Had to go to this clinic for a follow up due to having a missed miscarriage. First couple of visits were ok. Then the last time I was there, I was told to go get blood drawn at the hospital and I would get my results in a week. Nurse called and told me my results and said she would "try to remember" to call me back in 2 weeks. Never did. Love, love, love Dr. Mannel and staff!! I'd go there for anything, always, from now on! And I have sent 2 more mommas that way in the last 3 months, and they love it there too!!

One particular front desk lady is very rude! I believe her name is Sheila. I've had problems with my insurance and I have been treated so disrespectfully by her with her sass, tone of voice and her demeanor. She is unaware that she has Committed a HIPPA Violation and other stuff as well. she has stressed me out not too mention not made this last month of my first pregnancy easy at all. regardless of the insurance situation, she shouldn't treat a patient like that. So many people have tried to help with the situation including the insurance companies and she's just very uncooperative and extremely rude. She had stated to me that " my situation drives her crazy as well, because not only does she have to deal with my situation but several other similar cases as well. I cant imagine how many other patients are being treated the same way. I have cried multiple times at the doctors office with the stress and have not received one apology.. I am 9 months pregnant, this is my first pregnancy, and my very first pregnancy experience. way to go Sheila. *reminder- one bad experience with one person spreads to @ least 20 people! at least 10 people I know are currently a patient there and are aware of my situation, @ least 5 of them are former patients and the other 5 are trying to resolve the situation.. I choose Dr. Mannel because he has years of experience under his belt and had good reviews. He was my OB for my whole pregnancy, and he was awful. It was my first time ever being pregnant. His nurses do more work than he does, he basically says hi and bye. He acts so rushed to get out of the room I felt as if my normal questions and concerned were boring him. His bedside manner is non-existent, his Aide is 100x better than him, I was actually relieved baby came early and someone else delivered.
