I am writing this as I received a reminder today. Went last year (July) for foot pain. My wife also has foot pain. 1) concerns she voiced were talked down and ignored. At this point he lost any credibility with her. She ended her end of the examination. I should have at this point done the same. I hoped it was a situational thing. We discovered that I have bone spurs and I went ahead placed an order for orthotics. It was explained that some insurances take longer than others to respond to such a request. Ok I can understand that. I called about 2 weeks later and was met with the. We will call you when we know something no need for you to check. Ok I heard nothing until February of this year. It was a bill. I had to place a call to them to find out what it was for. I ended up getting transferred to a handler after explaining that I didn't even know that they had continued with anything since I hadn't heard from them in 6 months. After talking with her she offered to see if the doctor was willing to give me a discount if I still wanted them. At the time I agreed since I felt that it might do my health some good to be able to walk properly. Once the items arrived I spoke to her again and she let me know that I could come by and pick them up. It's a bit of a drive and they close about the time I get off work. I had an appointment in the area the following week. She said that was ok. When I called to let them know I would be coming by the person I spoke with said that I could not pick them up unless I set an appointment with the Dr. again. I explained that this had already been cleared. Gave her the information of whom I spoke to. She refused. I said ok. I didn't set the appointment. I called for a refund and had no further dealing with them since March. No I didn't get my refund. At this point I don't think it will happen. I no longer care. I was happy to no be dealing with them anymore. Out of the blue I get a call today from their office. I am soo pleased that 3 months later they chose to call....I will not only never use them or recommend them. I hope no one in their right mind goes to this facility. Dr Retieff did surgery in-office on a toe which took care of the problem. He has helped me with severe arthritis in feet by suggesting steel insoles for my shoes. Sounds uncomfortable but they are not and helps my toes to not bend when walking. This greatly reduces the pain and I ordered a pair of Turfliner Spring Steel Insoles from Amazon. Also get good support walking shoes. I highly recommend Dr Retieff to anyone searching for a kind, compassionate doctor who will clearly explain your problems and only recommend surgery if absolutely necessary. All staff in his office are very kind and very efficient. Do not hesitate and make an appointment with Dr Refieff for all your foot problems.

Dr Retief and his staff were very helpful. They explained what they were doing and why. Answered all my questions and provided very helpful information.

I received excellent, professional and prompt care! Dr.Retief listened to my complaint before doing any tests or xrays and was very thorough with his exam. I would give him and his incredible staff 10 stars if I could.

I love Dr. Retief, he cares and takes his time with his patients. A great doctor and I would recommend him to anyone who’s having foot/ ankle issues. You won’t be disappointed. ????????????

Dr Retief is amazing! He’s very knowledgeable. Very friendly and easy to talk to. He doesn’t try to get you to spend tons of money on products. He gives you other options that are very affordable.

Dr Retief is Best of Best. He has been my longtime doctor for osteoarthritis. He is thorough and kind and very knowledgeable. Today he assisted with two cortisone shots that were difficult injections but achieved with no problem. He always travels a 'long extra mild' to make the visit so productive. Dr Retief shares all option in a very instructional and brilliant manner. So pleased. His receptionist Kristi is also top-notch with supreme assistance. I am so pleased with this office.

Bad experiences. And will not be back to this doctor again.they made me turn my right foot.and that doctir made my right foot hurt a lot else than any thing.and heck no I want and will not have no blocker in me or any more shots.were they wanting me to have.heck no I dont think so.my bones is all ready messed as it is.and they want to do this to me I dont think so.i give them a f ever one of them.exfor the front desk lady.and that is it.the front desk lady was very nice.the rest was sunny all get out they was.i not giving this doctor no dang star.he dont need one

Dr Retief is always very helpful to me. He listens to me carefully and comes up with the best plan for me.

I wasn't very impressed with Dr Retief, he didn't really say much other than said I had a High arch and I should purchase some insoles from Academy Sports which I did, thankfully they wasn't very expensive but a few months later nothing changed so I found a Foot and Ankle specialist who told me I had a perfectly normal arch and didn't need insoles, both doctors did x-rays, not impressed Dr Retief not at all I wasn't very impressed with Dr Retief, he didn't really say much other than said I had a High arch and I should purchase some insoles from Academy Sports which I did, thankfully they wasn't very expensive but a few months later nothing … More

I had 3rd visit today and Dr. Retief is excellent! He is good listener and conveys excellent advisement. Cortisone shots into my feet had not worked at all for 10 yrs until his expertise. It is life-changing. He is a very warm and nice man and super knowledgeable. I am very pleased and in good hands. Brilliant man.

Dr Retief was friendly, professional and provided me with options to resolve the problems I was experiencing. One of the problems was taken care of in office on the initial visit. He listened and explained each step of the procedure. Thank you.

Excellent bed side manner. Explained things thoroughly. I am almost 1 month post surgery and my foot feels totally healed although I realize I still need to take it easy. Im back in the gym and everything. I wish I had more feet problems so I could go back to see him. However, I am referring him to every person I talk to. He is now MY podiatrist!!!

Very patient and thorough in answering questions. Was not pushy about suggesting expensive options. It was clear to me that he strives to make sure that his patients are aware of all options.

Saw Dr Retief recently, he suggested I buy insoles from Academy which wasn't expensive but he also told me I had an HIGH instep which was causing my pain, after a few months of nothing changing I found a specialist locally who also ex-rayed my foot and diogonised my problem and stated that I have a perfectly normal instep and did not need insoles

My husband and I were encouraged to make an appointment with Dr. Retief by our daughter. She insisted we would love Dr. Retief and we surely did. It was a wonderful experience to be educated about our issues as well as treated with care and compassion. His assistant, Crystal, was wonderful too. Also, Christie at the front desk is welcoming and helpful along with Tina who handles insurance. Everyone was so nice and genuine.

Dr Retief is accessible and has an excellent bedside manner. State of the art facility for making custom orthotics. Very pleased with the service of the office and handling my insurance.

Dr. Retief was very thorough with his explanations. I really felt like he cared and wanted me to understand the problems. I felt like a patient and not a customer. Highly recommended.

I have been seeing Dr. Retief for a few years now I began seeing him after my previous podiatrist left the practice. I have not been any more satisfied with any doctor than I have with Dr. Retief. He has a very friendly staff generally you can get an appointment the same day or the next day after you call and the work they do is efficient sufficient and everything you need. I highly recommend this doctor for all of your Podiatry needs.

Awesome human being. Had just changed jobs and didn't have my insurance yet. He did the surgery anyway and he is doing the follow up even though I can't start paying until I get released to go back to work. God bless this man

He was very friendly and professional. He was very concerned about helping me with my supination problem. I had custom inserts made and they have helped my feet. I do recommend him for your foot problems.
