Dr. Howard Blake Adelson

If I had a chance to put 0 stars, I would. Horrible place and terrible customer service. Had a lasik last year and they don't even cover the annual exam. Asked for my insurance and after 45 min they tell me they don't work with my insurance. Save yourself some time and stay away.

Extremely long wait time..

After 1.5 hours of waiting in my car for my appointment, I was told by “Vickie” in an extremely rude manor that if I didn’t like it I could reschedule. Another woman who was waiting spoke up that she too had been waiting for over an hour and asked why no one informed us of the delay. Vickie again, as rude as can be, told both of us if we don’t like it we can complain to the Dr., but in the mean time can go sit in our car. Very nice office staff, Vickie however was absolutely terrible and rude and tarnished my first time visit to this office. I had my surgery on june 26 2020 I could see 100 times better and Dr.howard adelson was the best he was quick at his job and very nice and respectful I would highly recommend him!

Very good experience at Adelson Eye Center. Very professional, friendly, not a long wait. Dr Todd Adelson was very nice, helpful, patient and did a thorough job. I highly recommend them and will tell my friends and family to go there! Staff were all very nice and friendly. Great place!

Just had lasik - my eyes are a little red! But what a difference on day 3! I can actually txt on my cell phone w/o glasses!

A+ Doctors! Dr. Howard and Todd Adelson are phenomenal doctors. In particular, Dr. Howard has helped me with various skin conditions and he knows what he's doing. Ladies, if you want to have younger, more rejuvenated skin on your face, neck, or chest, he's your man. With the use of his fractionated CO2 laser, you will achieve amazing results with Dr. Howard's technique. I love being able to see now without having to wear glasses or contacts I just wish I would have been able to have this done years ago!!! I have to also give the staff high praise as EVERYONE was very professional & very nice, this has been an awesome experience. Thank you to the Dr's & their staff

Very helpful staff and very happy with overall experience. Three days after surgery I was seeing better than 20/20. For someone who has been wearing glasses/contacts since a child (32 now) it was the best investment I have made.

This was such great medical experience - very professional handling, very helpful staff and perfect medical support. I got a thorough examination of my eyes (1.5h) and just 4 days later on a Saturday I had my surgery. The same night, I had been able to go out for dinner and the next day my vision was absolutely sharp - much better than with the Contact Lenses. I am super happy about Dr. Adelson and very glad I made the decision for the eye correction and would not want to do it with any other doctor. The same night, I had been able to go out for dinner and the next day my vision was absolutely sharp - much better than with the Contact Lenses. Personable, patient and very thorough. He removed my cataracts and inserted lens in both eyes. I go to him yearly.

I called several places and did my research and this was one of the only places that offers lifetime warrantee which was huge for me. My friend did it before me and loved it. I wish I did this ten years ago. Best investment thus far. I've had no problems and am so happy with my results. Thanks to everyone at Adelson eye centers!

I highly recommend Dr. Adelson and Adelson Eye and Laser Center to anyone. Dr. Adelson is an excellent doctor and they take care of their patients.

I had blepharoplasty surgery Dr. H. Adelson did a wonderful job. I am absolutely pleased with the results. Dr. Adelson and his staff are very polite and professional I would highly recommend him to family and friends. Thanks for making me look 10 years younger !!!

I had laser eye surgery 3 months ago and am so pleased with my results. The staff at both the Warren and Northville offices are extremely professional and supportive. Top notch!!! Today I'm taking my friend to get her surgery. Highly recommend!

Dr . Adelson and his staff was beyond outstanding. He was very detail with his explanation of the surgery. The surgery moved by well in a matter of minutes and he made sure I was comfortable the entire time. Most importantly, my results are outstanding and I he definitely met his obligations as my doctor. I am overly please with my selection of him and would recommend him for anyone with laser vision needs.

I'm a very happy patient! I was in search of a facility and doctor that provided LASIK eye surgery. That is exactly what I found at Adelson Eye & Laser Center with Dr Howard B. Adelson. From my consultation to my surgery and every appointment after they have made my experience fast and easy! Everyone in the front of the office and back are very nice and have great chair side manner.Dr Howard B. Adelson answered all of my questions in ways that I could understand. I would recommend this office!

As a board-certified internist/MD i know and could choose many eye docs- i chose Howard Adelson for his excellent reputation, experience and surgical ability..(cataract surgery).post-op day 1 no pain 20/20 vision.. would recommend to my patientsand family and obviously I chose him for myself...no office is perfect but what counts is your surgeon not the front desk so much...go for one of the best with Howard Adelson!

I had a great experience with the Adelson Laser Center. Dr. Adelson was professional, informative, and trustworthy through my entire experience. I would definitely recommend him over and over again!

Very professional. Dr. Adelson took the time explain all my options and fully disclosed all the pros and cons. I felt as though he cared for my well being as if he was a close friend. I am happy with my results and highly recommend his services and will continue to see him.

Procedure was great and Dr Adelson made me feel comfortable during the entire process. It went off without a hitch. Like both him and his brother. Very professional and makes sure you know your options. Only complaint is wait time on appts. It's beyond ridiculous as they over schedule. Appt at 8am and its 9:25 as I'm still sitting in an exam room. You never get in and out here ever. They are very slow and you can expect to spend over an hour here even if you schedule the first appt. Huge downfal

Dr. H. Adelson did my procedure. He was very truthful when I asked for close details on tools, etc. I wish someone had told me the importance of keeping my head absolutely still, rather than just looking at the light, but he handled that well enough. I can read at distance for the first time in my life.

Dr. Howard Adelson did my eyelid lift upper and lower, Botox, fillers and laser facial resurfacing. I look incredible and couldn't be happier! He even gave me his personal cell phone number afterwards in case I had any follow up questions. I now look 15 years younger !! I've had other cosmetic procedures performed elsewhere before but I've never experienced this level of care. Truly stellar in every way from start to finish. I give Dr Howard Adelson my highest recommendation ....

Just completed cataract surgery with Adelson Eye and Laser Center. I am very pleased with the experience and the results. Dr. Howard Adelson and his staff explained the procedure in detail and answered all my questions (and fears). Promised a smooth and comfortable procedure. Provided good written pre and post op guidelines to educate the patient. During surgery Dr. Howard and his surgery staff created a relaxed atmosphere and a very comfortable surgery experience. Quite frankly, the overall experience was less stressful than getting my teeth cleaned. I whole heartily recommend Adelson Eye and Laser Center to anyone contemplating cataract surgery.
