Dr. Hua Zhu

After 60+ years of previous dental care, I was lucky and very grateful to find Hunterdon Family Dental Care. Dr. Zhu is an extraordinary professional in every way. As professor, she is extremely knowledgeable and experienced, but she also possesses great technical skill. She approaches each situation conservatively, seeking to do the least amount of "work" or disruption, while still fixing the problem effectively and in a cost-effective way. Dr. Zhu has created a warm and welcoming environment that puts patients at ease. Her entire staff (from assistants and hygenists to the receptionship) reflect her own qualities ... warmth, caring, competency, and efficiency. The other dentist at Hunterdon Family is also outstanding. Dr. Simms is experienced, quick, and competent and is brilliant at explaining what she is doing when she is doing it. Five stars are not enough for either Dr. Zhu or Dr. Simms.

Dr. Zhu was so caring and compassionate--she took me as a new patient with dental pain when my regular dentist was not available. She did an excellent job saving my tooth and avoiding root canal--even though she can do root canals too! She can do so many things including wisdom tooth extraction and periodontics surgery. I am pretty amazed! She is truly a master of dental profession!
