Great physician! The best I've ever known of the nurse practitioner Is a lifesaver

I was referred to Dr. Mac’s office from a friend and I have not been disappointed. My very first appointment was a sick appointment and they got me in same day and I saw Dr. Mac himself instead of a NP. He had great bedside manner, took his time talking with me about what was going on and did not rush the appointment even though I was a work-in. His staff has been very friendly. It’s an old school practice which is what I like. I’m so glad I was referred to Dr. Mac and I absolutely love his NP Jessica. The first time I saw her she took her time with me as well and explained everything thoroughly. I highly recommend this practice.

Dr. McMahan is my son's doctor who is now 20. He is an absolutely personable, down to earth physician with an exceptional and professional bedside manner. He sits down with his patients and spends the extra time to discuss any concerns the patient may have. Not like other doctors who barely get into the room and ready to run out the door. He will answer any questions you have. We were so pleased with him that we recommended him to others including my mother who has also been very pleased.

Very attentive. Very friendly. Very thorough and caring. Spent close to an hour with us and didn't rush out. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Dr McMahan is a wonderful family doctor who loves & cares about his patients.

Staff is rude and doctor is condescending and talks more than listens.

Staff is not helpful. They are curt and unpleasant. Dr. is pedantic, doesn't listen enough, talks too much. I'm changing to a new doctor.

I read the article in Parade magazine on Dr. Howard Mcmahan. This article really made my day. With the high cost of medicine and doctors visits, it obvious that Dr Mcmahan is not in his profession for the money. I live in Baltimore, MD, however i do want to thank you for your compassion and generosity especially in this day and time. God Bless You!
