I've been a patient for many years, and recently needed to be seen as soon as possible (2 different occasions and issues). The most recent issue when trying to make an appointment after an urgent care visit over the weekend and needing a possible referral to a specialist, I was told the earliest was April 28th- over a month to be seen. I asked what their plan was for patients that can't wait that long, and they didn't have an answer. The excuse was they were down from 3 practitioners to 1. But their website says excepting new patients!? I am very frustrated and disappointed. I was able to get a new family physician and an appointment for next week! Do better!

Incompetent staff who cant send prescriptions to the pharmacy requested, but it’s ok, I guess my mom doesn’t need her meds ????????‍♀️

Unbelievable! Had a 1200 appointment, after 45 minutes I went to the receptionist who stated it would be another 1:30; that’s a 2:15 wait! Nobody came out to tell me and after inquiring this is a common occurrence. I set this appointment weeks ago and even called to try and reschedule as I had very important meetings scheduled today. I ended up cancelling my appointment without seeing the Dr. and not rescheduling as next appointment wasn’t till June. The Practice Manager Courtney and receptionist were very friendly and understood my frustration. Unbelievable! If you value your health you won't see this dr or his staff. I have been a patient for many years however, I haven't seen the actual Dr in over a year or longer, which is a violation. I contracted covid recently and called the staff to ask what the Dr.s protocol is and can he seem me virtually? The staff responded with the Dr wont' see anyone with covid and since he cant' see you there are no meds. All last year we did virtual appointments and when I pressed they said he could see me in two weeks. Well, in two weeks its impossible to get early treatment before this turns into pretty bad infections. When you are your most sick, make sure your dr can help you, this one will not. They have also run extremely late on all appointments for years, this Dr loves to talk about his other patients during my time to see him. Honestly, I could go on and on but will end this here. Choose a dr that wants healthy patients and cares about your health. If you value your health you won't see this dr or his staff. Very unprofessional and rude. It's nearly impossible to get ahold of any providersvor their assistants. They don't communicate at all, don't follow up or return calls. Don't waste your time at this place.

This place should be and probably will be sued for malpractice. They don't realize some patients are smart enough to record phone calls and keep records of every wrong thing that office does. Waited in the lobby for an hour before anyone came to tell me that Dr. Gilcrease wouldn't be able to see me for another hour or so. I set this appointment weeks ago. Dr. Gilgrease is the best ecommunicator with patients one on one. Been our family Dr. Many years. We hold his care and words of wisdom. He has helped my husband and myself for years. Very knowledgeable and impecable personality. He is our hero on keeping our health cked. Trust. Is of the boutmost degree.? Great Staff

Customer service leaves much to be desired. Always having problems with reception and this doctor's office. They don't care. It's all about money. But I guess that's just the way of the world now. Why should they be any different. Await I know why because it's being different that sets you apart from all the rest of the lackeys.

Zero stars!!! In the almost 5 years going to this office I have NOT EVEN ONCE seen “Dr” gilcrease. Every time I ask his nurses if I’ll ever see/meet the “Dr” they say he’s on vacation. The only reason I didn’t replace him sooner is bc I liked the nurse I always saw but I haven’t seen her in over a year so I finally replaced him. I put “Dr” in quotations because this loser doesn’t get off his behind long enough for anyone to know he even exists! Fricken Bigfoot has been spotted more often than this bum! 0/10 would not recommend unless you get off to being ignored & disappointed. Zero stars!!! My family and I have been patients of Dr. Gilcrease for 20 years. Now, when I need him to help me do a preop appointment for a most needed surgery, he drops me as a patient because I haven’t been sick often enough? Since I haven’t been sick in three years, they are insisting that I make an appointment as a new patient which is over a month out. So, now I have to find a new doctor in the next three weeks, explain my entire history, and hope they will take a new patient in time for me to get the surgery that I need. Found my long-term PCP! Dr G. has excellent communication skills, very thorough and took the time to explain things to me. I was treated like a real human and not just an insurance reimbursement code like Austin Regional Clinic.

I have been with this group for over 15 years, and this last appointment is what broke the camel's back. First, I was misdiagnosed with pneumonia and was sick for over a month when I finally was treated correctly. Next, a continuing battle with their billing department because they can't reconcile with my health reimbursement account and still send me bills which I don't actually owe any money on. Next, my wife came in with what I KNEW was a kidney stone pain, but as we got our results over the phone they were telling me she didn't have a kidney stone at the same time as the emergency room attendant told me she had a 10mm stone. This last time, we were set up for a virtual appointment. Sat on the phone for 2 hours. Finally called, and were told their system was down and didn't know they had an appointment scheduled. Complete incompetence at that office. Never again

He is very attentive to all concerns and is very competent.

