Dr. Frederick Julian Kruger

I have been a healthcare worker for 20 years. A Workman's comp doctor sent me for a second opinion on an approved lateral ankle stabilization surgery for 2 ruptured ligaments. ATFL and CFL. Dr Kruger was sent the MRI of my toes, not my ankle. The damage is in the ankle and leg, not my toes. Prior to seeing me, he had a a prewritten evaluation on his computer already typed up. It stated that there were no ruptured ligaments. When I stated that they were ruptured, he did a double take of the computer screen to make sure of what he read. I had all of my MRI discs and reports with me, but he didn't want to see them. He told me his story of how he would have never been a work comp doctor before, but now that he's older it's good because he doesn't have to do surgeries anymore. Wait! You don"t have to do surgeries for workman's comp? Why was I sent for a surgical consult???? At least he could have looked at my MRI report and disc before you decide not to help an injured worker.

Unprofessional and prejudice. Told me to stop eating fried chicken and potato salad to lose weight. You can guess my ethnicity. 0/10 would not recommend.

I saw Dr. Kruger for ankle pain. He was professional and caring. He took the time to explain my diagnosis and options. I asked questions and felt good with his answers. His assistant, Rachel, provided helpful information that I appreciated. Overall, it was a good experience.

Worst experience with this doctor dad quickly got out of there his only medical advice to patients is to say "stop eating tortillas"

After 5 visits and saying what a cutie pie I am..end result...need to lose weight and stay off my foot, nothing in my foot going to kill me. Very unprofessional.

After visiting my heal supr still hurt. But the reason I'm giving a one star is for the racial remarks. Not called for, and I refuse spending my money there.

So this so called Dr. has zero beside manner. Not only did he humiliate me in front if my husband, he was just RUDE in general. Dr. Kruger is great. He has treated my ingrown toenail. He is always on time and his staff is professional and courteous.

I’ve been going to Dr Kruger for years, 25 years ago I had 3 bunions removed, I’m still going strong no complications whatsoever.. 4/2018: Dr. Frederick Kruger, podiatrist. This guy is a total arrogant narcissist. After waiting for over 1 hour, Dr. Kruger walked into the room and asked me why l was seeing him. The same info l gave to his nurse 15 minutes earlier. I told him that l had 2 rigid big toes, to which he cut me off and said nothing could be done, because at 52, l was too young for anything other than medication he stated would not really help. He then flippantly stated "what else?" I told him l was also experiencing heel pain daily with pain level ranging a 8 out of 10, and causing me too limp. He replied "well your insurance doesn't cover orthotics." I guess that meant l couldn't possible afford orthotics on my own, and end of story. All this without examining my foot. I told him that l often had to wear an ankle brace on my right foot to prevent from rolling my ankle inward, and that l have walked on the inside or outside of my shoes since childhood. And thus, l quickly ruin the soles of my shoes rapidly. Dr Kruger stated that he did not know who told me that was a bad thing. With that, l thanked him for wasting my time and his poor service. I made the front desk return my money, and l hope this post stops others from wasting their time and money with a podiatrist that does not take interest in all his clients, and clearly assumes that if one utilizes an hmo, they most be poor, and deserving of minimal care or a doctor's knowledge. I will report him to my medical group as soon as possible. 7/17/18: PS. I forgot to mention that at no time did he actually examine or touch my feet, heel or ankle. He just sat across from me and made the above comments. And to address a review recently posted by another patient; l am not Hispanic, overweight or have diabetes. As if that matters. Horrible experience! DO NOT GO TO THIS DR.!!! My child passed out in his office and he provided horrible bedside manner and care. I took my sweet 13 year old son in for an ingrown toenail. The Dr. immediately launched into flirting inappropriately with me and asked what my husband did for work before he really even assessed my child. Just very unprofessional from the start. He determined that my son would benefit best from having a minor procedure to stop the ingrown nail from returning and I decided I could tolerate his arrogance just to get this done. My son immediately was uncomfortable with the sight of the needle and instead of kind compassion and reassurance he berated and belittled my child. Within the first few pokes my child was shaking and upset and really trying to tolerate the pain, especially after being told he'd charge my insurance no matter if he completed the procedure or not. I asked if I could hold my sons hand and he told me to sit down, that I was not going to do that. My child then passed out in the chair and stopped breathing. The Dr. yelled at me when I tried to go to him and proceeded to revive him with ammonia salts. It took at least a minute to bring him back. IT WAS TERRIFYING! My son was crying uncontrollably and begged for me to get him out of there. The Dr. just stood there impatiently and asked if we were going to do this or not. EVEN after he had just fainted!! I asked for a minute and tried to calm my son down. He never returned in the 5 minutes I was calming him and we decided to leave and just walked out. The Dr made no attempt to apologize or speak to us in any way even though we walked right by his office where he was seated. He just kept his back to us. Dr. Kruger can be a little standoffish at first but he is very knowledgeable and you need to make sure you do a little bit of research or you mention what you just told the nurse right before you see him because most likely he will not see them due to being so busy or maybe he just wants to ask you personally. Be sure to explain where and maybe why you will have pain as well as your discomfort level. He will get you in and out as long as you mention what and where your pain is located. I had a pleasant visit with Dr. Kruger. The wait time was about 30 minutes but then again I was a new patient and I had to fill out paperwork so it was pretty fast if you ask me. Dr. Kruger was very nice, he took the time to take a look at the problems I was having, explained to me in detail of what was going on and what could be done and the options I had. He asked me a few times if I had any more questions, which was really nice because most doctors don't like to take their time to answer questions so I was really comfortable to keep asking questions. He did recommend his product which is only about $30 or so, which to me is a great deal. If you want to fix a problem you must spend money & $30 is nothing. The plus side, I've only been using his product for about a week & can already see a big difference! I had a pleasant visit with Dr. Kruger. Dr. Kruger is great. His demeanor is calm, positive, attentive, flexible, and personal. His staff is also friendly and professional. My wait time in both the waiting room and the exam room was very short. I was treated for plantar fasciitis. I was in severe pain. His recommended treatment was a cortisone shot in the affected foot. He did warn me the injection would be painful and he was right! But within a couple days I was completely pain free. I can now enjoy my upcoming vacation.

