Dr. Trillo is very personable and knowledgeable. He is a “half glass full” kind of doctor, very positive, and rejoices with you when you receive good news.

Dr. Trillo is relaxed & ready to explain in layman's words my medical situation.

Dr. Trillo has been treating me for 14 years. I have two rare diseases so I’ve seen many doctors over the past 14 years, but Dr. Trillo has always been my favorite. He genuinely cares about his patients, he looks outside the box and never makes me feel ignored or rushed. He is a rare gem and I’m blessed for his care for so many years.

I've been treated by Dr Trillo since 2017 after a DVT and PE. He's got great bedside manner, personable, knowledgeable and professional! So is the staff and can't forget to mention the gals April and Jackie who work in the phlebotomy room assisting patients in a passionate and caring manner! Dr Trillo has treated me since December of 2007. Without his care, understanding, compassion and excellent skills as a doctor, I would have difficulty having what might be described as a ‘normal’ life. It is hard to describe how much he means to me and our family.

Dr. Trillo and his staff are professionals in every way. He is an expert in oncology and I praise God for people like him who chose this field of work. I've been a patient for 8 months and the medication he selected for me is working. All of my lab results and scans have shown improvement every month. Dr. Trillo advised me to get iron infusion. I took lab test first. A few days later I was told by the clinic that the treatment was authorized by the insurance so I started the treatment. However, I got big bills ($3400) and checked with insurance, I was told the insurance never received pre-authorization from the clinic, and all the claims were rejected, leaving me big balance. I called the clinic, didn't get response. So someone at the clinic didn't do his/her job, leaving me big bill to deal. I'm very disappointed and will not recommend this clinic to anybody. Dr Trillo is the Best there is. Very kind and caring.

Awesome doctor and usually don’t have to wait long and staff is very friendly. Great facilities can see the doctor, get blood work completed on site and lab for blood draws or chemotherapy treatments or other medical treatments. I have been going there for a long time and just a wonderful doctor office.

I think Dr. Trillo has done well in treating. my pancreatic cancer. I feel like I have a chance. The doctor has also been a wise prescriber, most recently ordering prednisone to help stimulate my appetite. I am eating again, and with a healthy appetite. I would highly recommend Dr. Trillo.

DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR. I only went to my new patient appt and never returned. The doctor did not explain anything clearly to me about the results from my biopsy. Dr Trillo did not make me feel at ease at all due to the fact he was using GOOGLE to show and explain medical procedures to me. Also, I noticed that his face mask was visually dirty. He was however quick to have me scheduled for a bone marrow biopsy. He also informed me a PET scan was needed but had to pre authorized through insurance first. I waited 3 weeks only to find that his office never sent authorization forms to my insurance but did ask for me to confirm a bone marrow biopsy appt that they didnt even know would be necessary because they never completed a PET scan. The whole entire visit rubbed me the wrong way and they have now delayed my care/treatment by never submitting claim forms. They also arent to be trusted seeing as how they were ready to perform a bone marrow biopsy without knowing if it was medically necessary. I would not recomment Dr Trillo to anyone EVER. I have been a patient of Dr Trillo since 2011. He is compassionate, knowledgeable and open to questions. Fortunately, my condition requires monitoring but only annual visits. I am grateful to have him as a caregiver.

Being a good listener is critical to being a good doctor. Dr. Trillo listens and allowed me to to speak and tell him what was wrong. He made sure I was scheduled for screening tests, ensured my questions were answered, and that I had a clear plan of action upon leaving his office. This was a regular visit to discuss my PET scan. Dr. Trillo is the best doctor ever! I have waited one year to send this review in hopes that I would have received a email or phone call from Dr. Trillo or his assistant. So far nothing! My husband Chuck was Dr. Trillo's patient for several years. Each time we met with the Dr. which was every few weeks as my husband had appts every two weeks to have blood work and then a shot to boost his bone marrow. My husband would tell the doctor at several of the appts, as I also attended them, that he was becoming more tired and was having rapid weight loss. Each time the doctor would review the notes and his assistant would call me a few days after his appt. to up the dosage of his thyroid medicine. This happened frequently. Over the next few months, my husband got weaker and had to be hospitalized and died a few days later. I called Dr. Trillos's office twice and left messages and did not receive a call back from anyone except the kind receptionist regarding the cancellation of my husband's upcoming appt. I finally called back a few days later again and did receive a call back from Dr. Trillos's assistant and after my husband's funeral. It was discovered while he was at the hospital that he had possible lung cancer and found a spot on his lung. They could not confirm this without a biospy, which he was too weak to have, but the doctor that examined him said he felt it was lung cancer. His death certificate also indicated this beside his luekemia. I would like Dr. Trillo to know just how disappointed I am with his total incompetence and his level of care and follow up with a patient. Takes his time to answer all of your questions, very knowledgeable and thorough. I don't feel rushed at all and he genuinely cares about his patients.

This office is one of the warmest and caring medical environments that I've been to. Dr. Trillo never rushes me and has insights not only to my hematological disease, but any other health issues that I'm experiencing. He looks at you as an entire person. I usually always bring my mom along to appointments, and he takes his time to answer her questions and concerns too. I trust his judgement and advice. He is great at setting my worries at ease, and speaks slowly and calmly so I have a chance to absorb all of the information. He's also knowledgeable about specialists in other states and clinical trials, so you will have all the options for your treatment. There is usually a longer wait than other doctor's offices, but please consider what news the patient before you may be receiving. In these cases you would want your doctor to spend as much time with you as you need. Dr. Trillo will give you the same time that you need when it is your turn. I am always difficult stick, and therefore dread getting bloodwork and IVs. The phlebotomist is very patient with me. She's taught me a few tricks that I can practice before bloodwork that make it easier to get a proper sample, but she'll also send me home to rest and heal if she's had to stick me more than a few times. It can get quite painful and I worry that I'll faint with my bad veins. Try to be hydrated, warm, and swing your arms to get the blood flowing. The last time that I had labs done, I was dehydrated and cold. She couldn't get all of the tubes filled before my veins quit. They took me into the infusion room and wrapped my arms in heating pads which made the process so much easier. Sometimes they have the hand warmer packs available, and if you're like me, those help too. No other lab or hospital is this patient or gentle with me. My gynecologist referred me to Dr Trillo for cancer but refused to tell me the details of the cancer. Dr. Trillo has also been evasive on the type of cancer and the prognosis.
