Doctor Malone told me to go home after I told the doctor I was going to kms!!!

He has no clue how to treat clients in the slightest and nothing he said was right!!!

DO NOT get him as a doctor, when I went to my appointment he didn’t even help me with my problems and ended it early bc he had some meeting with his friends

I cannot put into words how unprofessional dr.Malone is. I went to UBH 4 times and each time, dr Malone treated me worse and worse. He told EVERY patient that they had "treatment resistant depression" and he told us the only option was to get TMS (which is not recommended for anyone under 18). He never actually listened to what anyone was telling him and he just stacks us up on adult doses of medications. Oh and let's not forget this one time I told him not to send me home bc I don't feel safe going home and he had the AUDACITY to tell me "if you attempt again then I'll see you on the other side". I don't understand how he has not had a lawsuit against him. Other patients would come out of his office crying EVERYDAY after seeing him. If he put me on a new med, the next day he would up the dose bc it's "not working" even tho it takes at least 2 weeks for meds to work. Very helpful and caring.

I'm so glad Dr. Malone was assigned to me during my stay at UBH in Denton. He understood my situation and was very helpful.

This was the most rude, unprofessional, and angry physician I have ever met. He had absolutely no empathy, he was rude, yelling at me the patient. He was indignant and did not listen. Do not see this man, he is not fit to treat psychiatric patients. The medications I got put on had to be completely weaned off due to them being wrong by my outpatient psychiatrist. He has no skills and is rude and mean.

In short, Dr. Malone has saved my life. I also saw him first at Millwood and have continued to be his patient outside of the hospital. He has helped me deal with my addictions and has diagnosed and treated my Bi-Polar. He is a very honest doctor. He will," tell it like it is" I know that can rub some people the wrong way, but I would rather have a world class doctor who really cares enough to be truthful than some guy who only cares about a paycheck. Since this public/online let us just say that a family member saw Dr. Malone and experienced great improvements under his care. Experienced and no nonsense. Willing to trust patient who works at getting better; an ability many mental health professionals ironically lack. Dr. Malone knows how to manage pain and addiction. Does not waste any time and is upfront and accurate about what may be difficult. He is giving me my husband back. Past experience with other psychiatrists failed to diagnose his BPD and PTSD and were unable to prescribe intelligently for his past addiction issues. Luckily, we found Malone. I can sleep again.

No nonsense, prescribes intelligently. Upfront and accurate about what may be challenging. Treats pain and addiction using experience. Quick mind.

Absolutely the best Dr I've ever seen. I'm 44 and have had bipolar 1 all my life if you want to go straight to the solution he's the doctor. He's self pay so I cannot afford it. He really is great.

This guy does not accept insurance on an outpatient basis. You can't even get a receipt for services provided so you can claim it for your reimbursement. Why would anyone want to go to this doc on an outpatient basis?

I recently had the awful experience of being treated by Dr. Malone at Millwood Hospital. I was shocked by his behavior! He was verbally abusive. He called me a loser. I told him upon my release from Millwood I would be going to a 30 day treatment program at Right Step, he told me Right Step was "like a low end Motel 6". After hearing this, I decided not to go to Right Step. When the patients (adult cd) talked, all complained Dr. Malone was verbally abusive.
