative comments but when I find a dentist who can fix it I will be relaying more complaints because now I can ONLY chew softly on the right side of my mouth. Find a young updated generation of dentists , not this guy. He should have a sign that says 15 minute cavity fillings or it’s FREE! Another long story short this guy probably has a degree from 1970 and hasn’t had any updates since. Seriously I knew it wasn’t going to be good once I walked in the door. My previous dentist was Quirt dentistry in plover which is very updated and I had no issues with my teeth there

State of the art...for the 60's. Dont even think about swearing if they hit your nerve while drilling. Very bad experience. I will use anything before this place. Yes even including a rock.

He is great and all of the staff there. My whole experience was so good. Dr. Esselman is caring, good and was so helpful with my problem!????

James Esselman made me very comfortable in my first visit there he went above and beyond taking care of my husband and my self being new a patient and new to the state. He even came in while off work to take care of my husband. I highly recommend him for all your dental care.

Excellent service and excellent staff. Upfront with what needs to be done and the costs.
