Dr. Gary Eugene Burkhart

The reviews must be from friends. The staff is pushy and overbearing. The doctors only concern is how much money he can get out of you. Never met a dentist who requires a deposit upfront of work he hasn’t even begun yet. I took time off of work to be ridiculed and belittled. It was a disgusting horrible experience. And I pray no one has to go through that.

When I was about 8 years old this man (who had been told multiple times by my parents that we could not afford braces) told me that the space between my teeth was big enough to “park a motorcycle in,” among other things. Disclaimer: it was, in fact, not that large of a space - but after that visit I sure thought about it for most of my formative teenage years. Anyway, 10 years later I did get braces from an orthodontist that had no connection to you and I’m so sorry you never got your referral payday after insulting a small child multiple times. If you have mental health and need support during your appointment this may not be the place for you as staff does not allow supports in the room with patients.

Very timely, professional, and pleasant. Staff is wonderful. Dr is to the point. No forced small talk, which I like. I need unpleasant work done but will have it done here in a pleasant environment.

Dr Burkhart and Staff offer excellent care every time: cleanings, consultations, fillings. I find the doctor personable and a top-notch professional. The office and facilities are spotless with high attention to sanitation matters. Our family have been patients for 10+ years.

Dr. Burkhart was great... he got me in quick provided me with sound dental advice about a front tooth that I had broke, gave me a temporary that looked as good if not better than one of my permanent teeth, I felt very comfortable in his very clean office environment. Truly a great experience! I would love to make him my primary dentist....that’s right... he’s not my primary dentist , yet he went out of his way to get me in and fix me up... awesome person and a true professional. Love Dr. Burkheart and his staff! Always very accomodating, sweet, understanding, and they do a wonderful job. He is very interested in his patient’s well being and takes the time to talk and answer all questions and concerns. I found Dr. Burkhart to be very personable and his staff to be exceptionally communicative. Being a retired military officer and having used another dentist in the same area for more than 16 years, I have a unique perspective of the difference shown between the practices in terms of respect for me as a patient and a general feel of employees working in a warm and pleasant environment. Dr. Burkhart was a recommendation from my wife's co-worker. I had not been to a dentist in over 10 years and had teeth broken and falling out. I had given up on myself after several years of recovering from a brutal divorce and personal financial crisis. He treated me with respect and care and walked me through the entire process. He set a time line and we scheduled accordingly. After a few months of appointments I have my smile back as well as a confidence that was crushed years ago. Don't wait make your an appointment get started on you again. I am so pleased I found Dr and staff. From Tara to Janet to Dr Burkhart I am so grateful. I feel treated like a friend and not like a number. Love his gentle planned approach to dentistry. Will be moving an hour away and will still continue services with him.

Dr. Burkhart is there BEST!

Just had a pain free root canal. Don’t know what better thing I can say than that! Excellent dentist!

When my primary dentist recommended only repeated use of ibuprofen, Dr. Burkhart proved his dental knowledge and compassion in my time of crisis as many offices were closed during virus pandemic. I called his office for an emergency treatment as a broken filling and exposed nerve was left neglected, leaving me in severe pain for several weeks. Dr. Burkhart and his dental assistant Noelle made themselves available for me as a new client, educated me on plan of action, and treated my tooth so I am no longer in pain. I cannot thank them BOTH enough for relieving me of pain during this risky time, high standards of cleanliness, and for their genuine kindness during the appointment. Dr. Burkhart is the very best dentist I have been to while I have been living in PA. He fixes things and when he does they stay fixed and done properly. I have been elsewhere with not good results. He is the very best and I would recommend him to everyone!! Mary O

Had over $22, 000.00 worth of work done around 2013-2014. It looked great! Was surprised by how much it cost but agreed to the work. Needed it done. Today I called because my #7 tooth snapped off so I called his office for an appt. I was told I had a balance of $927.?? AND, I wasn't given an appt. He said he "WROTE OFF" the balance. Odd, because that was the same amt he owed my husband for snow plowing at his office and his HOME. His work was OK but his work ethetics leave ALOT to be desired! This review could go on and on but I am disusted at how this turned out. We had an agreement with regards to any accounts to both my office visits and his snow plowing bill. I would NEVER "skip out" on any bill. I was NEVER sent any bill as he was plowed "5" times which was agreed as "PAYMENT IN FULL"! Watch you account and payments very closely. Great services my teeth have never look this good unlit I went to this dentist. Got a root canal done with no problem did have to wait for a crown from my insurance they did everything in the office.

I have been a patient of Dr Burkhart for 30 years. His practice has always been cutting edge and yet affordable. Having had extensive dental work done since I was younger I was thrilled when he invested in a one day crown procedure about 6-7 years ago. No more temporary acrylic crowns and then maybe the new one from an outside lab fits or maybe it doesn't. He listens, and will work with one on scheduling work at the proper time to take advantage of insurance deductibles and yearly allowances. His staff has always been courteous and professional. This dentist is fantastic. His staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The doctor explains every step as he’s working in your mouth. No judgement zone and makes you feel 100% comfortable. Give him a try , I’m so thankful I came across him

I was just there last wk.I needed a relining,for my dentures.What a job,he could not even matched the color of my dentures,every thing is uneven,now they cracked,and i got a bill to pay of $442.oo dollar.And nothing got fixt.What a shame.Now i have to look for another dentist,who knows what he's doing,not like him.(Dr. Burkhart).

I found Dr. Burkhart to be an excellent dentist and also friendly and pleasant. The staff is awesome- friendly and helpful. The office was clean and quite comfortable. And the prices were very reasonable! I would definitely go back again and would recommend the office of Dr. Gary Burkhart and staff to anyone. My experience was very positive!

Was not pleased at all. I was shown by staff that I had a cracked tooth and it was not corrected or even recognized by Dr. Burkhart. When I returned one week later with continued pain in that tooth I was simply told by the doctor that I had “sensitive teeth”. I asked in particular why was only one tooth sensitive then? No answer. The tooth was shaved a bit at that time but still months later I have pain in that tooth. Currently looking for a new dentist. Was not pleased at all. I appreciate everything they do for me. The team is friendly and polite I have never had any problems.

I like that Dr. Burkhart has a good personality and he is able to keep me comfortable during my appointments.

They consult me and make sure that I know what is happening when I go in for my appointments. I am always comfortable and if they weren't messing with my mouth I could probably fall asleep.

Dr. Burkhart is great! I love him I have never had any pain. The staff is friendly too.

It is super easy to schedule an appointment. When ever I have needed one I have been able to fit in at a time that is convenient for me. The office has a system that sends a text a week before as a reminder of your appointment which really helps me plan.

The staff treats me warmly like I am a friend. I have been a patient for 15 years and I don't feel like I am in a dentist office at all. I don't mind going for my appointments and my cleanings at all.

When I moved into the area I was given a list of doctors and dentists in the area. I asked all of my new co-workers as well who the best choice was and they all said Dr. Burkhart. I am so glad that they did! He is fantastic!

Liz the hygienist is fantastic. She is friendly, professional and always does an exquisite job in cleaning my teeth. I would highly recommend Dr. Burkhart to absolutely anyone.

Dr. Burkhart is always very honest about what I need to do with my teeth. He has even given me local anesthesia or whatever I have needed to make me feel very comfortable. He also tells me what he is going to do next so that I am aware of all the tools and movements in my mouth.

Dr. Burkhart treats me like a friend, we are I guess after 20 years. I am always comfortable at my appointments. The staff is also very nice.
