Hyuk Kim

I stumbled upon this OB back in 2006 and since then I know that Dr Kim is One the best OB/GYN, unfortunately they don’t take my insurance plan. Otherwise I’d be a permanent patient there.

Apparently Dr. Kim does not “specialize” in trans pregnancies. This is disgusting and an absurd excuse. A pregnancy is a pregnancy how can you be a doctor and then turn people away for being trans???

Apparently this office - despite making an appointment - will not take a pregnant patient. The staff says they don't specialize in trans patients but with the pregnancy being normal, this is a bigoted office and should be closed.

He is transphobic and discriminating against people who are tans and pregnant . Idc you took an oath to help and you denied a person who needed help. Bad doctor

Dr. Kim instructed his nurses to turn away a pregnant trans male because the doctor did not 'specialize in that'. Nurses screened the patient by asking how he dressed and how he cut his hair. On the day of the appointment, the nurses even went to the extent of saying there was a misunderstanding about the setup of the appointment and he wasn't actually scheduled, but was instead supposed to receive a call to let him know that they don't see transgenders and that the doctor doesn't 'specialize in that' - a pregnancy.

So glad that i was referred to him, he took care of my needs and was fast and professional. Highly recommend

I've been coming here since 2009 for all my pregnancies. Dr. Kim is such a great Dr. And he's always there 100%. Only reason why I choose Providence Holy Cross to deliver all my children and anything related to my pregnancies or emergencies. Marisa is also very helpful with everything relating to all dr visits. I wished I would of found this dr when I had my first child . Hands down dr Kim is ONE of the best he look out for through out my whole pregnancy answer all my questions and made me feel confutable . I recommend this medical office to all women :) & lets not forget the great staff there they received you with a warm welcome and are friendly . Dr Kim did a csection on me and did a exlent job deliver my baby on 12-3-13 (Leilani) . I wished I would of found this dr when I had my first child .