Dr. Glicrease is a very good doctor. He truly cares about his patients and spends the time explaining things. The staff for the most part are professional, however there are times where they seem overwhelmed and forget about being professional and courteous. Those times are very frustrating, but Dr. Gilcrease is worth going to.

This is the most friendly Doctor’s office I have ever been to!! The receptionist is so sweet and welcoming! The two nurses are so amazingly sweet, they go above and beyond to help you with anything!!! Thank you Robin and Sabrina!!!! Dr. Gilcrease is amazing, he will listen to you, explain everything in a way you can always understand, even if he writes or draw it down on a paper to describe it better. He is highly Intelligent, and definitely treats you with the upmost respect, his bedside manner is amazing! The whole office works as a team and a family from what I have always noticed when I’m there!!! If you need hug, Robin gives you a hug just to let you know she truly cares!!!! Dr. Gilcrease is the most amazing doctor I've ever had!! I've been his patient for over 2 years now and couldn't ask for a better more caring doctor and staff! I've never had a bad experience with him, he takes his time and has always made me feel comfortable and explained everything thoroughly. The only time I've ever had a hard time was when dealing with the receptionist whether it be on the phone or in person... But I would highly recommend Dr. Gilcrease!

Decent place, with the exception of receptionist - she unprofessional and has no idea what people skills are. Hire someone who knows how to provide customer service for the sake of your practice.

I wasted so much time and money going to Dr. Gilcrease. He couldn't diagnose himself out of a paper bag. Instead, he sends you on a wild, goose chase to other Specialists to do his job. FYI Dr. Gilcrease, I wasn't a hypochondriac or just simply had Fibromyalgia, I had a drug, resistant, bacterial infection that thanks to you, spread to my spine and then bones. I spent over 2 years bed ridden listening to you. But don't worry, after kicking you and your practice to the curb, I found a real Dr. who properly diagnosed and treated me. Dr. Gilcrease and his staff are very professional and helpful. I always feel comfortable and am seen in a timely manner.

Wife and I have been satistfied patients of Dr. Gilcrease since 2004. He is patient and positive. And, he knows his stuff.

Dr. Gilcrease is a great doctor. He has been my stepson's doctor for over 12 years, my wife's doctor before that, and mine when I decide to actually go to a doctor. His staff is always great, and we have always had a good experience there. Sure, his office has had growing pains, but that goes with a great doctor in a fast moving area. I would recommend Dr. Gilcrease any time.

I got to say I didn’t get a real warm feeling with this office it was like being in the movie green mile when he said I felt like he was in a room full of bees just thinking him well that’s with the bedside manner was in that office rude receptionist/office manager whatever she want to call him self because she was offended when I told her that she was a receptionist. As someone who has an inherant dislike of doctors and a vast experience with them, I must say I was happy with the experience. The staff was efficient, helpful and friendly enough that I had no problems. Dr. Gilcrease was beyond what I hoped for. I was (at this point) simply looking for a doctor that didn't seem more interested in how much money they could make one day than actually taking the time to diagnose me properly. What I found was a doctor who listened, took note then explained patiently and in detail what our next steps were, why they are important, what they will do and what our contingency plan would be. Plus he did his in a professional yet friendly manner. Better than any doctor in my adult life. I would give this guy zero stars. I made an appointment for a physical and was advised to check with my insurance to make sure the specified interval had been met in order for insurance to pay. When I spoke with my insurance I was told that I had not had a physical the previous year which I knew to be wrong. For some reason Dr. Gilcrease had yet to file the paperwork for the previous physical and had a number of excuses as to why. I cancelled my appointment and found a real doctor.

I've been going to this office for several year and have had many good experiences. Dr. Gilcrease is awesome when you see him. He communicates well and is very good at explaining things. I usually only see him once or twice a year and the PA's the rest of the time. They are very courteous and explain things well also. The rest of the staff has always been very prompt and had good customer service. I cannot complain at all. I've never had a problem getting in quickly and fast prescriptions.

Gilcrease himself is great with his patients, when you can get in to see him. The office staff rarely answers the phone and when they do, you are put on hold so long that you have to leave a message. Problem is, they never call you back! It takes forever (when it happens) to get med refills. They also have staff whom suggest Holistic treatments for illnesses-If it were just a matter over mentally getting well, I wouldn't get an appointment! Has been my PCP for years, but going elsewhere!!
