Dr Babikian replaced my left hip 7 years ago and I could not have been happier with the results. I cannot say enough good things about him. He is one of the most skilled and caring doctors I have ever been a patient of and I recommend him to anyone in need of an orthopedic doctor. Truly a great human being and blessing from God.

Dr Babikian and his staff are the best.

Dr Babikin did hip replacements on my husband and my mom . It was so easy and turned out so well . He is an awesome doc and human being we just loved him I have recommended him to many others also and all did really well

He is the very best! I had my hip replacement done by him, never felt another day of pain! Great bed side manor!

Fantastic surgeon. After a successful left hip replacement, he replaced my right hip. Consistent successful results. Great bedside manner, great staff, great results. I would recommend him to everyone with zero hesitation. Thank you.

Thorough, professional, very reassuring. Replaced my right hip about two years ago. Absolutely fantastic results. Scheduled to replace my left hip in two months. Looking forward to it!

Like everyone who comments on Dr. Babikian, I am a delighted patient. I had a total hip replacement in October. I used only Tylenol and Lyrica for pain, and was comfortable throughout. Today, 4 months later, I am totally mobile. The care from his team before surgery, surgery itself, and follow-up care were all first rate. All medicine should be this good.

Easily the most enjoyable experience I have ever had in a doctors office. George is thoroughly entertaining, knowledgable, personable and caring. The woman he works with is equally amazing. What a team. They provided very straightforward answers to all my concerns & gave me great piece of mind.

Have a hip problem? This is the doctor to see. I think he's the Monet of hip replacement, which sounds silly, but after you meet him, you'll agree with me. He is an artist of the highest caliber. He fixed my hip with an operation that was free of angst or incident. It's been three years now, and I don't have the slightest twinge of a problem. What's more, he is a very interesting man. You will enjoy your appointments with him and look forward to seeing him

I had a T-RHR in December of 2014. It was an excellent experience. I'm 51 years old, and after being refused because of my age (too young) by 2 other surgeons, Dr. Babikian reviewed my records, ran his own tests, and told me my quality of life would benefit from the surgery. I was in so much pain and it was a huge factor for him. So, after an anterior hip replacement, he told me that I had one of the 10 worse hips he'd ever seen. Dr Babikian's staff is wonderful and caring, and his talent and skill are obvious and worth the travel from anywhere in my opinion. Also, his sense of humour lightened things considerably. Five years ago I was a 53 years old man that lived with worsening and debilitating hip pain. Driving a car, getting up from a table, especially a booth at a restaraunt was agony. One Dr recommended pain meds and advised I was too young for Hip Repacent. Finally I found Dr Babikan. He was excellent. Surgery on a Tuesday morning. Walking stairs that night. Home on Wednesday with no pain. It's been 5 pain free years. I can only say it felt like a miracle and I am very Grateful.

after several years of mis-diagnosis I finally found my way to Portland and Dr. Babikian. He was perfect. I had both hips replaced, never had a problem, he explained everything in a clear and gentle way and I have recommended him to at least 10 people who had equally successful outcomes. He's the BEST.

He has the patience of a saint and will explain and reexplain until he is sure you know exactly what is he saying. I had recommended many people to him who have been more then thrilled. Last summer, Dr. Babikain replaced my left hip. My experience with him and his office and the people who work there has been pretty close to perfection, from the moment I came in for a consultation to my most recent checkup. The new hip is troublefree (and painfree) and the scar is practically invisible. The surgery and the stay in the hospital were without incident. My recovery was swift--a couple of weeks and I was getting around quite well. A year later and I have absolutely nothing negative to report.