I visited Dr. Kruger about 10 years ago. He successfully treated me for Plantar Facitis I went back to see him 2 Times in the last 4 months for pain in the top of my feet. He never even came near my feet. He just sat across from me and basically said there is a tiny person inside of me trying to get out. Look Dr. Kruger I all ready know that I am Overweight. There is not a better doctor out there excellent at what he dose and the best doctor around has a lot of experience.

I had a good experience with doctor. I liked how he tells things the way they are. NO sugar coating. He spent time with me and answered my questions. He even suggested that if I wanted a second opinion he was open to it, he even suggested that I do it. He was very specific about what he wanted me to do after surgery to help with the healing. But if you dont want the truth or can’t handle it then this doctor isn’t for you. I have referred many of my friends. He is very good at his profession

I mean, he seemed kind of sympathetic towards me. He saw that I was very nervous and he attempted to comfort me (in a very weird way). I came in for a fungal infection, and he instantly recommended me this stuff he was selling. It was thirty freaking dollars!!! I asked him if there was any alternative, and he instantly shot everything down. I had asked him about the pills for it, but he instantly shut that down. I was having a very good day until my appointment with Dr Freddy Kruger. The rude staff who never smiled or bothered to look me in the eye...accused me of stealing her ink pen Lol... when I finally got to see Dr. Kruger, He looked at my feet and said what's wrong with you. I told him that i had fallen arches and my feet hurt. He ask me what kind of pain meds would I like. I was appalled, I said excuse me, as he went on to say unless your going to have replacement surgery there is nothing I can do...It was my Birthday and I felt as if I wasted my time. I will never ever go back to this doctor again in my life!. 1. hes very racist, 2 he was very rude to my daughter and asked if she had any mental problems because of the way she was walking. He even said i must have diabetes because i am Hispanic. Over all he was being ignorant and looked at me and my daughter with a ugly look. Took my uncle to his appointment and was waiting for over 30min Just to get inside the office! The front desk was very rude and nobody cared that we had to wait outside the office while they conversated the whole time ignoring us.

OUCH!!! I made an appointment because of ingrown toenails. I waited one and one-half hours to see the "doctor" who may as well have been Freddy Kruger. After the long wait, he spent approximately 5 minutes with me rapidly cut off my toe nails, cutting into my skin (I know how to cut my own nails--I needed help with the ingrown toe nails which he never touched). I'll take my chances with the nail salons in the future. OUCH!!! I made an appointment because of ingrown toenails. Dr. Kruger did a wonderful, pain free job on my daughter's in grown toe nail. His staff was friendly and helpful to her as well. Very pleasant experience.

Outstanding, kind and caring about patient quality of life.

I had an ingrown toenail treated, and it was so painful!! He numbed the toe, but there was an area that was still sensitive, which I didn't know until he started cutting into it. I told him that it was painful, and he proceeded to ask me to describe the pain. Apparently, I didn't describe it to his satisfaction, so he insisted that I wasn't really in pain at all, that it was only in my head. It was some of the worst pain I've ever felt, and it was awful to be unheard and devalued in addition.

The pain free doctor i got my ingrown toenail out at a good price and most of all PAIN FREE!! expert doctor highly recommended!!
