Dr James Althoff, is very considerate to your concerns and needs. Also has a good sense of humor.. Hope he is still practicing when I'm in my 90s.
Dr Althoff and all the doctors in his office are amazing. I work for a Senior Living Community and go to them myself. They care a lot for everyone of their patients
Dr. Althoff is very friendly and takes the time to listen to you. He will work with you on your health concerns and suggested treatment plans. However I did not like the specialists he referred me to. Both times they were very arrogant and did not help me at all. I am not sure how he decides who to send you to but they were a disappointment and a waste of time

Dr. Althoff is a great doctor to see, very friendly and fun to talk to. Is also very good at breaking down the reasoning behind decisions to help make the best choice.
I understand that people do not have a lot of choice in freeburg Illinois. That said, I still would not recommend Dr. Althoff for any older patients. He has completely written off my grandparents on a number of occasions. Both are still around even years after this doctor mentioned Hospice.
Dr Althoff is great. He cares a lot about his patients. He listens and is easy to talk to. He took great care to my parents and most of my family. I highly recommend this doctor and all the other physicians in this practice.
